Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Having now lived here for nearly years it was the best move I’ve ever done. The complex is a very friendly place and all of the residents look out for each other. We have a WhatsApp group for all which is great for general problems or help. And the occasional moan. It is well maintained though there have been issues with some shoddy workmanship

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had a few issues at the start but they were sorted out quite quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Rising service charges are the one thing I wish we could do something about. We all try and fix little things, but regardless it still keeps rising

Having now lived here for 3 years - I can honestly say it's the best thing we could've done. The small gated community is friendly and everyone genuinely helps everyone if needed. The gardens are starting to look lovely now that plants residents have bough and planted are established - the cleaning ladies from NHG always say what a pleasure it is to come here, as everyone os so friendly and the garden is well looked after - the gardening has bought the residents together and there are always comments on how nice it looks.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management were poor to start as always directed us back to the Housing Association

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Service charge is a bit of a nightmare - it is creeping up quite a lot - even though the residents do look after the complex. I wish I had looked into buying a bigger share to keep the rent down a bit

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A small complex with 16 flats and 9 houses. A very friendly little community. There is parking which is a big plus. The refuse cupboard is large with enough bins, emptied quite regularly, though have missed a few. There is no anti social behaviour and all residents are in a WhatsApp group which is good for problems in the complex. There is a small local shop, with main shops 5 minute walk away, along with a hood selection of restaurants and takeaways. Excellent bus service especially as fairly close to Willesden bus garage. Really happy to be living here

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, guttering was incorrectly fitted so lots of flooding in wet weather, but much better now. Intermittent entry to complex, which is annoying but eventually sorts itself out

Wish the grass trimmer wouldn’t cut down flowers that residents have planted!!
