Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Right across the street from East Croydon Station and Boxpark, with a large range of shops and takeaway options along the street. Two local Sainsbury's, a Co Op Food, Amazon Fresh and a local market all within walking distance give many options for groceries, as well as the Whitgift shopping centre with options like a M&S and Boots. Close access to bus stops and the local trams give multiple transport options.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team has been very helpful and quick to respond and help address any issues raised. Individuals like Chantel and Daniel go out of their way, and really make residents feel like valued members of the community.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was surprised with how warm my apartment was during the winter, and never even needed to turn on the heating. On the flip side though, during the summer heat waves, a fan is strongly recommended!

East Croydon is the best place to live in Croydon and Ten Degrees is located right at the heart of East Croydon with easy access to all necessities which is great

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, we are receiving immediate response from building management for problems reported. Especially, Chantel and Taimoor have been excellent in responding to our queries and getting them resolved on time. Thanks for their great customer service

Living in Ten Degrees has been a mixed experience. On the positive side, there are plenty of local shops and supermarkets within walking distance, and a good mix of restaurants and cafes nearby. Open spaces such as local parks are well-maintained and great for walks or outdoor relaxation. Transport links are fairly convenient, with reliable bus, tram, and train connections, though peak-hour congestion can be a challenge. Living on 100A George Street is generally quiet and friendly, though parking can be a bit tricky, especially in the evenings. Bin collections are regular, but of late, bins are left out longer than they should be. There’s not much anti-social behaviour; however, traffic noise is noticeable during rush hour. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to live, especially for renters.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been fairly responsive, usually addressing issues like maintenance or communal area concerns within a reasonable timeframe. Communication could be more proactive, but overall they handle problems professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how limited the parking availability would be; it’s often difficult to find a spot nearby. A tip for new neighbours: make sure to check how your waste and recycling bins are managed, as it varies depending on the day and isn't clearly marked at first.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building Management is excellent in responding to queries or problems. We could find a person or two everytime who are there to help us. Especially, Chantel, Delphine, Daniel, Taimoor and Funto are always extremely helpful and they respond to queries on time in a very customer friendly manner. Great to have such a crew as part of building management who makes out living experience seamless and hassle free. Big Thanks for their consistent support

Nothing specific as everything has been explained in detail during viewing and induction. We even requested for additional viewing after confirmation of the flat booking and building management was very kind enough to serve us with the viewing

I've lived here for 3+ years and any issues are promptly addressed and fixed.

The area gets a bad reputation but has a lot to offer and is underrated
