Pros: Close to Tesco The area is generally safe. You won’t find many louts in the area. Close to the Pudding Mill Lane Station and Stratford Station. There is a bar (Jim & Tonic) and a market

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

See above. The way they dealt with issues leaves a lot to be desired.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing that I can think of. But maybe it should be about the abysmal property management.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to Tesco superstore and also has its own grocery / convenience shop. Also have access to underground storage unit and roof terrace however parking is expensive and you must pay every month per space. Closest station is Pudding Mill Lane 10 mins walk or Bromley-by-Bow 15 mins walk. Stratford is also close by 20 mins walk. Construction and traffic noise is low. Bins directly outside buildings attract many flies when opened.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance requests take a long time be actioned. Sometimes over 1 month. Was not given storage unit keys or keys for post box until around a month after moving in. Intercom is also broken at the moment and ticket has been raised but not been actioned for over a month despite following up with concierge.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that even though you are a resident you still have to pay a lot for parking and bringing your own vehicle.

Very quiet and safe, the community is nice, not too crowded, theres a market and parking available along with other facilities

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues have been experiences so far, but on general enquiries the staff has been very friendly

The tube isnt that well connected and quite far to get to

Not always it’s been taken in consideration issue that’s been mentioned

Good: easy to access transports, friendly neighbourhood Bad: sometimes it’s unsafe with same gangs walking around and drug trafficking in the area too

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Some issue were fixed quickly some others had two wait half a year. Some of the fixed problems reappeared after a short period of time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

More clarity from the landlord in terms of the plan for the future of the island and safety of their tenants and a better control of who lives in the islands. In the tenants contract says explicitly that you can't smoke on the flat specially drugs and not make loud noises and host parties after 10-11 pm and there’re still tenants who ignore it which makes families with kids like mine wanting to leave the island
