Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Milliners Yard is located on London Road. The only downside to the location is that it is uphill. But when you consider the fact that it is so centrally located in Liverpool, a slightly uphill trek is the smallest of concerns. Your closest rail stations are Liverpool Lime St (approx 10 mins walk), and Liverpool Central (approx 15 mins walk). There’s also a few bus stops right on the door step too, a Tescos and Lidl adjacent, and for those late night cravings then Shaz Schwarma is right next door. The property has a bin room with enough bins to accommodate all its residents, and traffic noise is a minor issue (if one at all), if your room faces the main road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has responded well. Please see the review of the development for further insight.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing I can think of off the top of my head! Milliners Yard is a lovely property in the developing Fabric District, and I am excited to see how this area will be rejuvenated in the coming years.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of Milliners Yard is amazing in terms of feasibility to get groceries, access to food shops and even public transport- a major bus stop right in front of the building, the Liverpool Lime Street Station 5 mins walk away. The Liverpool One and the town centre is within walking distance as well. The bin area is very well maintained with sufficient bin availability - recycling and general. There is basement parking but there is also council car parks available right behind the building. Overall the location is perfect!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team has responded promptly every time a concern has been raised. This is highly appreciated !

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The insulation is very good- can get quite warm during extreme summers

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the area that Milliners Yard is in as it has plenty of points of interest and convenient amenities close by. It's an easy 10 minute walk into the city centre and for Lime Street Station, Liverpool Central Library, St George's Hall, Walker Art Gallery, Empire Theatre, Liverpool University buildings and Royal Liverpool Hospital. The building also has plenty of shops near by including a Tesco Express, Lidl, Home Bargains as well as local shops, cafes and takeways. As well as having Lime Street Station down the road there's great link via bus stops close by.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I've had minimal issues but the building management are always on hand to help.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The area is due for redevelopment which should see an improvement around the area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The appartment is located close to the city centre with Lime Street Station being a few minutes walk. There is a Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, and Homebargain all in very close walking distance too!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues I've raised have been fixed quickly and promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew they had a trolly you could borrow to help move you furniture with, would have saved bringing my own. But again just shows how helpful the staff are.

Fantastic Living at The Milliners Yard

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The building staff are excellent always very helpful and friendly. The best thing about living on London Road is the convenience. You are right by the universities and just a few minutes' walk from Lime Street Station and the city centre. Transport links are perfect. The area has endless takeaways and practical shops. The main drawback is that it's a very busy main road, so there is constant traffic noise and it's always active, but that's expected for being so central. Bin collections are reliable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team is one of the best things about living here. On the rare occasion I've had an issue, the staff have responded immediately and resolved it very quickly and professionally. I've been extremely impressed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A tip for new neighbours: make sure you use the residents' lounge and rooftop terrace! The lounge is surprisingly quiet during the day and is a perfect spot if you work from home. And the views from the roof terrace, especially at sunset, are incredible.
