Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the area is great. There is a train station less than 10 minutes away and really good transport links for tram, bus, bike and walking. Loads of restaurants are nearby and deliver to the development. Living on this street is a little difficult with the construction as sometimes it's really loud but the flats are really well sound proofed. It is just annoying when you can't open the window because it is so loud. There are a lot of unhoused people that are in the centre so sometimes there are people in need outside the development. They are just people who are relatively harmless but it can scare people who are not expecting it.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any maintenance problems are dealt with as fast as possible as we can report this through the app. Any emails sent to the 2 people on site take longer to get back to and I had to chase for queries that I had sent because they took so long.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
They told me that the gym was going to be done and available to use in the first 2 months that I had my tenancy. They had assured me and convinced me to choose that place to live as the gym was included in the rent. It was not until a year in that the gym was made and you have to pay extra for membership, it is not included as advertised. I wish I knew this was going to be the case as then I would not have chosen here to live. When I raised the issue of false advertising, I was denied any compensation. I was also promised in the job advert and by the agents that there would be a rooftop terrace that we had access to with furniture. I again, did not have access to this until months into my tenancy and even then it took almost a year for there to be furniture up there.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Location is very good and convenient. However, the rent is slightly high. However there are no parking facilities which will not be a good thing for drivers.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have asked some questions via email but not very responsive. I always need to get downstairs to speak with him face to face but it was challenging for me as I work from 8-6pm.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
having a clear price list will be very helpful before moving in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in my area has both positives and drawbacks One of the best parts of living here is the apartment staff, especially Muhammad Ahmed Aziz, who is EXCELLENT. He always brings a positive and friendly vibe, making residents feel welcome and comfortable. On the positive side, there’s a good range of local shops, including supermarkets, independent stores, and cafes, making everyday essentials easily accessible. There are also several great restaurants and bars nearby, offering a mix of international cuisines and friendly atmospheres. Open spaces like parks are well-maintained and provide a great spot for walking or relaxing. Transport links are generally convenient, with frequent bus services and a nearby train station offering easy access to the city centre and beyond. However, during peak hours, public transport can get quite crowded, and occasional delays do occur. My street is usually quiet, with friendly neighbours and a safe environment. Bin collections are regular and reliable. Parking, however, can be a challenge at times, especially in the evenings, as there are limited on-street spaces. While anti-social behaviour is rare, traffic noise can occasionally be noticeable during rush hour. Overall, it’s a pleasant area to live with a good balance of convenience and comfort.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yeah, very patient and timely and the staffs are so nice
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
while the area is generally quiet, there can be occasional noise from nearby roads during rush hour or weekends, depending on which side of the building your unit faces. If you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend asking for a flat away from the main street. On the positive side, I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and respectful the neighbours are—something that doesn’t always come through during a brief visit. It’s made a big difference in the overall experience of living here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Paradise View is in a very central location up by the town hall. Shops, plenty of restaurants and 5 minute walk from Birmingham New Street makes it very accessible place to be. There is no parking at the property but several parking complexes around it.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Pretty timely and easy to raise through the app. Explain the issue and photo.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
With the central location, big supermarkets can be an issue at times. There's a big Tesco Express on New street and Morisons at five ways.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This building is in central Birmingham, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars. Transport links are excellent, with nearby bus, train, and tram services. Grocery stores are close by, including a convenience store at the doorstep. Bin collection is at the bottom of the building. Despite being near a main road, the area stays quiet with little traffic noise or anti-social behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had issues with my shower, and the building management quickly responded to issues I have raised by proposing viable solutions and sending people to fix the issue , even on the weekends!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is no parking available and the gym and utility fees (water and electricity) is not included in the rent.
