A Great Development For Young Professionals

Furnished apartments comes with a lovely design and pretty good furniture, it’s simple and modern.
Very open plan.
The Kitchen/Living Room is very open and spacious. The kitchen has a large dishwasher, cupboards Space and separate space for the washer/dryer.
Bedrooms have plenty of space and storage. They are very light with a joint bathroom.
In terms of development, the parking lot seems to flood easy, but looks like they are trying to solve this.
Very good management, when encountering issues it was handled quickly given the current situation.
Reception staff seem lovely and friendly and always happy to help.
Facilities: Free Internet, built in gym, room in Daniels House to use for special occasions. Reception and Postal Room.
All in all, it is an amazing place to rent for the price in Leeds. And the extras that are included in the price is great. Seems to be a very good development for young professionals.

A few picky downsides, is that the rooms sometimes get quite hot due to the Dishwasher/washer/dryer and Oven, so we regularly have the balcony door and windows open.
The kitchen layout is a little unusual. The fridge sits next to the oven, so have to be careful with food placement in the fridge and not too sure where to put the bin without it being on the carpet.

Very close to shops, including crown point and Tesco express round the corner.
Close to town and easy access to the main roads.
Leeds Train Station is a 10 minute walk away, to the back entrance. Front entrance is about a 15 minute walk.
One downside about the area, high winds out the front, very similar to Bridgewater Place.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Depending on the placement of the Oven and Fridge, it warms up the side of the Fridge.
Can get very warm in the apartment if you have the Dishwasher/Washer-Dryer on as it’s open Plan.
Can sometimes hear neighbours when they are in the Hallway (Probably to be expected in these types of developments)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick to reply,
Issues are resolved fairly fast.
Great service all round no complaints.

Excellent development with transport links and access to shops, bars and restaurants

The development is wonderful – very modern but delightfully so. Flats are spacious and homey, with plenty of comfortable seating. We brought some of our own furniture with us – bookcases etc – and there’s plenty of space to fit these around the existing furniture. Balconies are spacious with good views over the city. Building and facilities management are excellent with queries replied to within good time and maintenance and cleaning done regularly. Parcels are particularly good – stored securely in a central location so they can be collected at any point. Wifi included with rent and bills are reasonably priced.

Good access to local amenities with a Tesco Express c.5 mins away and Morrisons and Aldi both ~20 mins walk. Close to city centre so excellent access to restaurants and transport, and most places are walkable. Also walking distance from Crown Point with more shops and restaurants.

Bills are very reasonably priced but switch suppliers upon moving to ensure maintaining the cheapest prices!

Not sure there is anything! Perhaps some balcony furniture included – being very nit picky!

Hands down the best balcony we could have hoped for; It’s huge, loads of room for table and chairs, plants, bike, etc.
The furniture all matches and feels stylish whilst still being comfortable, the dining table is big enough to happily seat four but the furniture never overwhelms the room.
The important thing is that they don’t provide microwave/kettle/toaster, or lampshades, but it means you can obviously bring your own and your own style to your living space.
Loads of storage space, especially in the kitchen cupboards and the triple wardrobe in the bedroom.
There’s a washer/dryer tucked away in a cupboard with just enough room to keep your ironing board and vacuum which is great, but theres enough to room to put a clothes horse on the balcony if preffered.
The gym is decently equipped and the post room feels secure (you get a specific code when you get parcel so you can’t just walk in), the 24/7 concierge is literally always there and try to answer all your questions.
The main thing is rent doesn’t include bills you’ll need to add on the price of water, electric, tv licence etc.

As the development is out of the city, it’s never going to be on top of amenities. However, the tesco round the corner (and the coffee shop next door) is convenient if a bit small. City centre and all the shops are maybe a 20 minute walk away, and there is a retail park maybe 15 minutes in the other direction.
Surprisingly there is some loud cars/bikes at night, but there’s never traffic as the area is a bit out of the way, and feel pretty safe walking around at night.
We also hear the trains occasionally but its hardly a big deal and definately worth it to be fairly close to the station.
Overall its a great location if you don’t want to be in the center of town.

You’ll need some extension leads and lampshades, and there is some noise at night even though it’s not the center. You soon get used to it but it can be annoying.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

The balcony floor and walls seem they will stain quite easily; a gloss polish or splashblack extending over the whole kitchen might be better.

Nice new development. Right in the city centre. Apartments are compact but have everything you need and loads of great facilities. Kitchens are quite small and don’t have much cupboard space. Staff have been helpful and obliging and move in process was smooth.

Right in the city centre with easy access to the train station, shops and bars. Great transport links to surrounding areas and cities nationally.

Apartments are nice and soundproofed – can’t heat neighbours at all from inside the flat

Design of the apartments are great, as are the common areas. Havent had chance to use the gym facilities yet. The underground parking is spacious but tens to flood as there is not cover across the whole space. Building management is good normally, attentive and knowledgable facilities staff but front desk and complaints arent handled as best they could be.

Great links to the city and close enough to smaller shops (Tesco) Also if you drive its immediately off the motorway so cuts a lot of time when travelling to and from the city.

Buy extension leads, decorate your balcony! Its a great outdoor space.

Needs more plug sockets! Not enough in the right places, needs a lot of extensions leads especially in the living area.

Flat designed well, great light and space. Furniture isn’t great, wouldve preferred some flexibility.

Management team doing the best they can but not as responsive as would have expected.

Facilities (car parking and courtyard) generally good but car park isnt 100% sheltered so water drainage needs improvement.

Short walk into town and close to the corporate offices in Leeds. Tesco close by, restaurants and bars a short walk and short walk to train station.

The neighbours are not all young professionals. Some are groups of lads who smoke off their balcony.

Fantastic spacious apartments, very clean and open plan design that doesn’t waste any space, as some city centre apartments do… On site gym and free coffee for residents is great.

Concierge and the property mgt. team are very helpful.

Great proximity to Leeds City Centre, only 7 mins walk to Leeds Train Station. Very good for walks down the canal and close to Crown Point shopping centre and all city centre shops. Only downside of Sweet St. is that is is up and coming and some surrounding parts are still slightly run down.

The environment in the building is wonderful and the staff are extremely helpful. Had a couple of issues with water and the fridge and within a couple of hours, maintenance was up fixing the issue. During covid, they have had cleaners constantly cleaning the lifts and have hand sanitiser all over the building! The flat is lovely and extremely big, especially for a one bed

There is a local Tescos and it’s about a 5-10 min walk from the station and the centre of town

Absolutely nothing. All questions were answered and the place is exactly as described

Extremely efficient and quick, maintenance come within hours and problems have been fixed within 24 hours. Maintenance staff are extremely lovely and very helpful

Leodis Square is a very impressive complex of apartments that have been designed with tenants in mind. The apartments use space effectively and are modern. There are helpful amenities, such as the gym and parcel service that make life convenient.

Very impressed with the design of the building especially with the size of each flat, particularity the balcony size is brilliant! All the furnishings are really modern and nice perfect for a city centre flat.

I haven’t had chance to use the facilities such as the gym or the shared kitchen area as of yet but I’m glad they are included in our rent.

Very close to restaurants, pubs (especially Northern Monk!) and shops also to the city centre where there is everything you need.

Parking should not get flooded when it rains-i do not understand why it is not completely enclosed.
Would have preferred no carpet in living area.
Good size bedrooms and excellent closet space.

Just finished modern build, everything is brand new and clean. Cleaners clean hallways and lifts fairly regularly. Easy to access bin area in the lift without having to go outside. Private gym and meeting area which is currently out of use due to coronavirus but looks really good. Flats really nice, soft carpets, high quality furniture and the bathrooms are really well lit and white. The blinds and curtains are a bit weird though.

10 minute walk into town/the train station which is great. 5 minute walk to tesco which is on the way to/from city centre so convenient on way to/from work.

Some building work happening near by which can make some weird noises but always after 9am

A really homely space with soft carpets/beds/sofas where I can relax.

The onsite building management team is very friendly and helpful. There is usually a friendly face on the concierge desk. The parcel room is handy which sends you a notification and code to access the room when you have a delivery. We haven’t been able to use the onsite gym but it looks well equipped. My one bed flat is furnished to a high standard with a decent sized balcony.

Very good location. Just a short walk to the city centre and main train station. Also close to the motorway for access to the M62 and M1.

Some flats don’t have dishwashers, so you’ll need to check before you move in.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Overall I’m very content with the property. The bathroom could do with a towel rail as there is nowhere to hang towels besides in the shower. The car park spaces are quite tight and narrow and as a result I had to change space due to the size of the car. Also an extra £100 for parking is an added cost.

The property management is amazing, the staff here are incredible! I’ve had such good experience when anything has gone wrong / I’ve had any questions, someone has jumped to our help and done whatever they could to resolve the issues. They’re a massive credit to the complex. I love the size of the balconies – they’re pretty much the biggest balconies you see in Leeds which makes you feel so much better having that extra outdoor space.

We’re close to the canal, white rose shopping centre and the city centre so there’s plenty to do and so. The dislikes would have to be the lack of supermarkets nearby and the area behind the development next to Halfords – it’s a bit of an eye sore!

That there wasn’t a socket behind the sofa – in your show flats there was a lamp which we actually bought to place in the same place, only to find no socket! So that was slightly misleading.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Absolutely incredibly! The most helpful maintenance, the main guy in our block is SO lovely and goes above and beyond to sort any issues out!

Love the design, makes me feel as though I’m living in a Spanish condo! our floor rises above other buildings so get a lovely view of the Leeds horizon at night! The staff are all really friendly and as soon as a problem is reported they fix it! the flat itself is gorgeous and we didn’t need to do much to make it look absolutely fab! Love that we are allowed to paint the walls!

Love that it’s close to town, and my work. Tescos is right around the corner for any last minute bits! the only thing that could be considered a downfall is its proximity to the red light district.

The viewing was very thorough, so everything was pretty much explained!

Our apartment is beautifully designed. Everything in the apartment is modern and great quality. We haven’t been able to use facilities such as the gym and function room yet due to Covid, but it all looks great from viewing it! The concierge service and parcel room is extremely useful as we work long shifts. The safe underground parking is great too. Maintenance were extremely quick to fix a small issue we had with the oven.

There aren’t that many shops and restaurants close by, but town is only a 10 minute walk away. Tesco express is only a few mins away for any essentials.

Bills have been difficult to organise because it’s a new property and the electricity meters are not registered on the national database yet – get them sorted quickly after you move in!

What is the best feature of your home:

The full-length balcony and the view from it. It’s a bigger balcony than any other we saw in Leeds.

I moved into this building a month ago and have enjoyed every minute! The location is great and in walking distance from all the shops and bars in Leeds city centre!

The concierge staff are very helpful and have answered any queries we may have.

The design of the flats, look and feel are excellent. Mine is fully furnished, contemporary and modern furniture, fixture and fittings. Safe and secure Car parking was also key, so the underground car park behind gates is fantastic. I would not have taken the flat without this. Although lots of flats on the development it is remarkably quiet, with great neighbours.
I haven’t yet used the gym but excellent facilities and propert management so far has been great as well.

The flats are in a great area, 10 minute walk into the City Centre. The development is clearly on the edge of the city but as the city limits are being gentrified the surrounding area will almost certainly improve. This development will help in creating the regeneration of the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My big concern was possible noise, but it’s really quiet and well insulated (windows and carpets).
I didn’t appreciate just how much I would enjoy living here and the ease of this build to rent model. Eg having instant internet, maintenance on tap, brand new flat and fixtures and fittings, the whole model is geared to the tenant.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

More storage space for hoover etc and an on-demand boiler so the huge water tank could be dispensed with.
A stand-alone freezer and proper towel rails (heated) in the bathrooms.

The development is really nice and full of friendly tenants and staff. We love the consierge service and the gym has excellent equipment. Our apartment has really good quality furniture and we love the long balcony, that feels like an extra room to the apartment.
