Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is quiet. Lovely community. The street is clean and looked after. The area has a range of shops that are very convenient. Transport is well connected. Some traffic sound, but nothing to complain about.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded quickly, with action. Our extractor fan needed some work and they arranged everything - quickly, coinciding with my personal weekly plan. They have also arranged for certain areas to be re-painted in the flat, keeping the space to the best possible standard. They are extremely friendly and hard working. They add that extra piece of community to the building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If possible, I would have loved to have known more about the community area outside the building and how to get involved in upcoming nights such as BINGO etc. Sounds like there could be some fun nights. And also just good to get to know the residents in the area.

Very nice and beautiful area. All the shops, restaurants, and stations are nearby, making it a very comfortable and convenient location. The surroundings are clean and well-maintained, and it’s a great place to go for a run or do some outdoor exercise. The concierge team is excellent — especially Lia, who is always very helpful, professional, and friendly. Whenever anyone needs assistance, she’s always there, no matter what. I’m very happy to have moved to Balfron Tower. Thank you! 🙏

Quick and efficient. Always very helpful and efficient.

I am really satisfied with everything and I do recommend this place to my friends.

The local area around Balfron Tower has a nice mix of shops, cafés and restaurants, though not everything is right on your doorstep — you sometimes need to walk a bit further for variety. The transport links are very convenient with the DLR and buses nearby, which makes getting around London easy. The street itself is generally quiet, with occasional traffic noise but nothing too disruptive. Parking is limited, but bin collections run smoothly and the neighbourhood feels safe overall.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues I’ve raised have been dealt with quickly and professionally. the Resident Host Team has been especially helpful and approachable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One tip for new neighbours is to ask more about the common spaces in the building — they’re beautifully designed and actually really handy for relaxing, working, or even meeting people, but you don’t realise their potential just from a quick viewing. Also, if you get the chance, join the tour of the designer’s room. It’s a great way to understand the history and design story of Balfron Tower, and it makes living here feel even more special.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The building and the development itself is amazing. We really enjoy living in one or Erno’s creations it feels like a dream sometimes! The downside I will say is maybe traffic noise at times because it is right next to a Main Street and there are not many transport links

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So we basically wanted to change the preexisting sofa that came with the flat and thought of maybe changing it for the winter months and the manager was super sweet he told me they could even take care of the removal! Also Lia and Barbara are just amazing at everyday encounters they make my day and overall give such a positive warm vibe to the building !

Maybe location wise it is not the best but honestly we can manage! Staff is amazing (go Lia!) + she deserves a raise as she lit is the most active. When I wake up sometimes at 6 she’s already moving and checking things around! And if we don’t see her to say hi , we can know she was there because of her perfume that stays in all of the corridors! Really gratefull to have her around here!!!

It’s really nice that surrounding to me looks save and peace. It’s also really convenient to approach DLR and Lidl.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I appreciated that as soon as I raised the questions, they come within hours and helps with the issues.

I’d like to know how to turn on all of the utilities in the flat more earlier.
