Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
'Mini' shops are around for if you've forgotten something, like Tesco Express and Coop. I wouldn't say they're great value to do big shops in. Difficult to get to big shops without a car, and the carpark is £150 a month where the half shaded areas have loads of pigeons around so I often come back to a pooped car. The non-shaded areas seem quite full. Potholes / very bumpy on both Abbey and Bingley St so worried about car all the time. Great transportation links however, there are bus stops around to City Centre and Hyde Park / Headingley. Walking distance to the station. I am on the outer perimeter of the 'C' (so do not face the carpark). Other than traffic noises from the main road, sometimes the casino can be a little rowdy but nothing yet that has affected sleep. No experience yet with neighbors. Also no issues with bin yet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They mentioned they would fix some issues before moving in but have not. However these did not affect me living in the property
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The building is really warm so you could save on electricity. Also no gas fees as have electrical radiators. Water £36 a month for 1 bed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are plenty of shops around, 20 min walk to larger shops and a couple of smaller corner shops around the area. Plenty of restaurants around. Not much parking around at all, we have private parking in the residence but it’s £150/month unless you rent a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment. Surrounded by student accommodations and it’s on a main road.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have been responsive whenever spoken to in person, and will go out of their way to fix things that can be fixed in the very moment. But whenever it’s something that requires a third-party they can take a while to get things fixed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The neighbour are mostly very nice and welcoming, although there seems to not be much interaction between them. People are just in their own worlds, you have to go out of your way to invite them.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very close and walkable to the city centre, lots of amenities (shops, pubs etc) very close. Very quiet in the building and not had any problems with noise. Parking is limited around the building if you don’t have a spot allocated.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any problems have been resolved promptly, repairs are submitted via online portal
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Parking is quite limited if you aren’t allocated a space in the car park so that’s something to bear in mind

Great design, good value for money but antisocial behaviour from residents

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good range of shops nearby and close to the city center. Bus stop right outside the building that provides access to the city and bigger supermarkets. Bin collection can be poor, the bin room is often over flowing and unhygienic. Lots of traffic noise and noise from planes flying overhead. Can also be lots of antisocial behaviour, lots of noise coming from other flats and student buildings around the development. The design of the building’s c shape means that flats overlooking the car park can hear lots of noise from other apartments.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Issues with hot water fixed fast Given free wifi which is nice
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The advertised amenities are not yet built and this was not advertised, we are paying for building benefits that don’t exist. A reduction in rent or something should have been offered in the mean time

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are local shops available like Tesco and co-op, the city centre is just 15 minutes walk from the property, there is a bus stop just few minutes walk from the property. The street isn’t so quiet as you can hear a lot of noise at night and the walls are soo thin. There is parking available on the street and within the property. Bins are collected frequently.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The response time is very slow and it takes ages for an issue to be resolved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had know about the social space not being available till end of the year, I wish I had known that the response rate was slow.
