Living in E20 is genuinely convenient - you can walk to Stratford and Stratford International in minutes, with loads of buses and quick links across London. Westfield is close for supermarkets, gyms and essentials. It is busy at peak times and you will hear traffic and occasional event noise, but overall it feels safe and well lit.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very fast and friendly - getliving maintenance team usually resolve things on the same or next day!

The flat can get very warm as the buildings are really well insulated! But this is a good thing

The local area is really nice - a lot of restaurants and small shops. The space itself is really well kept and nicely designed.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management review and fix any issue within 1-2 days, truly next level service!

The soundproofing between flats is so good - you never hear any of your neighbours!

The village is in a really convenient location with great public transport links. Westfield has everything you could possibly need within walking distance, and the village itself has some great independent cafes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The maintenance team are always quick to respond. Sometimes resolving issues can require more than one visit
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
East London energy is very expensive and much of the cost is a standing charge which isn’t linked to your usage

Great local shops and restaurants nearby, although they are quite expensive! Transport links are pretty good! Lots of phone thefts in the area, and packages being stolen. But there is a great community!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, for small issues, these are solved very quickly, for big issues they do take a lot longer to solve.

I wish I knew about all of the community! I only found out about it a while after so I missed out on a lot of community events!

East Village gives off a really strong community vibe and there are many ways in which locals can interact with each other - gyms, classes, social groups (pets, running etc) and many lovely cafes and restaurants. The transport links from Stratford, Stratford International, and Hackney Wick in particular make getting around very easy. One negative is the antisocial behaviour with many reports of phone thefts in the area sadly.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have responded reasonably quickly to minor issues, although larger problems tend to take a bit longer to sort out
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known more about the community groups that exist before I moved in, but it is relatively easy to be added to those on WhatsApp and then to stay in touch about events and community news.
