A nice, modern development in a peaceful area with good links to central London

Verified Resident

Review Date Sep 2022

This is a modern development in a very convenient location for transport links.
The interior design is modern and simple, works well on its own or as a good canvas to personalise your flat in whichever style.
My flat in particular has several big windows and there’s always a fantastic amount of light coming through, it’s breezy and lovely.
Energy ratings for the building are fantastic and so is the internet speed. There’s also cameras all around which makes the building feel very safe.
Property management has been very friendly and is available at most times in the lobby.
There’s also two communal rooftop terraces and working spaces.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Kew Bridge is a calm, safe area with good transport links to central London and easy access to fantastic parks such as Kew Gardens

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s usually a match at the nearby football stadium every two weeks on average, the main street gets partially closed for a few hours but you can still access the building no problem.
Overall it’s less loud then I expected as it’s a somewhat small stadium – with closed windows I can barely hear the noise from my flat.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has been stellar at replying promptly to any emails

Felt like home

Review Date Sep 2022

The management team were just awesome. Friendly, funny and helpful. They always seemed calm even when there was no water.
The design throughout is clean and comfy.
I loved my flat and the view of the stadium and was surprised as to how quiet it was inside my home.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Still an up and coming area so can have some anti-social behaviour with rubbish particularly over- following onto the streets over the weekend. Transport and local shops are great. Noise levels you can’t even hear inside your flat

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only downside to the block is that some of the weekend/short term rentals have resulted in loud parties, mess and just general disrespect to a place many people call home. It seems mixing the two doesn’t work, as those long term residents have to put up with behaviour that shouldn’t be happening in your home.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes… the team were always so helpful and welcoming. Literally lovely people!

Great place to live

Overall great buildings with nice amenities except delay on the gym opening which could be managed better. Flats are nice and cozy however like everything in London is overpriced, storage space in the flats is quite limited and quality on finishes are not the best. Furniture is very expensive but then there are no tiles in the kitchen to protect walls from cooking/food prep so not very well thought through. Management team is really nice and helpful ! Really enjoyed events that they have organised so far which allows you to meet neighbours get to know people its a really nice perk!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great area with Chiswick round the corner with loads of restaurants and shops, has a lot of nice stuff. Transport links are ok could be better

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noise , there is a lot of noise from the road railway stadium building sites , so when the window or balcony is open it can get a bit annoying however windows are really good so once you close it you cant hear much at all

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Usually very quick response and i so far all been resolved quickly

Great building, area & space

Review Date Sep 2022

Design, facilities and management is great! I did expect to have the Gym facility readily available given that was the promise as the apartments were released and holding deposits were made to use that. That is a little bit disappointing but still a great building all round.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great selection of local shops, restaurants, pubs & open spaces. Not much traffic noise with the exception of construction next door but that obviously shouldn’t last too long hopefully.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the gym would take a while to be ready, despite being told otherwise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t had any problems thus far so I’ve not been required to raise any problems/issues.

Modern flats, good location

Verified Resident

Review Date Sep 2022

Right by the motorway flyover, but flats are very sound proof with the windows shut. Flats very well insulated though so need to open windows in the summer! Flats very sleekly designed. Shared spaces nice, but still waiting for gym to arrive. Management team very quick to sort problems.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Kew bridge is a beautiful area, right by the river. Lots of pubs along it to sit at and Kew Gardens is just over the river.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No option to change some bill suppliers.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and good at communicating updates, for example hot water outages

Glad to be here

Review Date Sep 2022

Had a few issues with our en-suite but they have been fixed promptly. Big fan of how big the communal areas are – especially the bbqs on the roof. Interiors have a great layout too with lots of open space. Will be nice to see it all when it’s completed

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Only gripe is being so close to the stadium and having no parking access during matches.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have been nice to be able to choose our parking space but that’s not an issue

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes. I Had a few issues with our en-suite but they have been fixed promptly.

Good, could be improved.

Review Date Sep 2022

Design: Great contemporary high-rise design. Better than 95% of house you see in London.

Facilities: The lift recently broke in underwood house and has not been fixed for 2 weeks. Gym access still not here despite living and paying for the premium price for 4 months. The Local space should have a clear divide between quite zoom and free zone so people can concentrate in co-working space. Also the bathroom there need trash bin because people throw paper towel everywhere.

Property management: the response is quick.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are some pro and cons. Kew Garden is close so we can walk there often. Not a lot of bars or restaurants. The connection is okay, the district line is a little bit far but there is a train station on the ground floor.
For groceries, there’s only a sainsbury’s nearby. I hope one day an Amazon fresh can open on the ground floor.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is no air conditioning.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The response is quick. The problem can often be solved within an hour

Great but there’s still room for improvement

Review Date Sep 2022

A good clean development, with friendly staff and minimal noise from the rest of the residents. However some of the facilities need more work. We have a lift that’s been broken for a month and a gym that still hasn’t been built. It would be great to get more communication on that.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good range of restaurants, beautiful parks, pubs and Chiswick and Richmond high streets are nearby. However there’s a lot of noise from ongoing construction in the area. Right next to Kew Bridge Station so it’s straightforward getting to central london.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d have known that the concerts in gunnersbury park can be heard from our building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes we have raised issues with the Internet and although it took a while, it’s been resolved

Awesome relaxing place to live in

Verified Resident

Review Date Aug 2022

Building design is very impressive. Lots of amenities. Gym is still not ready but the new building is adding some really impressive amenities. The packages do get lost at times but that is not on the management, probably the package delivery folks. One of the two elevators is not working for Underwood House for a little more than a week. Even if I try to think of bad things, those were the only ones I could come up with.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There is a good range of local shops and restaurants around.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing that I can think about.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever I raised a request, the property management responded very promptly.

Everything you need for easy, comfortable living

The development in general has exceeded expectations. The management and everyone that works at Apo are soo friendly and helpful! Makes it a really warm place to call home. Love the options of co-working spaces, roof terraces, yoga studio and a gym is soon coming so we have everything we need here!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

We live right opposite a train station which obviously gets noisy but the insulation keeps the sound out at night when doors and windows closed. There is a local Sainsburys just a few minutes walk away but no close restaurants, cafes etc. There is lovely walks along the thames very close and Kew Gardens and Gunnersbury so great for nature. Bus and train links very good and easy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

no parking or otherwise exceptionally expensive parking

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well – great communicating, genuinely care and so helpful

Kew Bridge is not to be overlooked!

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Aug 2022

The design of the buildings are some of the most modern I have seen to date. The lobby of my building has a high ceiling with satisfactory air conditioning. The furniture used throughout the lobbies look expensive and comfy, very welcoming. Being next to a stadium you can see that the area is kept very clean and secure. The amenities available to us are incredible. There are viewing platforms to see well into the distance of the London skyline, study and chilling areas, opportunities to host a barbecue, and more!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is great although being so far from central London is not ideal. To my knowledge there isn’t much range with the local shops but what I have found is up to a good standard in my opinion. The parking isn’t the best as there are only few public parking areas. The noise from the nearby construction site is quite persistent but that is not really Apo_’s fault and you forget the noise after a while. Other than that the scenery is great especially for watching planes go by!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the right procedure of moving in on the day. The welcome pdfs sent to me did not detail who to go to on the day to sort out my moving. I had to rely on a passing resident to point me in the right direction. Considering all the other information given to me prior to moving, I can understand that this may have just been mistakenly missed. It would be great if that didn’t happen to others trying to move in too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There was a leaky radiator and management quickly assured me of a repairman to come and fix the problem and any other problem I may raise.
