Poor quality design and material particularly the public area
Extremely bad particularly the public areas. For example bin rooms floor are asphalted and not epoxy costed. All security doors are of very poor quality and can be easily forced open. Car park shutters keeps on breaking down. Lift keeps on breaking down.

Location is good being close to the city centre with good transport. Also not too far from London Heathrow

The poor quality specs on n public areas and the poor after sale customer service
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very badly, always away and what I always received is an automated in the rare occasions when Steve appeared to attend to some of my issues he was not helpful and times can easily be misunderstood as arrogant. Surely not the right person for customer services unless it is Fairview deliberate policy to appoint someone like him
Then all the inadequacies that crept in were completely related to how fairview is run as a company.
I was happy when I first moved it. Everything seemed perfect. Then all the inadequacies that crept in were completely related to how fairview is run as a company.
1. My biggest issue is the way fairview is indifferent to all the customers that have paid and bought their properties. E.g we have these winds on our apartment being a 9th floor apartment and have a balcony door that swings and as a result bent over it’s own hinges. Fairview provided doorstops on some apartments and none in my balcony.
I complained to customer service, and the guy Steve was uninterested and showed no empathy. He didn’t even bend over to inspect and started blaming my manually installed door stopper which I installed *after* it started to bend to prevent it from breaking down completely. This is what you get from Fairview after you’ve put in your hard earned money into buying their apartment. You raise any issue, and they counteract it with their “contact NHBC” standard phrase – NHBC, which is another sham,
2. Cleanliness and the fairview appointed RMG management company – the apartment block is managed by RMG and they literally have no interest in maintaining it well. When I moved in the lifts frequently broke – I had to move in too carrying my stuff up 9 floors one of the days. And the garbage all over the premises and the bin doors are broken forever, have never lived in London in a more unkempt premise. Even the streets are swept clean and maintained better. This is all due to fairview picking RMG, I do not know for what reason!
3. I purchased parking, but 8 months on still haven’t been provided with access control remotes to the gates. They just don’t seem to care about these basic things. People from all over harrow come and park in our supposedly private car park. The gates malfunction every second day. So much for security. Our parking gates/shutters have been broken for 2 months now! You can actually enter the parking lot, enter our building steal all the mailroom deliveries and walk out without needing access.
4. Substandard materials – literally everything, tubs, skinny vinyl flooring, kitchen countertops .. literally everything bad quality that looks good only in the show apartments and you begin to realise it once you live in.
5. We also have a cycle parking enclosure that has access control but you can put your hand in through the grill, and press the exit button and open it. Cycles being stolen is the ‘latest’ thing happening here.

The location of my apartment is great, right next to harrow on the hill high street

How badly managed the premise would be (RMG)
What is the best feature of your home:
The view and my balcony is great and the proximity to the station and the high street
Wallace house
I would like to have a gym as a facilities. I would definitely change our management. Very poor customer service! After you purchase the flat, they forget about you! When you send an email to ask them something is taking ages to have a response.

I really like the area, everything is very close to us. 2 malls, lidl, Primark, the station is just 3 minutes away.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
Cheap wall quality. Al the walls are not straight..is very difficult to buy something, we had to go for bespoke furniture
Good location – nice apartment
Amazing for connections to the city. Good building and management is quite responsive. Letting agents do most of the work.
Good options for shipping and eating out. Loads of different restaurants here

Good but need improvement
Quick access to the train station as well as to major shops and shopping centre. Community is very helpful and safe however sone pubs and nuisance around at weekends. The area is clean and not much pollution goes around.

The area is very pleasant
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the buildings will take a while to finish therefore all doorsorts and gates would not still be open and vulnerable to intruders.
Good building
I like the densign of the building. It’s simple but elegant. Inside flats are pretty similare but you have space for personalization. It seems well protected with many entrances needed pass and codes,
