Thinking of moving here? Don’t.. just don’t! As it stands, it’s an absolute cesspit. - Issues with homeless and other undesirables gaining access - broken main door that often sticks open - major leaks from the roof and pipes that never get fixed -act of arson -stale urine on the stairs -bin room was an environmental health risk (until I took matters into my own hands) - lifts are a total death trap, one hasn’t worked in the entire time I’ve been here and the other is forever breaking.. this is a 6 floor building.. If you’re disabled, you’ve had it! - no concierge, theft of parcels and damage caused by students and Airbnb's is rife! - the cleaner / caretaker may as well not exist, the building doesn’t even get vacuumed unless I do it myself, let alone receive any level of maintenance! And this is just the tip of the iceberg!! Things were that bad I actually started to do some maintenance myself.. not just to benefit me, but others living here, I’ve made a few amazing friends and they have all said they appreciate what I’ve attempted to do here! I absolutely gutted and disinfected the bin room, repaired the broken external doors to eliminate the severe rat infestation. Washed all the carpets in the hallways in the surrounding area and also fixed the maglock on the door from the underground carpark as this was where access was gained by the arsonists! I’ve actually been asked by some residents if I’d ever consider becoming the building caretaker officially.. honestly, if Centrick ditched whoever the hell they’ve got doing it right now and offered me the job I’d do it in a heartbeat! Things would change around here massively! The people that actually own properties in here and pay the service and private renters deserve so much better! I work full time and I’ve managed to achieve so much more than the caretaker that has this as their sole job! After 3 months of absolute hell, I’ve managed to force my landlord into agreeing early termination of my contract, as this isn’t what I signed up for! I am in the process of moving to a new apartment block and honestly it’s like night and day, it’s kept spotlessly clean and is extremely well maintained! It’s such a shame as the apartments themselves are amazing and the building has great potential if cared for by the right people. Centrick.. if you read this (I doubt it somehow) If you seriously want at least one of your buildings to be maintained properly, well cared and kept clean and hygienic, then get in touch with me! Let me work it around my current job, pay me what you pay the current caretaker and I can assure you, you’ll see a marked difference in the way your building is cared for and you’ll achieve far better value for money for the level of work I put in! I used to run a commercial cleaning business and still have all the equipment, machines and the highest possible grade cleaning chemicals (which I’ve been using around Granville while living here) to keep things in good order! I’m being extremely sincere here.. Talk to some of your residents, I think they’ll all compliment my work somehow and would really appreciate you letting me look after the place offically! I used to live in Watermarque, which again is ran by Centrick and that place is top notch, so well maintained, has a concierge facility and Andy the cleaner is so passionate about what he does.. So why has Granville Lofts been totally abandoned?! Again, I’m here for talks if you want to up the ante and make a stepped change in the management of GL for the benefit of not only your residents, but also for your business. You have some really amazing people living here, please don’t treat them with utter contempt!

More security and security cameras. My door Matt got stolen outside my flat. Also had problems with fridge , oven and intercom and hot water. Lots of teething problems but have finally all been resolved now. Happy living here but not sure about being here long term.

The development itself is very nice. The interior and exterior of the apartment looks super. Transport links are great as it is in one of the main hub, center of the city. Property could be maintained a bit better. There needs to be some security cameras to enhance security.

The complex is modern with plenty of space. The flats are very spacious and are easy to customise. Our balcony has a great view of the city skyline but it's too noisy. The elevators are never too busy and the car parking situation is more than ideal.

I love the location and flat itself but I find it weird we don’t have a reception area. Not only got security reasons ( I think we need a security guard with the recent break ins) but also parcels are often dumped anywhere in the foyer meaning they go missing! A simple reception desk/security would solve these issues!
