Smart and clean studio flat, good views

Smart and clean studio flat (one bedroom) with fantastic views across London from the balcony. The outside of the flats looked a little tired despite this being a newish build. Think it’s the colours! The agent was really well informed about the local area and commuting into town. Very helpful. Think this would be ideal for those commuting into central daily. I was disappointed with lack of green directly around Marner Point.

The perfect commuter bolthole in up-and-coming Bromley-by-Bow

A top choice for young professionals, the Marner Point development doesn’t disappoint when it comes to location. Both the Bromley-by-Bow and Devons Road stations are practically on the doorstep (a two and five-minute walk away), and put the likes of Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf within a 15-minute commute via the District, Hammersmith & City, and DLR routes.

There’s a collection of one-bedroom studios, and two and three-bed apartments here. They’re all equally well designed, with spacious, open-plan kitchen and living areas, and high-tech extras like video entry phones and underfloor heating. Each Marner Point home has been dressed in a palette of neutrals – think white walls and wooden floors – making it easy for newcomers to put their own stamp on things, décor-wise. Full-height windows mean the apartments are flooded with natural light, too.

Other Marner Point plus points include a 24-hour concierge service and a private gym for residents. As for the development’s impressive communal roof terraces, they offer panoramic views out to Canary Wharf and the City.

Close by, you’ll find a steadily growing café scene. Just like any other East London postcode worth its salt, Bromley-by-Bow is fast-becoming known for its lip-smacking brunch options, whether you’re after a greasy fry-up or some smashed avo on toast. There’s also a good line in authentic pubs selling a range of lagers and ales, and a new wave of pie and mash shops.

If you’re looking to explore further out, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford City shopping mall are both notable easy-to-reach attractions. And if you’d rather spend your time in the peace and quiet, you’re in the right place. This pocket of the capital is celebrated for its parks and canals.

Great location and good facilities!

Marner Point has amazing location with less than 1 minute walk to the tube station and buses right outside the door. Gym and concierge service is a great addition and as it’s fairly new built the flats are in GREAT condition. Great community and very friendly people on the development!

Two lifts sometimes makes for a little waiting time during “rush hours” when everyone is going to/from work.

Best location and great building

Since moving to Marner Point I never want to live anywhere else. The flats are in great condition, especially the bathrooms which I highly value especially since the bathrooms standards in London can be so-so. Garbage room with recycling and great communications with the tube around the corner as well as bus and DLR. Having a gym and a Sainsbury’s in the building are just two of many perks.

Lea river a lovely place for strolls or jogging.

Great apartment just above the underground

As mentioned below, the apartment is very clean and have amazing view! The apartment is just above the bromley-by-bow underground and close to the DLR, bus stops and as well as supermarkets such as; Sainsbury just below and Tesco 3 min walk! We have a gym which offers you the basic machines and a roof top. Be aware that there is not much going on, on the roof top but at least you can have a great view from there towards Canary wharf, Emirates cable car, The shard, Walki-Talkie and other cool attractions and locations!

 I wished I knew that our concierge is as well a package/mail distributor for the area which makes it easy for whoever to enter the building! For the security part, I am a bit worried as we have received unwanted seller knocking on our door!
