What is the best feature of your home:
The size of the flats are great. I live in an 88sqm flat. An aircondition exhaust outlet on the room walls could have been available. Easier to set up your AC during summer

The area is underdeveloped, with sales managers promising shops and gyms which never happened. the travel options were oversold and the fittings and fixtures were mentioned to be of high standard which is not the case.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Noisy railways, lack of development, timelines of incoming services.
What is the best feature of your home:
It is mine, I worked hard to purchase this property and when it was sold the sales manager told lies to oversell the property.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good: It felt good to have some privacy and security in the building. Living here has minimised traffic noise (ambulance or police sirens) I often hear from my previous flat. Having a concierge who receives out of hour deliveries or when we are not around was very helpful. Also they added a supermarket in the Oaklands Rise, it made trips to store very breezy. I love the view from our flat, when the sun rises it absorbs heat, we can see the London Skyline, and during our downtime we do train watching. Our neighbours are also non-problematic. Bin collections are up to date as far as I’ve observed. Bad: The street going to Willesden Jxn Station and the one towards North Acton can be really dark at night. When the bus interval was too long, I often resort to walking at least 10-15 mins home. There was an occasion where I notice a car following me, it slows down when I walk and stops when I do. It was a good thing I was almost near the building and called my husband then. The area can be dodgy. There is no parking for the residents, apparently all the spaces in the basement were taken. I hope this will change once the HS2 station opens in the future.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That they could at least have a bigger trolley than an Asda grocery trolley for when moving in. It was a struggle getting into and back from the lift.
What is the best feature of your home:
The view and a big bedroom. There is enough space to host guests as well.

The overall design of the building is modern but the internal space division could have definitely been better

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area has a great range of shops which makes day to day errands very easy. Being able to get into central London within about 20 to 25 minutes is a big advantage and there are several transport lines to choose from, with the Elizabeth line expected to make it even more convenient. The neighbourhood is generally quiet. The only real downside is parking. There is very limited parking available, which makes it difficult for families who need to have a car.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I really wish I had known before moving in is that the windows do not have any privacy film and adding one ourselves was not allowed. My flat directly faces another building, so if I keep the blinds open it feels like I am basically sharing a living room with the neighbours across the way. There is no real privacy and because of that I end up keeping the blinds down most of the time, which limits natural light and makes the space feel darker than it should. It would have been helpful to know this in advance so I could plan for privacy solutions or at least be prepared for how noticeable it would be day to day.
What is the best feature of your home:
The best feature of my home is definitely the location. Being so close to transport links and able to reach central London quickly is incredibly convenient and makes day to day life much easier.
