Development is recently constructed so no moles and nothing even team does inventory check in before handing over the apartment and if anything is faulty they do repairs and then give it to you.You would find everything perfect here. Thanks for wonderful place.

I would say it is the best place to stay in that to in City Center with all the amenities and to do socialize. Traffic noise is not even much but you can see a beautiful view outside balcony.

I wasn’t aware about the social practices followed so nicely. I was told that they arrange get to get hers which I thought it is just for sake of doing it but it was actually meant and followed.

I was responded to all the queries raised immediately. Mr Abu also helped on the day we came here for the stay. Mattress was missing so when informed Mr Kishore he Immediately arranged to get the new one.
Excellent property
It’s a well constructed design having all necessary facilities in the apartment building. The property management are very helpful, especially Kishor Tahilani, who always welcomes with a smiling face, listens to residents queries. I would definitely recommend this property to anyway who wish to stay near Birmingham city centre.

The apartment is right in the city centre next to mailbox, all the facilities are available nearby. There is no downside of staying in this location.

No, I never had any issues while staying in the apartment.
Best building next to the city center.
The building and the furniture all look in good condition. The colors in the studio are neutral so it is perfect.
The carpet is very soft. The balcony is huge and the view from the balcony is amazing.
The chairs in the flat look a bit old and not in very good condition. It would be great if they could provide new ones.

The city center is so close to the building.
You will have a mailbox (restaurants, bars, shopping stores) less than 5 minutes by walk. The train station is just less than 10 minutes away.
You also have a library and the metro between 2-3 minutes by walk.
The street near the building is clean and safe. You can exit from the parking by walk or with your car.
The building is near a road so you might hear some traffic sounds but it doesn’t me bother much that much. Furthermore, if you close the door, you don’t hear that much.

Good : Parcel room, club room and Gym, loved it
I have not viewed the apartment in person before moving however here are few things I did not expect :
-The co-working place is not very big and not private. It is a open space and close to the concierge and the gym. I planned to work in the co-working thinking it will be in a quiet place and soundproof. It is a bit disappointed as if you are working from home and wish to use a space in the building.
-The bathroom tiles floor need to be regularly cleaned so it can be get easily dirty with time.

Everything was raised quickly. They will phone you directly so the management team can come and resolve your issue
The best place to live in Birmingham
The design of this place is incredible. I live in a studio which is very well planned and designed. The place almost resembles a one bedroom house.
The views are breathtaking from my apartment which is on the 21st floor. It can get a bit noisy sometimes because of the prime location but the windows are sound proofed so that’s not much trouble. Overall it’s a wonderful place.

I don’t think there are any bad aspects. The good ones are that the place is very well connected, everything is within walking distance.

The one thing I should have known before I moved to the UK was that London is overrated and this place is much better to live in. Especially when you compare the rent and properties in London to here, this place is just so much better for the same price.

They are incredibly helpful and friendly. They always stop by as soon as the problem is reported. Their customer service is very good.

Outstanding
The building and apartments are well designed. Every aspects and spaces are thought through. The soundproof and management team are amazing. It’d be perfect if the reception and seating area were more spacious as it can get a little too busy and crowded.

I’ve only been here for 2 months but so far love living here. The place is at walking distance of everything (shops, restaurants, transports, etc..) . The street is quiet and secured. The area is busy but not too noisy.
The only bad thing is that the address is not well known so it’s a little complicated for deliveries.

The building management responded quickly, they try their best to help me solve any problem.
Great flats to rent
Contemporary design with great management. Main features are the parcel room, gym and residents lounge. I only needed maintenance services once, but I was happy that the problem was sorted promptly. The flats are well designed with amazing balconies, but the major downside is the small kitchens with comically small fridges which means you would have to shop more frequently and buy small amounts of groceries each time to fit in the fridge.

The best feature about Aston Place is the location. It is located in the city centre within five minutes walking distance to New Street station, Victoria square and Bullring shopping centre. This means all your needs are covered. The only downside is that it may be a bit noisy on some weekends or on days there are parades/protests. However, those are rare occurrences and would not discourage me from recommending Aston Place.

Parking is an extra charge, 100 per month for Crowne Plaza parking and 150 per month for the Aston Place parking. If that’s too much, you can consider other nearby options for parking, for example The Cube offers parking spaces at 80 pounds per month (2 minutes walking distance to Aston Place).

I only had one incident when the washing machine in my flat suddenly stopped working. I alerted the management team, it was replaced with another washing machine within 48 hours. Excellent service.

Good experience so far
The employees are very polite and profesional, and also the entire experience of living here feels quite nice. I haven’t had any problems with them and when I’ve needed something they kindly helped me with my request. I haven’t participated on the activities that the development shares with the tenants, but is very nice to see the effort that they put to maintain the community together.

I love living in this area. I can have long walks with my dogs around and I feel very safe. Also, is just 5 min walk to the train station so is very handy for traveling.

That we don’t have parking spots for guests that coming to visit, as a free parking spot for them. In my prior home I had free parking spot for guest by 4 hours, then they have to pay. (I don’t know if I explain it well enough haha)

The property is a brand new, well designed, luxurious development with great facilities and social interaction activities. The staff are professional and always helpful. The property is situated in the heart of the town centre, surrounded by shopping, restaurants, libraries and corporate offices. Transport is convenient as it is a 5 minute walk from the large train station and 2 minute walk from busstops. The only negative surroundings are noise pollution from the train station and homeless community on the side of the underpass just outside the property.

The design is so good, 24 hours concierge and parcel room means you have good security on yourself and property. There is a free gym room you can use (given you go gym haha). The clubroom have a kitchen where you can have party of 12 people. Nice view from 22 floor.

Great management
The building locality is great. Design aspect, quality, staff, events on the regular allowing residents to connect especially for festivals. The one thing I wouldn’t miss would be the carpet floors.

High quality products and furniture, one of the best I’ve seen from developers in the city. The management is always helpful and very friendly, the facilities including gym is very well equipped, there is a communal space which you can rent to organise events or parties. And also a shared workspace

A modern building with a management that make it feel like home
I have been living in this property for almost 2 years now and am very happy with both the apartment and the building management and concierge team. I am always welcomed by a smiling face, the concierge/management team have always been professional and friendly. There is a sense of security in the building and a good standard of cleanliness is always kept. There is on-site parking which you can pay for daily or rent out a parking space on a monthly basis which is convenient and cheaper than some of the other paid parking spaces in the area.
The team at Aston Place Organise lots of fun activities each month to bring the tenants together and I have always appreciated the effort they make to decorate the lobby for different occasions and give the building a warm and homely feel.
The apartments are quite small but the design is done well so it doesn’t give you a claustrophobic feeling especially because of the ceiling to floor windows and the large balconies that most apartments have. My experience is with two bedroom, two bathroom apartment and I find it very comfortable for a couple.
The free on-site gym, the post room, the comfortable concierge area with a coffee machine and teas and a place to sit and work or watch tv is also very nice.

The location is very central, minutes away from the symphony hall, Birmingham library, the Mailbox, Birmingham New Street station, lots of shops, cafes and restaurants which makes it a vibrant and convenient place to live.
Being so central, of course there is some noise from the streets and construction work going on in nearby buildings. But generally if you have your windows closed the noise level is quite low.

Storage is somewhat limited if you are a person or family with lot of belongings or moving from a bigger place here so you may need to have creative wuss to store your stuff. A lot of people use their balconies for storage as the balconies are quite large (long).

I haven’t had many issues to report over the two years but the once or twice I had issues like the lights going off in half my apartment one day, the apartment maintenance person quickly came to my apartment and resolved the issue.
Aston Place is the way to go in the city centre
Aston Place has a perfect location in the heart of the city centre with a walking distance from all services and shops (essentials and non-essentials). The train station (New Street Station) is 10 minutes walking and it connects you with the University of Birmingham, other Birmingham areas, and other cities in the UK.
The management staff is very friendly and professional. The concierge staff is well-selected and trained to meet the residents expectations. The whole team just make you feel home and safe. I can’t say enough about the team starting from the managers, Kishor and Paul, the senior and junior staff, Naqqash, Abs, Abdul, Farooq, and the new staff who I can’t recall their names at the moment.
Another important aspect is safety. The Building is located in a secure area with CCTV monitoring and 24hrs concierge available on-site.

I highly recommend living in the city centre where all services are available. Easy reach to other areas of the city and surrounding cities and towns via New Street Train Station. For larger families with kids in school, city centre might not be the option to go for. The need for larger accommodations with more suitable rent prices in addition to nearby schools might influence the decision.

The bin store is located in the basement which can be inconvenient sometimes. New residents can get an extra table-top fridge/freezer.

Good location, but bad Management
All the Apartments are well designed and the facilities are good for all of us. However, if we need something from the Managers a simple task take so long to solve and looks like we need to beg. Personally, I have had an issue with my Bike which was stolen inside de building and they haven’t refund me. The bike as in a place they allocated and with lock. The person broke the door, cut the chain, stole my bike and they haven’t done nothing.
Sorry doesn’t pay my bike and I’m sure the Company have enough to compensate me and claim for the insurance.

Bad: solve the problem for us, we need to ask for a simple change loads of time and takes more than 4 months to solve, then they send a filthy object in poor condition

Takes long to solve and when they solve it’s inappropriate. My Flatmate asked for change the sofa since April, they send yesterday the SECOND hand which was somewhere in the building, really poor condition and filthy.
This is unacceptable for the price of the rent we pay monthly, I believe we should have a better treatment by the Managers.
Home in the heart of Birmingham
The on site gym is well maintained and the management take the initiative to host many events which cater to everyone’s interests. However breakfast Fridays are easily my favourite! The common areas of the housing and neat and tidy. The staff is always very friendly and eager to help. You get a sense of community in the building and the staff go the extra mile to ensure that you feel comfortable.

Accommodation which feels like living in a 5* hotel
Everything about Aston place is outstanding!
We’ve been living there for a year and it’s so pleasant! The move was made very easy by the clear instructions provided as well as such a warm welcome. The team are super helpful, attending to our needs and requests straight away but also being so friendly ! Just to name a few, Abdul, India, Abs, Farouk and Paul are superstars!
Location is perfect and although it’s a lively city centre area, we don’t hear a thing whilst in our flat. The building and flats are very well designed, cleaned, safe and maintained. Flats are on the smaller size but comfortable, well furnished and maintenance requests sorted straight away.
We won’t want to move out, ever!!!

We loved the virtual 360tour which is a lot better than a video. Public areas are very well maintained and clean. The gym facilities are great. Flats don’t have hallway, lack of space where to put shoes and coats. Excellent activities are organised to get together with neighbours.

Aston Place is very modern and clean and the building is always kept in its best condition. The management and reception team are more than amazing, lovely, welcoming and kind. Kishor, Mark, Paul, Abs, Naqqash, Bash and many more go above and beyond to make each resident feel at home. They are helpful, supportive and on top of any requests they receive. They also build a great community spirit by planning themed activities and social events for residents each month. Moreover, it is reassuring to know that there is 24/7 reception, making this facility a very safe and enjoyable place to live in. The apartments have a modern and beautiful design, the balconies are spacious and the communal areas are kept up to date. Any maintenance requests are solved in a heartbeat by the fantastic maintenance team onsite. Residents also benefit from a bookable dining room for events or birthday parties, a newly renovated gym, a lounge and a 24/7 accessible parcel room to name a few things that add to the convenience and amazingness of this place. I have lived here for 2.5 years now and there has not been a day where I have regretted my decision to make Aston Place my home away from home! 🙂

Aston Place is right in the middle of the city centre, it takes 3 minutes to walk to Grand Central station. Beautiful life
Aston place are very clean and tidy. Professional property management and different activities are held for tenants every month, specially Halloween, Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, I feel warm since I have not any friends when move in Birmingham.

This property feels new, looks new, and is really an excellent place to be.
The management team is really top-notch! Kishor, Paul, Abs, Priya, Grace, and the others have all been extremely welcoming and accommodating in any requests and in answering any questions I had. They facilitated the move-in process which was seamless, and they continue to be helpful if there are any issues.
Everything from the parcel room facilities, the gym, the clubroom, and the 24 hour reception really makes this place a cut above the rest. Aston Place has exceeded my expectations!

Aston Place is in an amazing location, close enough for a few mins walk from city centre, but far enough where it is still quiet and not too busy. Everything is nearby, such as the local shops, restaurants, and shopping. I personally do not drive, but I do not need to as this property has excellent transport links with buses, trams, and New Street Station all less than a 5 min walk away.

The staff organises events for the residents ever so often, and they really cultivate a sense of community and belonging, which I really do like. For example, there are breakfast clubs, they organise tenant get-togethers and socials, and they stream current sports events such as World Cups/Wimbeldon

Before moving in, I was concerned about the lack of freezer space. They immediately offered a new countertop freezer to us free of charge, and it was installed within 6 hours of moving in. I have not had any issues since.

The reception is amazing, they are always there to help or talk to. With regards to the apartment it feels even more spacious then we imagined. And all the extras like the gym, parking, clubroom, events etc are really nice and they have them frequent

I loved the overall design of the property and everything is in top notch condition good as new. I moved from India directly to the flat and the process for getting the apartment was seamless. After moving in, getting any item related to the home and ordering them is secure and safe as they give us a parcel room. I have ordered alot of items when I am not around and it’s one of the best thing for me. Also, balcony is something really great which gives me a good view of the city.

Clean and new communal areas are well maintained. Aston Place is surrounded by a few construction sites, it is a bit of mess and noisy.

WiFi was out of order, the building manager reported to the service provider immediately. Eventually, the service was resumed within 3 hours.
An almost great development stuck in the limbo of change.
The development when i first moved in was satisfactory however as time has progressed it has stayed the same and not progressed with time. The facilities in the club room drastically need improving, to help integrate others and to ease the well being of residents. I would recommend some cool down facilities, recreational such as a games console for all to use (xbox or ps5) to liven the mood of the place. The area could also do with a vending machine for small produce either in the club room or outside and a toaster of similar branding to the kettle in the club room kitchen. The building management has generally been good however they need to adapt a policy to match or better the competition. this would improve the overall feel at this development. Kishor has been a good help but needs to move with change to match the other developments around. The front desk team has always been excellent a personal mention to Abdul Naqqash. The maintenance team has always been prompt and efficient in their response to an issue. Hussain has been an extra help and extremely thorough in his work and will not leave until it is perfect. overall the development is good but needs changes to push it to great.

Best apartment in Birmingham
The apartment is very modern and well-equipped. The building is relatively new as it just turned 3 years old this year if my memory is correct, so all furnitures and appliances are in good conditions. I love the balcony, as it gives the room great lighting and I can enjoy the sun and a bird’s eye view of the city. The building materials are great, as it is sound proof and I am never disturbed by my neighbours or noise of the city. I am not expert but I think the materials also help keep warm in winter and cool in summer, as I don’t often turn on my heater during winters (have lived here for 2 years) which helps save my energy bills! The apartment also has its gym (cleaned daily and well-equipped), coffee machine, and a club room which you can book and social with friends. I often book the room and invite my friends to cook and dine together.
The reception team is also very kind and helpful, and probably the best team I have met so far. They hold different activities each month, e.g. breakfast club, craft club, walking tours in Birmingham. The team has helped me with many things so far, e.g. Kishor and Abs both helped me print out some documents when my printer broke down. Also when I applied for a parking space, I asked the team if I could get a place that is easy to park, as I am a new driver and not good at parking, Paul personally run down to the parking lot to check the remaining parking space, and allocated the most spacious one to me.

The location is fantastic, as the building is right in the heart of city centre. It is only 5-10min walk away from New Street station and close to many restaurants and bars and fun places like Bullring, Mailbox, and Brindleyplace. The apartment also has its own underground car park, and it is easy to drive around and go on to motorways.

Very quick and efficient. There was a leak in my bathroom, and the team allocated a plumber to check the next day. Also when the light went out in my bathroom on a Saturday, the team came in and fixed it half an hour later after I raised this request.

The management team is fantastic, and the staff are always exceedingly helpful. Repairs are quick and prompt, and the common areas are spotless. The layout of the flat is good with lots of internal and external space. Noise insulation is exceptional and I have no issues with noise produced by other flats.

The management team is exceptionally friendly and responsible. Upon moving in, I had numerous questions regarding matters such as package delivery and the location of the garbage room. The team members patiently and kindly assisted me, not only helping with the transportation of my luggage to the apartment door on the day of my arrival but also addressing all of my inquiries. They proved to be a highly responsible and professional team. Thanks to their efforts, I will definitely recommend this apartment to my friends.

Aston Place is a great choice for a single person or a couple. It is ideally located with access to all major transportation routes and close proximity to shops providing all daily needs. The facilities include two elevators, a residents lobby, a common room which can be booked for events, a gym, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Apartments are well designed and fully furnished, only issue is the low ceiling and awkwardly located electric heaters. The electric heaters are located in different places in each apartment, so be careful not to choose an apartment with a heater far from where you sit as it would be useless in winter months.

The facilities are top quality, I had just one issue with the washing machine, when I flagged it up they replaced the washing machine within 48 hours with a new one.
A great place to live in the centre of Birmingham
The building is new, having been finished in 2020. The windows do their job at protecting from noise and cold, and insulation helps saving money during the cold months. Inside, the space is well used. The building offers gym facilities, storage for packages, bicycle racks and car parks. Flats have large balconies where you can enjoy the breeze, or just dry your clothes. Flats are well lit and get plenty of sun. In the summer, it is a joy to do your chores or work from your apartment with your windows open and the sun shining.

The location of this place could not be better. It is a five minute walk from the New Street train station, two minute walk from the Birmingham Library and the Mailbox commercial centre, five minute walk to the Gas Street basin and Victoria Square. The building is placed in a relatively separated area, with the Crowne Plaza hotel on the back, which “shields” it from noise. There’s a Tesco and a Sainsburys within walking distance, and the entrance of the building is very convenient for large deliveries.

I wish I’d known the washing machine also had a dryer function, since I brought with myself a small dryer from a previous flat I didn’t actually need.

Dandara Living – Aston Place… The place to be!
Aston Place is very new and modern inside, the apartments all have a great layout, furnished nicely inside.
One great benefit to living in Aston Place is the gym included on the lower ground floor which I make great use of and has really saved me from having to get a gym membership elsewhere. The gym is what you would expect, it’s quite small but does have most of the facilities/equipment that you would need. I will say it’s lacking some of the basic machines you might find at other gyms and some of the cardio equipment seems to be broken sometimes but overall it is a great little gym and definitely a plus to living in Aston Place.
The staff working in Aston Place are all very friendly and approachable, Paul in particular is extremely helpful with any issue you may have and it’s always great to be greeted with a friendly face when entering the building. We are very happy with the staff and the community within Aston Place and would recommend this to anyone.
I have noticed there are some aspects of the building which have not yet been completed such as some of the staircases to some floors, as some staircases are not carpeted.
Overall the building and apartments are in good condition and quite clean, when we moved into our first apartment here on a different floor it was in perfect condition. The second apartment we moved into was already lived in so we did expect a little bit of wear and tear, however we noticed the washing machine had a slight smell which was hard to get rid of and the bathrooms could have been cleaner.

Living in Aston Place is very central, you are close to New St station and the Bullring etc, so it is a great location especially since both of us work in the city centre.
Our closest supermarkets are Tesco in the Mailbox and a small Sainsbury’s which aren’t the best in terms of selection so we get our groceries delivered which we have no issue with.
Since Aston Place is so central, you will have easy access to all the nightlife in Birmingham city centre, such a short walk to Broad Street as well as Arcadian, Chinese quarter etc.

Aston Place is a great place for professionals to reside, the building is quite quiet and even in the evenings and on the weekends there is not much noise. However if you do tend to play music in the evenings you may get a complaint from a neighbour.

We have raised some problems we have had when we first moved in and these were eventually dealt with.

Building management is fantastic! Concierge service 24/7, maintenance team always present. You can dial the reception from your apartment so whatever you need you can deal with it from your home. Kishor and Paul are always helpful and very fast with their responses. They organize activities each month.
Design of the building is very modern, they even changed it and put more plants around the building so the place has more calm feeling. They also decorate the reception area, for example there is always HUGE tree for Christmas, for queens jubilee we had queen standing right next to the reception. Apartments have great furniture too which gives you an option to decorate it yourself nicely or you can get help from decoration team.

Building is located right next to the Mailbox. In 5 minutes by foot you can access bars, restaurants, shopping or the canals. It only takes 10 minutes to get to the Grand central and Bullring. It is very convenient even when you don’t want to go anywhere, because most of the restaurants deliver to your door. Building has lots of parking spaces and you can be on M6 in 10 min. Even when building is next to the main road you won’t get too much of a traffic noise.

The facilities here are well-maintained, and the front desk service is attentive and friendly. I really appreciate the complimentary gym provided by our apartment. It’s very quiet and perfect for working out alone. However, the gym equipment could be more comprehensive, especially in terms of shoulder, back, and hip exercises. I hope there can be more equipment available for those specific areas.

The property with superlative ambiance and topnotch staff
The property is a masterpiece of a building and it was built with radiance and architectural opulence. The living room may not be very large but it is fit for purpose, compactly configured in tandem with effectiveness. As I know and taking floor plans into account, the property measures up to other city homes of similar standards.
I must also single out the staff here for some kind words as they have been incredibly efficient and helpful. They attend to you at the shortest notice with speed of a meteor to ensure that any issue raised is solved. Messrs Abdul, Hussain, Paul, Mark & Kishor have been amazing. Good guys, no questions asked. I am certain that some others that I haven’t met might equally be nice. I think, it is in their DNA to be kind and accessible. Personalised professionalism is equally in their arteries and veins-nice guys.

The property is beautifully located and easily accessible to all major shops, in addition, transport is readily served due to the location. Since I moved in a week ago, I can confirm that the property has excellent sound proof, up to zero decibel of noise when the windows and doors are closed.
There is paid parking availability at the basement of the property leading directly to the lifts for the comfort of the residents. I can further confirm that there has not been any known or recorded anti-social behaviour within the vicinity of the property and traffic noise exists nowhere due, I think, to the structural and architectural finesse of the property.

The property has 2 lifts that serve all the floors. During viewing, I thought it will be a problem but having now settled here, I can confirm that the lifts work perfectly and I haven’t experienced unnecessary delays due to traffic of residents.

Only slight thing is maybe more robustly dealing with very disruptive loud instrument/ music noise from tenants but I know it’s very difficult to regulate grown adults and this got better.
Best place to stay in Brum
The apartments are thoughtfully designed and make excellent use of space. No space is wasted and there’s a lot of wardrobe and storage space. The full length balconies are a unique feature which you won’t find in other apartments.
The management is excellent – love the fact that there’s always someone to let you in at the reception desk and to collect and store parcels. Feels very secure.
The concierge team always plans fun activities and events for the residents, great way to build a community!

A fantastic place to live!
The building itself has really felt like home to me over the past 2 years! It’s modern and everyone I ever invite round is always very impressed at where I live. The sky bridge on each floor gives you great views of the city. The apartments itself are decently sized with the benefit of a long balcony, and designed to feel sleek yet cosy and homely.
The furniture provided is of high quality and I’ve never had any issues with any appliances within my apartment itself. The on site gym has been a massive perk for me and has saved me from paying an additional cost for a gym membership, but also made me go more frequently as it is so convenient. It is well equipped for what I need it to be and you can go anytime!
There is also regular events hosted by management and you are often invited to free breakfast or other cultural festivities. The team make a real effort and go above and beyond to make it an exciting and welcoming place to live. I have had many happy memories at Aston Place and can highly recommend it as a property!

This area is probably the best in Birmingham! It is literally 5 minutes walk away from News Street station, so couldn’t be more central and has fantastic transport links. But it is on a quiet street away from any sort of anti-social behaviour or traffic noise making it a calm place to live.
There is a local Sainsburys a few minutes walk away and all your other high street shops are all within walking distance too! Parking on the basement floor of the apartment block makes it ideal for when guests come to visit but the fab location also means there is no real need for a car personally. There is also bin disposal point in the basement of the building, meaning as residents there is no need to stress about bin collection days and it’s hassle free.

Best place to live in Birmingham
I can’t stress enough how lovely it is it live here. The team (especially Abdul, Abs, Paul & Naqqash) man the reception 24 hours a day and always give you a warm welcome. They show a genuine interest in your life, want to know how your day is and want to be helpful. There’s always community events going on including a monthly breakfast, regular gym sessions and workout classes, knitting, painting and other creative classes, tours of the city and special events for any religious holidays. Pets are also welcome here and there’s treats on hand for them too! Happiest & safest place to live in Birmingham by far!

The location is perfect – right next to the tram lines & a few minutes from the train station. Close enough to walk to any bars/ shops or activities but far enough away that it’s quiet and peaceful at night. I love looking over the library and square and seeing what’s happening in the city. The luxury apartment made me feel at home
I think the whole front desk design is very warm and modern, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Mr. Kishor Tahiliani. It’s also very quick to repair anything, basically in 24 hours, which you can’t imagine in other apartments. Every time when I went downstairs to pick up the delivery or takeout, I was warmly greeted by reception staff, which made me feel at home.

Great home away from home!
This is potentially one of the best places to live in Birmingham. The apartment is new and comfortable, the balcony is a really nice addition for residents to get fresh air or keeping some plants. Facilities such as the residence lounge and gym are amazing and can be used almost 24/7.
However, my favourite part of Aston Place is definitely the people in it.
As someone who is coming from abroad, Indianjit has made my move a smooth journey. She has guided me through the process and also assisted me with settling in. Indianjit has also supported me through the defect process of the apartment and any shortcomings during my first few days in the apartment.
Abs, Paul, Naqqash & Bash are among those that have been very welcoming – they are the friendly faces you will see at the concierge area every day and they are also very helpful with any comments, feedback and issues you have encountered in the apartment. They have made every effort to get to know their residents and their family & friends.
Kishor is also very proactive and helpful in any escalation on the apartment. He is very approachable and react to the feedback from its residents.
The management organises monthly events such as walking tours, breakfast gathering and festival celebrations. This is a great way for the residents to socialise and to get to know their neighbours.
There is no such thing as a perfect place and the same goes with Aston Place but it is so minor that the good supersedes the small issues such as having a small fridge (which they have compensated it well with additional freezer!), a carpeted floor in every corner of the apartment and a bit of a distance for common bin area.

The area is amazing! Aston Place is a walking distance and easily accessible to all parts of the city.
Their security system is good, and the back door or basement entrances cannot be used without keys. Furthermore, the concierge is very mindful of who enters the building and is let up to the apartments.
Moreover, the double glazed windows help reduce the noise from the street to a bare minimum.

There is no heater in the bathroom, which sometimes results in this remaining damp for longer than usual. However, the fan system in the bathroom works well and does its job.

The management has promptly responded to any complaints regarding the apartment and Kishor has been a good escalation point for any unresolved issues.

Very good design and facilities. The maintenance of the facilities are also great. The team also does a great job in celebrating different celebrations across different cultures. The only concern is sometimes a long wait is experienced for elevators during peak hours.

The apartments are well designed to accommodate several rooms, and have wide balconies that open up the space. The buildings location is very ideal, as it is situated in the center of the city. Several grocery shops and railway stations are only a few minutes walk from the building. Comfortable and good value for money
The apartment is compact yet airy and well ventilated. The bathrooms are well designed and spacious.
Bedrooms are decent size. The furniture that comes with the apartment could have been minimised to make more space or the property management could have the facility to remove any furniture that is not required by the tenant.

Aston place great place to live
The design of the building is great you hardly hear anyone or traffic/city noise. Apartments are a good size and well laid out. Fridge is a good size, was worried about the size of the freezer box but has been a problem so far and fits in more than I thought. Furniture is good quality. Bed is really comfortable.
The only downside of the apartment is the shower, while the shower is great it really needs a door to stop the floor getting a pool of water after every use, not a big deal though.
Not use the gym but equipment looks good and clean. The main areas of the building is kept really clean. All staff are amazing friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Have to say Abdel has been brilliant from the day I have moved in! Having the Parcel safe room has been great and works well. Wish I had move here sooner. Would recommend Aston place great place to live.

Great location so close to New st station and other transport links. Shops and restaurants. I have parking in Arena central car park at additional cost good value and car park has security 24/7 and very secure. Design of the building means you can’t really hear traffic noise.

Aston Place is the best place you can live if you want to be in the city centre close to all amenities, they have a gym in the ground floor that is really nice if you want to do a quick work out session. They also have a lot of activities that happen regularly and I think that gives it a special touch and it’s amazing to socialise with other tenants. The only down side is that you have to pay for your parking and people that come visit need to pay a crazy amount if they spend the whole day.

Design and facilities of the building is good, you can expect everything you would expect for a modern apartment. The 24 hours reception would be my favourite so that my parcel can arrive at any time and can have support at any time. The management team here in Aston Place is very friendly and supportive.

The apartment is located right in the centre of Birmingham so you will be able to find all the shops, restaurants, bars and open spaces available within a couple minutes of walking. Transport is very convenience as you have access to buses and trams right outside the flat and Newstreet station is only 5mins away. Rubbish are all thrown away on the -2 floor and there are plenty of space there to place different kinds of rubbish recyclable, glass etc and you don’t have to worry about collection. Haven’t seen anti-social behaviour so far and traffic noise is relatively minimal if you keep the windows closed.

Would’ve liked to known that the extraction fan motor is right next to the bed when you’re in a studio and it can be noisy sometimes.

The property is furnished to a high and modern standard both in the communal areas and apartment itself. There’s a beautifully decorated club room on the ground floor for available for residents to host guests or use in the day to work/study and it’s fully fitted with a kitchenette and large dinning table to seat 8-10 people. Additionally there’s a secure post room so you don’t have to be in if you’re expecting a parcel, you simply get a text to let you know it’s arrived and giving you a code to access the room and collect your parcel. I can’t fault anything about Aston Place, they make everything so easy and all the staff are friendly and helpful, helping you with anything from little things like printing to bigger things to do with your apartment and maintenance.

Staff are always receptive and helpful if you come to them with a problem. In a hear and a half I’ve only had one problem and it was to do with my parking space being accidentally reallocated – they were apologetic and sorted it out with me then and there within 15 minutes.

I like the management here as every staff here is kind and patient. Each time I talked to them just like a warm family. I really appreciate a lot for the kindness and patience that Naqqash shows to me. I once forgot to print my documents, and he quickly solved this problem by using the printing machine from his office which has helped me a lot. I also would like to say thank you to Kishor who always being friendly to me and I still remember how patient he helped me to find out my mail downstairs as I did not know where it was. I would like to say thank you to Abdul and Farooq as they are always enthusiastic and positive to help me solve my problems. It is located in the city centre where all kinds of restaurants from German to Thailand and shops are all nearby. What’s more, China Town is only a 10 minutes walk from here which makes life full of fun and exciting things to explore. There is more than three bus stop nearby and the most important thing is that there are three train stations, especially for the new street station which only needs a 7 minutes walk. Above all, life is convenient here!

The take-out sometimes would miss out and do not know where is the main entrance of the building. They usually tend to meet me outside the Crown Plaza, but they now know where to go with the experience increase. Above all, nothing to worry about too much.

The local area is simply fantastic. Easy access to the entire City Centre – everything is just a short walk away. Convenient transport links with local buses and trams nearby, as well as Birmingham New Street station only a 5-10min walk away. Apartment with excellent location and good management
The apartment keeps new and clean from the outside to the inside of the building. Both lifts are operating fast. Free wi-fi is available with good connection speed. Parcel storage room is convenient to me that I don’t need to wait at home. Social spaces, function room and gym room is free for the residents. Staffs are helpful and friendly as specially Mr. Kishor Tahiliani – the manager.

Building retains modern feel, well equipped gym, free to use club room and regular events. Only 2 lifts for over 300 apartments can sometimes be a bottleneck. Always immaculately presented and the reception area has a warm and welcoming feel to it. Easy access front and rear.

Everything is on your doorstep, parking underground and on street, close to Aston Expressway but noise limited, I’m on 13th floor and hear very little from outside.

Make sure you check where the sun is throughout the day. The apartments with balconies facing the Crowne Plaza get the sun between 12pm and 8pm through the summer assuming you’re in the top half of the building. Some apartments do not get any sun at all, I.e. the ones facing the library or paradise.

A few small issues over the 30 months I’ve been here. Replaced defective equipment without hesitation and fixed issues in a timely manner.

Best place to live in Birmingham City centre
The building and its facilities are great and just what we need. Every now and again the lobby and common areas receive a refresh with new furniture and fresh coats of paint. The areas surrounding the building are kept immaculate as well. Common areas are cleaned regularly and hallways on every floor are vacuumed, with elevator doors and buttons also being sanitised.

Aston place is just a few minutes walk from new street and snow hill train stations, and also the library tram stop.
There are hundreds of restaurants and bars close by. Broad street, the Mailbox, Bullring and Chinatown are on the doorstep!!
Although Suffolk Street Queensway is right by the building, the windows and balcony doors are soundproof. Apart from the odd car revving at 2am occasionally, we’ve never had issues with traffic noise or other noise.
The area is very safe and 24/7 concierge adds that extra element of safety.

Building is super clean and well mantained.
This was my first every experience living alone and I must say i feel super safe. The location is ideal in the centre with everything within a walking a distance and grocery stores nearby.
Mantainence is quickly resolved where Paul who looks after this is super effecient.
One more plus: aston organises events for tenants because of which I ended up making so many friends!

Absolutely the best!
Everything from looking the apartment to actually living it now has been a superb experience.
My experience started with Naqqash who showed me the apartment very professionally and answered all the queries.
I then met Kishore who is the owner and was super friendly and made me feel welcomed.

Dandara is modern with appealing interior design. Building is kept clean and secure. The building includes a free gym, nice communal area and paid parking. It’s also very secured inside and outside of the building and you don’t worry about your safety.

The building is excellent, all its facilities are right to the point. The postage store room helped me a lot, it allows me to receive some deliveries before my check-in. Also, the building management team is outstanding, all member is friendly and helpful.

Excellence place to live in central Birmingham
An excellent place to live – we’ve been in our flat nearly 3 years and have no complaints. The building is kept really clean, with great facilities including a free gym and post room, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rent is very reasonable for such a central location and the flat is really well furnished.

The location of Aston Place is really great. It close to the New Street Station, you can buy your daily groceries just in 5 or 10 mins walking path.

On the second day of our move-in, we were not familier with the function of the boiler. We came to the reception, and ask for help. Around 30 mins a technical help came to our apartment and had a checking, he is so nice and explained the automatic program of the bolier.
Overall: nice atmosphere, brilliant staff, great building and excellent location.
Building is very clean and well kept. The facilities that are available within the building: gym, parcel room, social room, bike storage.
Apartments are nicely designed with fair amount of storage, including amenities such as washing machine or dishwasher. Added balcony is a nice touch and extra space for storage if needed.
Fast WiFi is included which is a pleasant bonus.
All staff are very friendly, welcoming and always help with everything (Kishor, Paul, Naqqash, Indianjit, Abdul just to name a few).

Excellent location. New Street station, Mailbox, Brindley Place are all nearby within walking distance. Tram line as well as bus stops just outside the building by the Birmingham Library. Nearest parking available on Holiday Street. There isn’t much noise except a bit of traffic during peak times.

The apartment is amazing, fully furnished and very good location in the city centre.
it’s a new building so the isolation is quite good, then you will spend less money for heating. the building is pet friendly and the staff are so kind with our dog.

Once you experience living in Aston Place, it’s hard to move out
Aston Place is in the heart of the city centre and has access to all the surrounding services. Very close to the central library, the Mailbox, and the train station. It is very safe and clean and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and treat every person with special attention and care. Kishor, the operational manager is always around taking care of everything. Naqqash, Abdul, Bashar, Kaur, and others that I can’t recall their names but remember their friendly faces, are always available providing the best customer service and make sure everyone is getting the best service. There’s a list of activities and events at the property released every month that help residents get engaged and entertained. Maintenance service is great, they get things fixed immediately or simply replace the equipment.

The city centre is a lively area where all sorts of services are available. If you live in the city centre, you’ll rarely need to go to other areas. The New Street train station that takes you to the university (UoB) in 7 minutes also takes you to other towns and cities. Very convenient place to live in.

When the building got almost fully occupied, two lifts seemed to be busy at some times. The disposal bins are a bit inconvenient as they are located in the basement for the whole building of 22 floors.

The washing machine once had an issue, they got it replaced the next day. The management is very responsive via email, phone or in person.
A lovely place called home
The furnished apartment in modern design with Wi-Fi included, we can just walk in with our suitcases. It’s clean like brand new apartment the day we moved in.
They also have monthly events for the residences, nice decoration with good vibes !

The area could not be situated better. Basically in the middle of most areas of Birmingham. Short walk to Jewellery Quarter, Brindley place, town centre, broad street.

The only slight issue for me is the walk to the car park, as I pay £100 for parking which is not the direct one in the apartment block. It is still not outside but takes around 4 minute walk from lift

Issue with our main lounge light not working and the team were brilliant with responding with the maintenance to fix our problem within a day
Enjoy the stay so far
I enjoyed the activities held every month, especially the Platinum Jubilee Party. Numerous choices of snacks and drinks and the design was spectacular. The vibe was wonderful joining different neighbours.
One thing I find slightly stressful is the lack of additional lifts during rush hour. I experienced waiting for the lift for 10 minutes and multiple stops.

The development is fine. The design and facilities here are well-managed and everything looks brand new every day. I like the great smell on the floor which makes the air in the building fresh. I think the quality of the living area (including the local shops, restaurants, bars & open spaces) is perfect. As the building is near the new street station with bus stops nearby, transportation here is very convenient. Living on my street has satisfied me well because the bin collection for me is good and the traffic noise here has been controlled well which has not affected too much of my life.

The building is new compare to other developments. The management team is good enough to support tenants’ needs, also there is a maintenance team that can fix everything.

Functional and Cosy
The building is very functional in its design but also has everything a modern apartment building could need. Facilities staff are always quick to respond to anything you raise on the resident’s portal, so that’s always a plus. I would say it could do with a third lift for this many flats but that’s not going to change anything now :). Overall top quality development

Right in the middle of Birmingham, New Street station is only ten minutes walk away. And the Library of Birmingham and Broad Street are just round the corner, so location wise, you couldn’t be anywhere better. Shops are plentiful and access to the tram and buses is a stone’s throw away too.

I feel very lucky to live here!
My apartment is light and spacious with a large balcony, ensuite balcony and gorgeous views of Victoria Square. The facilities include a well-equipt gym (which means residents save on paying for a gym membership elsewhere) and a pretty events room for holding dinner parties or any other events with friends. The team here are so lovely and always put a smile on my face! No problem is too big or too small for them.

The building is in a fantastic location, being just a 5 min walk from Birmingham New Street, Bullring shopping centre and Brindley Place. Its right in the city centre in the brand new Paradise development so the location really couldn’t be better!

Centenary Square is literally right next to the building and is a hub of activity. There are often concerts, festivals and other events going on there so I recommend having a look at the Birmingham council website or even asking the team here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I’ve had very few problems but when I did have a maintenance issue the team responded quickly and fixed it right away. The team are always looking for feedback and suggestion which is probably partly why this is such a fantastic place to live as it’s always getting even better
What a wonderful and tranquil home.
The building is clean and very well maintained. It feels brand new even though the development is about 2 years old. The amenities such as club room and gym are splendid, very clean and very spacious. Lastly I’d like to say all the gents and ladies downstairs are only there to help, they are so pleasant to deal with and they are quite honestly in a short span of time an extension of my family.

When first looking at apartments, noise and traffic was a key part of my decision. However due to where Aston Place is situated, theres all the fun of being central but equally there’s a lot of peace and tranquility when you’re home.

I think one of the most important aspects that you don’t get during a viewing are what kind of neighbors you have. The neighbors are excellent and they give you a really good vibe and you have really pleasant conversations when for example you’re coming in and out of the elevator.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The Operations team are an extension of the family and are genuinely here to help, I needed help fixing my baby’s cot and they came up with their tools and fixed it for us. It was such a relief.
Great place
The apartment is beautifully furnished and the rooms are spacious and lovely. All the staff members are very nice and helpful. There are constant events to bring together all the residents allowing us to meet our neighbors. All the facilities are clean and well kept. Great place overall with amazing management and staff

Anything you need in walking distance, great building, incredible staff.
The building is new, which says a lot about the quality.
Everything from the hallways, and elevators, to your own flat, are have a consistent stylish design style.
It simply looks good—aesthetics 5/5.
The building has a downstairs 24/7 concierge and all the staff downstairs is very friendly and always helpful.
Kishor was incredibly helpful and accommodated all my requests.
There is also a mail room downstairs, which is incredibly convenient, as you don’t have to worry when receiving parcels.
Downstairs, you will also find the resident’s lounge and the gym.
The resident’s lounge is perfect if you want to have get-togethers and require a lot more space or don’t want to host a party in your flat.
The building also has its own handyman team on site, so if anything ever breaks, it will be fixed in a very short time.

The location is situated in the center of Birmingham. It really does not get more convenient than this.
Everything you need is within a maximum 5 minutes of walking distance.
Within the 5 minutes range there are 2 Tesco’s and 2 Saintsburry as far as everyday grocery shopping goes.
Also right next to the building there is the Mailbox shopping center where you can find anything you need as far as shopping goes.
Also, present here there is a cinema.
The canal is pretty much around the corner and on the side with the Mailbox you will find a big number of restaurants and pubs.
On the oposite side, there is Broad street, where you will find a lot of pubs and restaurants, and where the nightlife takes place.
The most important thing I would say has to be the New Street Train station, which is literally a 2 minute walk away.
This makes traveling so much better, especially if you commute daily.

It took me a while to realise how close the canal is and how fun it is for walks.

Yes, they have every time and in a very short amount of time.
Great location, and great staff
Tt’s a great place to live! The staff is great, very friendly and are always willing to help. Having concierges, and maintenance on site team makes a real difference! The furniture and home appliances have a great quality and design, the fridge/freezer is small – which can be tricky if you cook very often. The one bedroom apartment is very spacious. The on site gym is well fitted.

It’s been less than I month that I moved in, so I just had raised a few conflicts on my inventory data, and the building management handled very well.
Absolutely Recommend
Cosy rooms designed, great quality furniture and helpful staff around solving any problems efficiently. Layout of the room is very functional and the style of decoration is modern and full of energy. Gym and club room is provided for free as well which is of great convenience.

Highly recommended place to live
The design is fairly good, I would prefer to have a dedicated lift for taking the trash out
Since it is a huge building, I also love if I saw two or three lifts more to decrease the waiting time
I would also recommend more social gathering events, the current level is very good but no harm to increase it

Aston Place – 5 Stars All Round
The building itself has been completed to a high standard and I am impressed with the quality of the facilities overall. The staff: Kishor, Abs, Paul and the rest of the team have been nothing but helpful when it comes to solving problems and are always polite and respectful to all of the tenants.
The building also offers a wide range of events to get involved in, which encourages the meeting of tenants within the building. This is a very cool aspect of Aston Place, which you would struggle to find elsewhere.

The location of Aston Place is absolutely spot on. It is perfectly situated in the middle of Broad Street and New Street Station and feels like everywhere you want to go in Birmingham is less than a 10 minute walk. being in the City, there is no shortage of high quality restaurants, bars and shops and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The lifts can take quite a while, especially on move in days – Two lifts for a building with so many tenants can be problematic, especially if you’re in a rush!

Building management have always been prompt in responding to issues through the portal and will always check in and update with any progress.

Great Location and good property management.
Kishor and the property team are great and solve any issues as quickly as possible. They do a great job at creating a sense of community. The apartments themselves have a good layout and it’s nice to have an in building gym. The lobby area is also nice to work in.

The building is very recent, being only a few years old which means everything in the property is modern and convenient. If anything breaks down, you will find that the Aston Place Team is always available to fix or help with anything. This is the best building you want to be in when you find yourself in need of assistance.

The location of Aston Place is quite strategic because it is in the heart of the city centre. Surrounded by shopping centres, transportation services, beautiful views, and top-rated restaurants. Parking is also available for Aston Place residents so there is nothing that’s missing from what you may need in your daily life.

I never knew the balcony views were that epic! The pictures online don’t do it justice and there’s more to Aston Place than wha you see in online photos.

Over a year ago, my washing machine broke and the management team made sure it got replace instantly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

The building has a lot of facilities and the Team provides several social encounters. The design of the building is nice, the place is really well managed and the staff is always cleaning it.

The area is perfect! Everything is closed by. Shops, restaurants, public transportation, etc.

Aston Place is an excellent building. The facilities we have are great, the gym has new equipment, the staff are kind and always ready to help when needed.

The building is nice and well maintained, the location is quite and there is no noise that may disturb you while studying or working. The apartment is small and cosy, The team is fantastic ! Perfect building and team
Living at Aston Place is like living in a hotel, all the concierges are always happy to help and make coming home so welcoming. They know you by name and are really on hand 24/7 so you feel very safe. The building is always kept spotlessly clean, decorated with the most recent calendar event and heated to the perfect temperature. All the events put on by the management are such a lovely touch and make you feel like the building is a family. All the extra amenities such as the gym and the club room you can book are great, easy to book and well equipped. Overall I love living here.

Being right in the centre we are close to all the best bars and round the corner from local supermarkets. Birmingham new street station is a 5 minute walk and makes it easy to get to anywhere further out of the centre. It is noisy around the apartment but the windows block it all and we can only hear it with the balcony door open. The bins are within the apartment block and easy to access, the same with parking which is easily accessible for guests you may have also.

Wish we had known that if they have them available management can provide an extra fridge or freezer for your apartment.

We had our boiler on the wrong setting and ‘ran’ out of hot water at 11pm on a Friday, they came straight up to have a look and helped us set it the exact way we needed and wrote us instructions out incase we forgot.

The cleaninnes of the building is irreproachable. Apartments are very modern, cozy, and equipped with all necessary appliances. There is a very nice gym space available for all residents which is so cool and convenient. The parcel room is one of my favorites, as all my delivered packages are safe and sound.

Development is modern, clean, new. All facilities are new and maintained to a high standard. Balcony’s are sound proof and rooms are well insulated rarely hearing noise from other residents. The building facilities include a really great gym, and the communal areas are well looked after. The building seems to be managed really well by Kishor, Paul and the team. Very cozy apartments with great layout in a well maintained building with access to a gym and club room to welcome your visitors. High speed internet and safe room for deliveries and a super friendly team always available to support. After 1 year living here I still cannot find any negative things. It’s just amazing!

Brilliant location and amenities
This is a new (3 years old) and a very well-maintained development (like new) having its own in-house maintenance team looking after the building. Facilities include resident’s lounge is like an upscale hotel, gym has the latest equipment and concierge are always very welcoming. A relatively new build with clean and modern communal areas. The management are responsive and eager to fix tenants problems. There are regular events: walking tours; coffee meet and greet etc, which are free of cost and allow you to feel part of a community.

Modern building with city center living conveniences with bonus of having friendly and attentive building management team to make it feel like home
This is a modern building with high level of cleanliness. The concierge/building management team are kind, friendly, helpful and attentive to their tenants and actively try to engage with tenants and create a happy, safe and friendly community at the building. The apartments have nice and roomy balconies which is a blessing when living in apartment buildings. Having a post room where our deliveries can be handled by concierge team is especially helpful for working professionals who are at the office all day. The on-site gym, is pretty well equipped, clean and most convenient to use.

Perfect location, close to a plethora of restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, beautiful historical buildings, the Birmingham library, Symphony Hall etc. Around 10min walk to Birmingham New Street and Moore Street station. Centralized bin collection room in the building for a convenient disposal of general waste as well as recyclables.
Being in the heart of the city center it is natural to have some traffic noise especially when windows are open but closed windows do help suppress much of the noise.

If moving into a furnished apartment, know that with addition of your own personal belongings, the apartment will feel much more homely. Living on higher floor levels means longer waits each day for the lift but also means nice sunrise/sunset views and city center views (depending on which side your apartment is facing of course).

Raising help requests for maintenance work is quick and simple on the tenant portal and you can also raise any issues with building management team. Thus far any maintenance requests I have raised have been dealt with promptly.
Overpriced
The kitchen is very small barely any space in there not enough room for a freezer which is concerning, building management is decent even though there’s still issues, I think the people that work here make this place a bit better. The design isn’t the best why would anybody want 2 stand in showers but I guess the balcony makes up for it?

Great transport links and great shops near by but the parking here is overpriced especially when you can pay less and park at the hotel next door, traffic noise is also a huge problem unless you have the door shut constantly.

Great Place for City Centre Living
The design of the one bed apartment is perfect for one person. I was pretty surprised how much storage space there is in the bedroom wardrobes. The balcony views are amazing to look at, especially at night time. Another good thing is that the apartments are very sound proofed when all the doors are closed, I’ve never heard anything from the apartments next to me. The staff are always friendly with any queries.

Wish I knew how small the fridge is, but for one person it is just about fine. I also wish I knew how basic the gym was. It could use a few more machines/equipment, however there are 3 better gyms within 10 minutes walking distance of Aston Place if you need more advanced gym equipment

Since I’ve been here (November 2021) the washer/dryer stopped working but the building management replaced it in pretty quick time. Also had a quick turnaround when the fridge lights stopped working.

Worth every penny
Aston Place is a brilliant development to be in as a young professional. With access to transport, amenities and yet not extremely load it is an ideal central Birmingham residency.
Our apartment feels anything but cramped, with space for plenty of additions to make the design more homely than it may appear in a show room.

The design and facilities are very good; Excellent responsible staff; good location. We are enjoying staying there for the second year.
However, the thermal isolation of the flat is not perfect and rooms get cold a few minutes after turning off the heaters.

Supportive and kind response. Friendly staff create a significant living environment, very vibrant and pleasant!
Aston place is excellent and I will highly recommend it to everyone! The customer service and facilities are outstanding!
The design and facilities are great. The management here are all kind and helpful (Kishor, Abdul, Naqqash, Hussein especially). The only thing is that I wish the flats had storage within so that we wouldn’t have to pay for external storage but everything else is perfect.

The location is excellent and convenient, the management is outstanding in the service, the facilities are great and it’s is a pleasant experience living here. It is quiet and there are no problems at all.

I was concerned that the kitchen was too small, but it turned out to be okay after we moved in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building is always quick at responding to any issues. They are available 24/7.
If you can get in, it’s worth the money.
For the money you pay in rent it’s a bargain. The apartments are well designed. Studios are designed to feel larger than they actually are, and the balcony is huge. On-site gym that can be accessed for free throughout most the day, and couriers are able to drop off packages without tenants’ involvement as they can get into the mailroom themselves (there are cameras). Plus all the extra events that the staff on the front desk put on throughout the month.

In the middle of everything, less than 5mins walk to New Street and 10mins walk to Moor Street. Lots of shops nearby, and nearly all supermarkets do delivery to apartment. Secure underground parking for visitors, and if lucky there is street parking around the back that is free overnight.

You can sometimes hear other neighbours through the front door, mostly when it’s quiet. A lot of tenants are also students so inevitably stay up quite late, which can be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. The lifts during ‘rush hour’ can also take a very very long time, if you live on Floor 5 or below I’d consider walking up and down the stairs if able.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, on arrival my fridge wasn’t keeping cool. I let the front desk know, and within an hour maintenance were already upstairs and replaced the entire fridge no questions asked. I wasn’t required to pay / do anything other than let them in.
Good and safe place to live and you don’t have to worry about anything else. Good outdoor living as well with the private balcony you can get fresh air when you need.
Very good facility with the gym and the train station at walking distance it makes it the perfect place to live. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and everything is at awalking distance. You really don’t need a car

Its really great location to live because your are walking distance from everything especially the train station which can take you anywhere if you are bored of Birmingham.

I wish I knew about all the extra service that the management can do before I moved in because it would have made it even easier to decide to live here
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building is well looked after and I have to say that when something breaks they also look to fix it immediately
Great city centre location and team
1. Great management team, visible and approachable. Events put on regularly.
2. Small fridge and the freezer is literally a small box within the fridge which can only hold a few items, which is impractical and annoying. In a studio apartment no space in kitchen, can’t even fit a microwave on the worktop.
3. Good amount of storage space in bedroom area.
4. Any problems have been addressed quickly.
5. Would be better if parking was underneath building, it’s a bit of a walk if you have a space on the far end of Arena Central.
6. Lots of shared facilities, including a small gym. Would have been nice to have a rooftop garden, most apartment complexes now have this and the view would have been amazing.
7. Parcel room is very convenient, as don’t have to be in when parcel delivered.
8. Love the recent redecoration of communal areas, feels a lot more homely. Would be great if they now continued to do this for each floor. Some lower floors seem to have had this including directional signs, but most haven’t. Considering been here for over 2 years improvement are slow coming to my floor.

1. Central location- walkable to everywhere in city centre, including choice of bars and restaurants.
2. Feels safe area.
3. Sainsburys local close by.
4. Parking available in Arena Central for extra charge.
5. Can be noisy on Friday and Saturday night outside, but that is the trade off for a central location.
6. Can hear traffic noise, especially if balcony door open.
7. Expensive development

1. Apartments are non smoking, but neighbour always smoking on balcony, including weed. Therefore, my flat and corridor can stink at times, which is not pleasant especially at 1am. Management team occasionally email residents to remind, but don’t seem to take any action with tenants who continue to ignore this.
2. Bin store is on -2.
3. Parking is not underneath apartments.
4. Only 2 lifts for whole apartment complex, so can be long waits in morning and evening.
5. Balcony is a great space and can fit lots on it, with a great view.
6. Team available 24/7, which is reassuring.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance issues have always been resolved very quickly and I’ve been kept updated.
Perfect home at a perfect location!
The property is very well managed and everyone is really helpful. A special shout out to Kishore, Abdul and Indianjit for proactively helping us move, in a short span of time. The property is equipped with all the features which makes it an ideal home.

It is really close to the city center, so that is a definate plus as you can find a wide array of shops nearby.

Being in the hearth of Birmingham at such a modern flat is nice. But the best thing stating at Aston Place is the professionalism and friendly approach of property management and building management teams. They are fully competent in their areas and doing their best to support you.

A wonderful place to live
I really enjoy living here. The apartments have been designed with modern living mind and are thoughtfully laid out. The front of house team, create a wonderful, warm community environment for all residents

Location! Location! Aston place is perfectly located – 5 mins from the trains station, 2 mins from the Mailbox and only a few mins from the city centre

The club room is great place for get-together parties
The place has elevators to accommodate residents.

The gym is a perfect place to blow some steam off, and would be great to allow certain hours of the day for women only.

Highly recommended, very convenient location and affordable living. Beautiful neighbours and people that work within. We live on 7th floor only but views are unbelievable!!

City centre, very close to Grand Central train station (4mins walk!), beautiful views overlooking beautiful Birmingham. 1 min walk to famous MailBox, with plenty of fashion boutiques and restaurants overlooking canals.
