A property plagued by security, management and anti-social behaviour issues

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area itself has decent transport links and access to shops and amenities, but living here has been overshadowed by persistent anti-social behaviour and poor management of the building. I have been here since 2023, and it used to be much better - now the management got significantly worse, and the area follows. Noise from parties is common, there have been repeated incidents involving police attendance (there's been weeks with armed police attendance for several days in a row), people throwing rubbish from balconies and windows, and even glass bottles being thrown from upper floors. Residents frequently encounter litter, unpleasant odours, and poor waste management. Security concerns have also affected the wider living experience, as non-residents can often gain access to the building due to broken entry systems. Overall, any positives about the area are significantly outweighed by the problems associated with the development itself.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management responses have generally been reactive rather than proactive. Many issues are repeatedly reported by residents yet continue to reoccur. Concerns relating to security, cleanliness, anti-social behaviour and access control often remain unresolved for extended periods, leaving residents frustrated and lacking confidence that problems will be addressed effectively. No one wants to see an AI-generated e-mail by the property manager, this is their job to tackle the issues here.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly when I moved in it was clearly not as bad as it is now, but I wish I had known how significant the security, anti-social behaviour and management issues would be - would have moved out earlier. Now that my contract here is done, I am leaving very soon. These are not things that become apparent during a viewing. Prospective residents should speak to current tenants, ask about police attendance, parcel theft, access control, noise complaints, cleanliness standards and how quickly management resolves reported issues. The day-to-day experience can be very different from the impression given during viewings.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good accessibility to the central London. Adjacent to Kew Bridge station and 10-min distance to Gunnersbury station. The drawback is the distance from the central of Chiswick, Richmond and Ealing. Apo Kew is in the middle of them. But it is fairly ok if you are used to visiting these areas.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management generally responses to the maintenance issues promptly although timeline for repairs would be another issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I expected the closed relation with management as those in Liverpool. But it would be hard to expect due to the scattered location of flats, however the quality of management is the same as those in Liverpool.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Kew Bridge is a lovely area, it’s close to Chiswick and Richmond for big, known stores but at the same time not so busy as those neighborhoods. The essentials are covered: supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, gyms; And most importantly, it’s very well connected: district line 10 min walk and the train station just outside the development. Despite not being crowded every time, finding a parking spot is hard, as there are many buildings and most of the surrounding streets are for permit holders only. APO for instance has parking spaces available but because of the stadium it’s inconvenient: if a match takes place on a weekend (which basically happens every other weekend) you can’t use the parking road 2 hours before and after the match.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Fast, assertive, and very helpful. Everything was sorted every time we had an issue, luckily it wasn’t that many, but they’ve been always mindful about our needs
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Every week they bring a food truck where residents can buy at discounted prices, it’s a nice initiative… but, if your flat view is the central square between Galleria, Marsden and the stadium, the smell is not nice, mostly in the summer

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I really enjoy living at Apo Kew Bridge. The location is great with SWR trains nearby and a lovely coffee shop downstairs. It’s pet-friendly, has regular social events, a small but decent gym, and the neighbours are friendly. However, there’s no bin chute, so taking rubbish to the basement each time is inconvenient. There’s also no tenant support after-hours, and the sound insulation from upstairs isn’t great.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are very responsive when there are problems, which I appreciate it.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew my unit gets very hot during heatwaves.
