Welcome to luxury living! 😂 No high-speed internet, filthy and mouldy corridors, unfinished areas everywhere, and a lift that works whenever it feels like it. The builders seem to be doing their best to keep the repair bills going by damaging the lifts along the way. Efficiency at its finest! The intercom is missing, too, so if you don’t know the entry code, good luck letting your friends or family know you’re waiting at the front door. Meanwhile, couriers keep marking deliveries as “nobody home” because they can’t ring individual flats. Apparently, we’re expected to develop telepathy as part of the tenancy. And just when you thought things couldn’t get any better… THE RATS ARE BACK! 🐀 Because every luxury development deserves its own wildlife attraction, right? The windows on the second and third floors are already completely knackered, too. Clearly, quality control was invited to the project but never actually showed up. Unfinished areas, mould, unreliable lifts, missing intercoms, returning rats and windows that are already past their best. What a fantastic collection of features! At this point, calling it a work in progress would be generous. It’s more like a never-ending episode of DIY SOS, except nobody seems to be coming to save us. Five-star location, if you ignore the five-star list of problems. ⭐😂

I mean, what is the point of having a lift if the builders keep switching it off for absolutely no reason? The building is also so, so dirty, which really adds to the luxury living experience. Then there’s the internet — or the complete lack of proper internet. I even emailed management asking them to arrange Virgin Media installation. It’s free for the owner, as Virgin doesn’t charge landlords for installation, but apparently even that is too much to ask. Still no parking either, of course. And I completely agree with everyone regarding the finishing — honestly, a child with a paintbrush could probably do a better job. Maybe the builders should consider hiring one.

These people are absolute cowboys. Calling them “builders” is honestly being extremely generous. The quality of the workmanship is so unbelievably poor that you genuinely have to wonder whether anyone involved has ever actually completed a construction project before. The painting is atrocious, the plasterboard and walls are finished to an appalling standard, there are gaps everywhere, and the lines are so uneven that a five-year-old with a paintbrush could probably do a better job. The finishing is genuinely embarrassing. The footpath is another masterpiece of incompetence. It appears to consist largely of rocks and rubble, with no proper concrete or suitable finished surface. If you use a wheelchair, mobility scooter or have any mobility issues, good luck. This building is about as wheelchair-friendly as a mountain trail. They advertised that the building would be completed by spring 2026. We are now almost at the end of summer, and looking at the current state of the place, I would be genuinely surprised if they managed to finish it by the end of 2027. At this rate, perhaps they should stop advertising completion dates altogether and just say: “Coming eventually.” Only one of the lifts is working, the walls are dirty and damaged, areas are unfinished, and countless jobs have either been left half-done or completed to a standard that would be embarrassing even for a DIY project. It has the appearance of a building site that someone simply forgot to finish. I have serious concerns about whether all relevant regulations, standards and requirements have actually been followed. Looking at some of the workmanship, I would not be surprised if certain regulations were treated as optional suggestions. You see these kinds of companies on television being exposed as “cowboy builders”. If this development were ever featured on one of those programmes, I honestly would not be surprised. The workmanship is shockingly poor, the finishing is disgraceful, and the whole place gives the impression that the developers ran out of time, money, competence—or possibly all three. This is not what anyone should reasonably expect from a modern development. It is unfinished, poorly executed, poorly maintained and, in many areas, simply embarrassing.

My development has been a very positive experience. It is a clean, safe, and peaceful place to live. The neighbourhood is well maintained, and the people are friendly and respectful. There are good facilities, such as parks, shops, and easy transport links, which make daily life convenient. I enjoy living here because it is comfortable, welcoming, and a great place for families. Overall, I am very happy with my development and would recommend it to others

I have had a very positive experience living at Haredon House. The management team is always professional, friendly, and quick to help whenever needed. The letting agency has been excellent from the beginning, making everything easy and providing great communication throughout. The cleaning team does a fantastic job keeping the communal areas clean, tidy, and well maintained. The building is looked after to a high standard, which makes it a pleasant place to live. I would also like to compliment the construction company for the quality of their work and their professionalism. Everyone I have dealt with has been polite, respectful, and committed to doing a great job. Overall, I highly recommend Haredon House to anyone looking for a well-managed, clean, and welcoming place to live.
