Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I like living in my local area. Aldi is just across the road of Corkfield, which means I do not need a car to do my grocery shopping. MAC is also just a 5-minute walk away, that also means I can get my art and cultural things in the vicinity without having to travel to the city centre. Public transport to the city centre is quite convenient as there are a few buses available. Even when taking a cab, the fare is quite reasonable. I work at the University of Birmingham. When I do not want to take a bus, a walk of 40 minutes max will take me to the campus. It is particularly refreshing when walking in the nice summer weather with my own music on playing to my eyes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Responsive. Once I have a semi-urgent problem to solve, they managed to solve it within one day, which I really appreciate.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I cannot think of any. However, I am very glad that a fitness centre will be opened next month at Corkfield, which is truly am excellent addition to this wonderful apartment estate.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area is very nice. Cannon Hill Park is a short 10-minute walk away so you can enjoy fresh air, especially in summer, and for fans of cricket, the Edgbaston Stadium is right next door making it easy to enjoy a game. There is an Aldi grocery store across the street, making shopping for food very convenient, and there are plenty of bus stations in the area to connect you with Birmingham city center and other areas like the University of Birmingham. Overall, this is a calm and quiet area of the city, perfect for enjoying more open spaces that are less crowded.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management responded to issues such as maintenance requests in a timely manner the majority of the time and when issues could not be resolved quickly they engage with you to find a suitable solution and even rent compensation if necessary. Overall issues were resolved in a professional manner.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Corkfield is ideally located, 1 mile down the hill from the restaurants, bars and music festivals of Moseley, just along the road from the brilliant food and breweries in Stirchley, and with easy access into town by bus along Pershore Road or Bristol Road. We often walk over the road to Cannon Hill Park and visit the MAC, or have a drink there. And it’s a short walk to Moseley Park and Pool. (Subscribe for key, it’s well worth it!) The atmosphere during major cricket matches is amazing, and worth the moderate disruption to car park access on match days for our space in the North Car Park
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There is always someone on site. The are all unfailingly friendly and cannot do enough to help
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Don’t worry about noise carrying between apartments; it doesn’t! Block A apartments have a different address and postcode than the main Corkfield reception. If you live in Block A, be sure to use the correct address. If you live in Block B, be prepared to get post for your neighbours in Block A. It’s easy to be a good neighbour by passing it on.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great location, so close to city centre but also has 5 minute walking access to huge green park space. Shops available on both sides of the road from the building including an ALDI. Bins are well managed and haven’t noticed any noise issues since moving in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Wesley and the rest of the team have been amazing. He gave us a tour of the facility when we first enquired and answered all our questions with no difficulty. Since moving in all issues have been addressed ASAP and have had no bad interactions with the staff. Wesley and the staff should be praised for their commitment to providing amazing services!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Parking isn’t included with rent, it’s a separate agreement with different options available.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Having a Aldi next door is really convenient, with a pure gym opening up soon (august 2025). Good road connection through the A38 to get you in and out of Birmingham and the ring road to assist you getting to other areas of the city. some good bus connection around the site. Next to the Edgbaston cricket stadium, which if you love cricket I'm sure you'll like it. but this does mean that the car park is inaccessible on match days so you will need to organise your car use around that. it is on the pricier sides of rents and they do ask to check income when organising tenancy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
reasonably quickly, though as with anything involving human interaction response times may vary.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
As most of the apartments only have windows on one side, circulating air and cooling the apartment can be difficult.
