There’s a Sainsbury’s local shop just outside the building which makes things very convenient if you need to grab some groceries. However, there is v eg limited parking in the parking lot.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All problems and issues have been dealt with professionally and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Limited and expensive downstairs parking and lack of furniture on outdoor terrace.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area has a nice balance of positives and negatives. There’s a good range of local shops, cafés and restaurants, offering both independent options and well-known chains. The nearby parks and open spaces are well-maintained, making it easy to enjoy walks or outdoor activities. Public transport links are fairly reliable, with frequent buses and a train station within walking distance, although services can be limited late at night. On my street, parking can sometimes be difficult, especially in the evenings, but bin collections are regular and efficient. It’s generally quiet, with low levels of anti-social behaviour and only occasional traffic noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team has generally responded quickly and professionally to any issues raised. Most maintenance requests are handled efficiently. Overall, they are helpful and approachable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been nice to know how long the construction noises would be going on for and what my window view would be like

Great place to live with great amenities. Everything is nearby, bus station, train station and grocery stores.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been very responsive and quick to understand. We have a building app as well to manage any problems and issues. All issues are addressed quickly bases on the level or urgency

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known how quickly the area fills up with students during term time, it can get lively, but it’s also a great atmosphere once you’re used to it.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really nice area, pretty quiet, new development, has a Sainsbury's local right across from us which is very handy. Parking is available, near the train station and across from the bus station too

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The only time we had an issue to repair anything our blinds fell down and they fixed them quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The gym can get a bit busy throughout the week after normal working hours

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is really convenient, and despite being in the city centre is really quiet. Hardly any traffic noise, only issue is 2 mornings a week the bin lorries come which is extremely loud (but my window is directly over where they’re collected from). I am in the Madison East building which I feel doesn’t get as much community as the Mercer West building (which has a fully stocked coffee machine, fresh herbs, all resident events, TVs, toilet). I also feel extremely safe here due to the quieter location and security measures getting into the building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, all issues are always fixed but sometimes it can take a few weeks of chasing up. But the maintenance operatives are really helpful and friendly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Personally if I had the option I would live in the Mercer West building as I feel there is a lack of community in Madison East in terms of what communal amenities are available
