Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is in such a prime area, very easy to get around! There is a grocery store just opposite the front door along with a 200 acre park. I don't hear any traffic noise which is wonderful, the amenities are brilliant and very well organised! The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, I cannot recommend this building enough to anyone and everyone!!!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't had any problems per say. Anything I've brought up with the staff has quickly been "resolved" meaning they answered promptly and effectively to ease my mind!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The one thing I wish I'd had known was the "lack" (not always accessible) of trolleys! When I moved in, luckily my stuff was in rollable suitcases but I had my cats as well and it just took a bit more to get everything sorted. I just wish there were a few more that residents could use !

Manager response

Hi Katrina, We are so pleased that you chose to live at Corkfield when moving to Birmingham from Canada. It has been our pleasure to help you and we hope that you continue to enjoy your time here!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Corkfield is perfectly situated if you want a mix of city living and out of town. Halfway between Moseley and Stichley, 10 mins off the bus to the city centre and across the road from Cannon Hill Park.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So far, so good. We've not had any. The team is always on-hand when you need them and are ready to help.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Access to the North Carpark when a cricket match is on!

Manager response

Hi! We are so pleased that you are loving living at Corkfield! And thanks for the pup petting sessions - we're enjoying welcoming Rea to the Corkfield family :-)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very good facilities on site. Prime location, close to Cannon Hill Park. Parking available for everyone and their guests.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I've got very quick respond and action to my issues from management team.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not always but sometimes you hear too much noise from the street (Motorbikes in Summers).

Manager response

Hi Ehsan, Thank you for leaving a great review for Corkfield. The team make every effort to welcome all and make everyone feel at home :-) The 8th floor terrace is very popular - a great place for entertaining and watching the cricket!!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Amazing location next to Canon Hill Park, Aldi, cricket stadium and Puregym opening soon. Easy to get into the centre of Birmingham or further afield.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded and resolved issues quickly. Very happy with the building management.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the heating system is inadequate for the apartments, and as a result the electricity bills are much higher than anticipated

Manager response

Thank you for your review Grace :-) We are currently getting quotes for additional seating for the terrace so watch this space! We're sorry that you are finding the heating isn't sufficient in the winter (but glad that is cool in the summer!!) - we'd love to be able to resolve this and are looking into it. The bin stores are an ongoing problem - the ongoing bin workers strike does not help the matter and we are doing what we can to educate residents as not everyone puts their rubbish in the bin unfortunately. We do check them daily and additional collections are being made to try and manage it as best we can. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other suggestions on areas we can improve on!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

we're in a very greatly positioned area , close to moseley village and next door to the best park ever

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have always helped with knowing things and parcels and if I report any cleansing issues they get on it right away

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not really. Although we had been told from day one about cricket games the parking is a bit of an issue but as I said we had been informed

Manager response

Hi! Thank you for leaving a great review - the team do enjoy making Corkfield a welcoming place for all our residents to call home :-)
