Amazing Property Amazing Location

Review Date Mar 2022

The property is first class, you can tell as soon as you walk into the foyer. It comes with a well equipped gym, parking, a bike store, residents lounge on the top floor and roof garden with a panoramic view of Liverpool along with a bbq for communal use. Oh and it’s dog friendly.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is superb, my 15th floor apartment overlooks the Liver buildings and river Mersey. When you step outside you are then into the main city with shops and restaurants a plenty.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Small thing but I just wish the gym has a punch bag!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have been here now just over a month and the management team have made me feel really & have bent over backwards if I have ever needed anything. Thank you Adam Chris & Sue you are doing a great job!

Some good parts, but needs improvement.

Review Date Nov 2022

Facilities are okay, especially roof terrace, security, bike storage. Gym could be improved significantly, missing a lot in terms of weights, and is sometimes dirty.

Design is good, makes it a nice place to be in communal areas. Some strange design choices in flats, including bathrooms way too big; bedrooms a bit too small.

Property management, could be improved, feels understaffed so response times are slow. Coupled with the Airbnb aspect of the building, means that resident requests go to the back of the queue vs Airbnb

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good: close to everything, including hospitality, retail, cultural (museums etc) and close to the water.

Bad: can be loud, but overall good.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of storage space in flats, the amount of airbnbs

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Haven’t had to use yet, seem to be well intentioned and available.

Cozy, modern and a diverse community all gathered in one building

Review Date Oct 2022

The design of the lobby on ground floor is very nice and it is super clean. There are very good facilities to meet up new people in the lounge of 15th floor or gather with friends for a tea. I absolutely love it. Several networking events are held in the building which helps the residents to know each other and provides a very good environment for cultural diversity of the residents. I would recommend all current and future residents to attend these gatherings.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The property is very close to shopping center of Liverpool. There are many open spaces, bars and entertainment option available at a 10min walk from home. there major advantage is being in front of the Albert dock. I personally love it when I see the albert dock every day while commuting to work. The public transportation is just next door and we have had no issue for daily trip inside Liverpool or to go to nearby towns such as Chester.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I could have rented this apartment before I came to UK in September 2021. Unfortunately there was no way to apply from abroad.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management was very helpful from the day we moved in to our flat. They have provided full support for our issues related to small bed in our bedroom.

Building management team are brilliant, so friendly and helpful! Great facilities too with the lounge and roof terrace. These facilities enable a real community feel to the building- its great to get chatting to neighbours.
The apartments are spacious and bright.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Brilliant location – close to shops and right by the docks. Underground parking available and very little noise for a city centre apartment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The building feels very safe, so helpful to feel at home in a big city.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always a prompt and friendly service – any issues have been resolved quickly.

Great location, beautiful apartments

Review Date Oct 2022

Beautiful, very clean and lovely designs. I like the gym, which the walls had better colors or designs (motivational quoted). Would definitely help if the walls or the vibe was a bit darker and dimmer lights, but maybe thats just my preference. Would be nice to have more events to meet people.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Overall good. I love the location and the apartment along with it’s view. I dont like how weak the heating system is and more important I don’t appreciate that very less attention is given to tenants due to understaffing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not really, nothing. I was given an induction package but would have been nice if I was welcomed into the building in a nicer way.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not much help was provided. I would always find the very few people available to be busy.

Favourite place I have lived

In love with the design, facilities and appreciate the friendly help from management. Frustrating sometimes trying to get in late but the fob not working outside so having to wait for security. Lots of rubbish in the chute rooms and outside the side entrance in the large bins.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Amazing – entertainment, leisure, location
Improvements – bins outside, parking, security or entry late at night

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You can go out through the side entrance but not come back in!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Said they would come and check but they never did as they were busy with painting

Gorgeous development but Airbnb-ing is a massive letdown

Review Date Oct 2022

I love the design of the building the most. The interior of our flat, the resident lounge and the lobby area are stunning and all amenities are second to none! Only bad thing that we have discovered recently is that the apartments are now being let on Airbnb which again makes the building quite loud of a weekend when my partner and I are trying to sleep as we’re in work the next day. This is the only thing that has put us off renewing our lease as well as one disruptive neighbour

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location couldn’t be more central to the city centre which is perfect. We are right next to our shopping centre and local historic landmarks so we really do get the best of both worlds!
Only downside to this is that it can be quite loud, especially on the weekend when there are events on that go on until late at night. Not ideal for me and my partner as we both work weekends and would love a full nights sleep

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When we read our contract there was a clause about not being able to sublet, but it has come to our attention that a lot of apartments have been added to Airbnb. We tend to have a lot of “guests” walking around the lobby with suitcases of a weekend taking up the communal resident space, parties that go on until late at night and a massive mess in the bin rooms. My partner and I both work weekends so having loud disruptions is not good for our routine. Also I wish we had seen a few more of the neighbours as we were viewing apartments as we have one particularly disruptive neighbour who knocks on our door uninvitingly at least 2 or 3 times per week
Also I wish I would’ve known about how difficult getting a parking space is. I have been on the waiting list since we moved in 6 months ago and have seen multiple different cars take up vacant spaces (probably more Airbnb guests). It seems easier to donate an organ than to get a parking space in the copper house. Now I am pregnant and have to carry my shopping a 10 minute walk from my car in a different building where I rent a space which is not good for me or my baby, if only my building had a parking facility I could actually use 🙂

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Perfectly! We had an issue with our smoke alarm and someone came to fix it within 10 minutes. Couldn’t fault their service and the guys are so friendly

Great place to live especially with a furry friend

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Oct 2022

We moved to Copper House because it is very pet friendly but there is a lot to like aside from that. The public spaces are great, both indoors and the roof terrace (although some signage encouraging pet owners to clear up would be good). The management, maintenance and cleaning team are lovely, we have developed a good relationship with them. We do not hear noise from other apartments, only sometimes from the corridors. We have a great view from the 13th floor

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The Copper House is in an excellent location for shopping (Liverpool One), transport links both nationally and locally (trains, buses, ferries) and lots of restaurants and bars. For us the only downside is the emergency vehicle sirens along Strand Street during the night

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Think about road noise at night but balance that against the better views in the direction of the river

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There is an ongoing issue with the smart electricity meters at Copper House. The management and maintenance teams have been helping us to get the right bill for our apartment (issue still ongoing)

Not as advertised

Review Date Oct 2022

Please train the staff in first aid and fill the coffee machine. Ensure they are respectful and do their job – which is to open the door and find parcels. I have been treated appallingly and will be taking legal action as I am moving out. I did not sleep for 6 months due to issues with the roof. I have a terminal illness and despite being promised an apartment with the balcony – it was given to an able bodied male.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Some of the staff are wonderful but the building is not accessible and I was told to come down and let the ambulance in when I was having a stroke. I was not moved despite the cladding being loose all winter. It is not the community I was sold – neither was the Air &B aspect.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That I did not have the ‘last’ apartment in the building. I have a terminal illness and a 13 year old dog. I was not shown any other, more suitable apartments.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Slowly – Sue and Chris always listened. The night staff are wondering, Sandra is amazing and needs more help. The air b&b thing is not ok and was not discussed with residents.

Best place to live in Liverpool city centre

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Oct 2022

The Copper House provides great amenities in the building. The lobby is bright and welcoming with areas to sit and relax and enjoy the view of the docks. Other facilities include a ground floor gym, providing all the equipment you could want, a resident’s lounge on the 15th floor with sitting areas, a kitchen and rest room facilities and a roof top terrace with 360 views of the city. The management and maintenance staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The Copper House is at an excellent location with easy quick access to restaurants, pubs, shopping and transportation (trains and buses). Located across from Albert Docks allows beautiful views.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would encourage anyone thinking of moving to the Copper House to just do it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management and maintenance staff has been amazing.

Fantastic position and amenities. Well maintained. A tiny higher attention to details could make the difference

Verified Resident

Review Date Oct 2022

Small but well furnished gym, nice and cozy workspaces and the rooftop is really gorgeous.

Building management and support team is always on spot and the environments are well mantained. The parcel locker works smoothly and the amenities included such as free wifi never had a single issue. There are some slight defects in the apartment such as white paint drops here and there, but nothing major.

Coffee machine at the entrance is often out of service. Maybe to add another one would be useful

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Position is amazing (both next to the city center and Liverpool One at the same time, it’s amazing), and so are the common spaces. You have everything at max 10 mins by foot.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing in particular. The home tour was very extensive and precise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintainance always replied in a matter of minutes, both at the front desk and by email
