Convenient location for commute

Verified Resident

Well the overall stay is perfect neat and tidy, hassle free. I must say it is the best place to stay in East London by far, I feel quite satisfied living here, it is also near Stratford station, which I find very convenient.

If there was one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be?

Concierge should take bigger parcels as at the moment he takes only the small ones

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Well nothing to dislike about the area everything is perfect, you get tesco, commute almost everything

Vibrant area with well organized living spaces

Verified Resident

It is a well managed building ,it also feels very secure because of the gates , the view from my flat is lovely, you can see beyond 02 Arena, my flat overlooks West Ham recreation centre and West Ham stadium. My flat is spacious, open plan and you can have mini sections arranged within it, for example, on one side you can put a desk and make it look like a working space. My only dislike is that I can hear the sirens from the police cars and the ambulances from the high road and this noise sometimes wakes me up at night.

If there was one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be?

I would like the kitchen to be separate from the living room

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is nice and there are many cool restaurants and cafes on the high road with vibrant nightlife taking place. You can always get to Westfields shopping centre and to the food court there. The development is only a few minutes walk away from West Ham and the bus stops are pretty close to here too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I expected the windows to be slightly bigger, however, I still get enough light when it is sunny, so it is not a major issue.

Safe building with awesome views

Verified Resident

I’ve actually lived here for fours years so obviously I really love Halo! The neighbours are so friendly and so are the concierge, so I feel so very comfortable here. The concierge are also really helpful and are the first people I go to if I have a problem in my flat. The building has cool facilities including a gym. It also have a secure place to store motorbikes which is really important for us.
The whole clean and modern design of the development runs into the flat as well and everything looks very slick. The best thing is without a doubt the views- seeing the Olympic Park everyday is very special.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised?

Of course after 4 years her we’ve had a few small issues, but the management team are fairly efficient and normally really quick to solve anything.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The shopping centre is great and it’s very cool to have the Olympic park so close. I find this area safe and easy to get around because the transport is pretty good around here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I knew the flat didn’t come with a balcony but I wish it did! That would be awesome (or at least wish it had air-conditioning).

Modern building with great facilities

Verified Resident

This place is easily accessible and is modern. The gym is great and the 24 hour concierge is really handy, and they’re all very friendly. They handle post and deliveries and are always the first line of contact when there are any problems.

Regarding my flat, it came furnished to a great standard, and we were able to move a few pieces of furniture around so suit out needs. There are of windows which obviously offer great views but this also means it gets very hot in the summer since there is no AC. On the plus side, the insulation is great, so we don’t really use the heating in the winter, so this means cheaper bills!

One bad point is definitely the very noise if the road traffic.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised?

The concierge are actually more helpful than the management team.
Management are slow with contact. For example when as it gets colder, the hot water becomes slow meet and this affects the whole tower. There were lots of complaints and eventually they sorted it.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love being close to the Olympic lark. There are always new developments popping up around the area which I like, because it means more amenities will also come to the area. At the moment, I travel to central London for socialising and activities. i think there are more restaurants and bars around near the Park and on the East Side but that’s lacking slightly around here. The existing transport links are pretty good, there are lots of trains and buses to chose from, so it’s easy to get into Central London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is really nothing that I can wish I’d known.

Very well maintained development, I feel happy living here

Verified Resident

In terms of facilities we have a gym, a concierge who is really good, he takes the small parcels and we normally collect them from the reception desk. We have three lifts and they are very well maintained. The community is awesome, the neighbours are very considerate.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised?

It is quite easy to get issues fixed around here. It is a specific person like a property manager we can contact when there is an issue. He is responsible for all maintenance issues, including the functionality of the lift.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It is quite convenient area in terms of transport , it is quite safe and not too noisy. Tesco express is just next to the building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everyone is really helpful here, the concierge is amazing

It’s good

Halo is really modern and clean and I love living here. It’s great that it has a gym and I try to use this as much as possible. You can pay a daily rate for parking, which is fine, and it also has very secure bike storage. The concierge are friendly and attentive, and for me, it’s a great benefit to have them there as it makes me feel more safe in the area. The management team are a bit slow to respond to emails, but once they get back in contact, the issue gets fixed quickly.

If there was one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be?

The flat can get got very hot in the summer because of all the glass. I would love to have air-con.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that the Westfield shopping centre is close and the area also has good transport with different underground and railway links.
However it’s not very safe around and there isn’t no a huge sense of community due to the lack of amenities such as pubs and restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I can’t think of anything. It was all pretty clear before I moved in and has been as expected since then.

Great concierge service

Verified Resident

The development is fine and has everything I need. The gym is pretty good, and the concierge are really great. They’re helpful and it’s good to know our post is always deliveries to them when I’m out working. My flat is pretty decent, it has all the appliances such as a dishwasher and machine and it’s all nice and modern. It’s a good size as well. However my current flat is on the road side of the development and is therefore very loud unfortunately.

What is the best feature of your home?

I really like having an en-suite, it makes a difference when you’re sharing a flat.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I don’t like Stratford very much, it doesn’t have a great atmosphere. There aren’t really any great shops very close to Halo, only the Tesco express. The station is a bit far so now I mostly cycle around here because the bus is slow. If you do want a bus, the stop is just outside the development which I guess is handy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the transport and the buses in particular are so bad.

Unbeatable views

The best thing about the development is definitely the facilities. I use the gym a lot and it’s always kept clean. There is also a great communal area on each floor. The services offered are good as well, such as the 24 hour concierge team who are always helpful. l love my flat- it’s a good size and nicely furnished.

What is the best feature of your home?

Without a doubt it’s the views. I love that they are uninterrupted and there are no other big buildings in the way, or blocking the views.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I really like being close to the Shopping Mall and Stratford station. The local area has plenty of amenities which are all close and easy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s actually nothing I can think of that I wished I knew before.

Noisy but nice apartment

Verified Resident

The apartment is lovely – it’s spacious, well designed but feels pleasantly cosy. I love the view. The building management is good – they fix things quickly. I feel very safe living here – the concierge is 24/7 and they are always nice and helpful.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I hate the noise but I like being close to the Olympic Park

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The blinds are really bad – they don’t keep out any light and this is especially annoying as I work nights.

I don’t love Stratford but I do love my flat

Verified Resident

I love my apartment. It is massive and spacious and light. I literally have a 1700 sqft one bed flat that is just really nice. There is a good concierge too. To sum it up, I love the flat but I don’t love stratford.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

What I like is that it is less built than the city. It’s not green but there is queen elizabeth Olympic park nearby, the transport is good and it is well connected. Things I dislike is the crime rate and the homeless people around. Down one alley nearby there is a row of tents with people living in them and there does not seem to be much going on by the council to help these people.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is a little annoying – not too bad but no really good accessibility or parking lot.
