The area needs leisure development

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s a quiet and well communicated area, and you need this last bit, good commuting options, because the down side is that there’s nothing around, no shops, no leisure, no hospitality... it feels like a bunch of streets with only houses.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I always have to contact the agency if I have an issue with the flat, building management always have said it wasn’t their problem

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lack of shops, leisure facilities in the area.

Horrible Place

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Horrible place to live, most is social housing and there are so many jobless people hanging around causing trouble that they had to take the benches away to try and stop people from congregating. Doesn't make you feel good about living there - you just start to beeline from the station to your house to avoid being outside.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had checked how much of the development was social housing before renting.

What is the best feature of your home:

The door locks, the building stands, there's water and a roof.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Absolutely love the development I live in, the management team look after the properly so well, and it is always so clean. Absolutely convenient location, good supermarkets and shops in the local area. Thoroughly recommend!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how difficult it was to sort the plumbing out in these flats! It’s centrally controlled, so plumbers need permission from the building which is a real pain.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

A bit more windows and ventilation as it gets very hot in the summer! It’s lovely and mild in the winter though!

Great building, not a fun area!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area has developed as a total residential one, so it's a bit difficult to find shops and there are no restaurants around, you need to commute a bit to find them. Thankfully we do have a gym, however it's quite small and limited in terms of equipment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It's a bit expensive for what the area offers, but it's a good value if you enjoy spending time home.

What is the best feature of your home:

It's a modern building so all flats are new, open with lots of windows.
