We moved in on day one and wow what a fantastic place to live. The apartments are all you would expect - very well laid out with all you need and WiFi included. But what makes it so special are all the shared spaces and the incredible why they have been designed and furnished. The gym, studio, co-working spaces, co-lounge, games room (with baby grand piano) private dining rooms and meeting rooms... the outside courtyards and the roof terrace are just lovely too. Being in my 60s I imagine I'm not a usual resident for this kind of modern co-living development but what I have available to me here is not short of life-changing... I love it. The other huge positive is the team - thanks to Charlotte, their leasing manager, who made the process seamless and has been on hand to answer all and any questions. Finally the area is great too - brilliant coffee shops, restaurants and bars - I'm already a big fan of St Paul's Market and the Indian Brewery Co- both just minutes away.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Makers Place is in the Jewellery Quarter and while incredibly central is also an oasis in the city. It's steps from Snow Hill station and St Chads tram stop and a 10 minute walk to New Street station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There is a detailed handbook provided when you move in and the Moda Living app is very helpful. I have WhatsApped any questions and had replies in minutes. But we've had not issues that we've needed to raise

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I had no idea how good the co-living spaces would be - make sure you see them all when you do a viewing
