30 Harbord Square – 5 stars!

30 Harbord square has been an absolute pleasure living in.

Adriana and the building manager Amardeep are both amazing, professional, and so incredibly helpful from the very start of the process at viewing, and throughout.

Both Adriana and Amardeep are always happy to help and any issues are resolved promptly. I’m really happy with the building management.

The cleaning staff and security team are also very friendly too.

The building is secure, clean, and has fantastic views. Rent is reasonable and the bills are pretty standard for London. That’s not fault of the building, and the council tax is tower hamlets.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love being on the Canary Wharf estate. There’s everything you need at your door. Amazon fresh, Waitrose, M&S, and Tesco to name a few grocery stores, five underground shopping malls, loads of restaurants and bars, and the best 24 hour security I’ve ever had living in London. 30 Harbord Square is within walking distance of all major transport connections. Canary Wharf tube station is closest, and there is also Heron Quays DLR, Canary Wharf DLR, South Quay DLR, and Bladkwall DLR within the walking distance. There are also numerous buses to take you around the city, and it’s less than a 5 minutes walk from the new Elizebeth line. The estate is always really clean, and the grounds are well presented.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t realise there were so many different energy providers. After obtaining quotes, I decided to remain with the original supplier who came with the property:)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Phone calls, and emails are always responded to promptly and all problems are resolved in a timely manner. There’s always someone available onsite and in the office during the day. There’s also a 24 hour emergency number.

The building has a great view and well maintained and also great sun lights coming into the houses due to it’s design excellence. The property is managed well and monitored at all times. Even the park is well lit and great for a stroll during summers.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Canary Wharf is the safest place to live in London. There are shopping malls, eateries and a lot of job opportunities in this area considering most companies and banks have their main offices here. It has parks and other facilities and makes living here a great experience altogether.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing that I can think of immediately but everything is nice.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Special Thanks to Adriana and Amardeep for managing the processes of renting and renewal. It is extremely smooth and quick. It is a very pleasant staff to coordinate with. They take immediate action on repairs or requests.

Amardeep is wonderful!

Review Date Sep 2022

Since moving into 30 Harbord Sq. in October of 2021 we have experienced nothing but the highest levels of customer care from the Building Manager and his team.
Amardeep is wonderful!
From day one he made us feel welcome and supported.
He’s demonstrated time again that our concerns are important and addressed them promptly.
He’s kind and responsive.
We moved in during a time where we all were stil facing a lot of uncertainty around Covid-19 and the ever changing restrictions/guidelines.
We had just had our daughter Nina during the first lockdown and needed to find place that we could call home and feel a part of a community.
Living at 30 has become that and more and a lot of that is down to him.
I’d also like to acknowledge Adriana.
Although we only spoke briefly over the phone, I found he to be warm and engaging. She made me feel valued and listened to.
From the cleaning staff that always say hello, to the builders downstairs who have on more then one occasion retrieved my daughters football after being kicked over wall to the site. We are grateful to them all for their hard and happy to write this review.

Great facilities

The building itself is great – nice and modern. Shame the neighbours destroy it all in no time. They don’t care for it as if it was their own.
The management could do more. Absolutely yes! There’s a tenancy contract that many don’t abide, and nothing happen to them. Is it laziness to pursue anti-social behaviour matters forward or find new tenants? I am not sure..
The good tenants that follow all rules, seem to be in disadvantage and have to put up with all the issues.
Other than the poor neighbours, Canary wharf is a fantastic area to live.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is great. Lots of restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, all you need around you. Transport links are fantastic. There’s no car parking facilities, which is not great when you want to receive visitors; unfortunately this building seems to attract people with no social manners – noise out of hours, consumption of drugs, vandalism and dirty communal areas are a constant within my neighbours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wished to be informed the profile of the neighbours.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded quickly. Nothing else to add. Nothing else to add.

Canary Wharf affordable and stylish

Review Date Jul 2022

Though the area is still being developed, the development sits comfortably in a community and centred on a small community park. The facilities are brand new and efficient.

The flat itself is large, bright and spacious. We feel very lucky to have found the place.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It’s so close to Canary Wharf which has loads of amenities. It’s also on the Jubilee line, Elizabeth Line and the DLR, meaning you’re always well connected to almost any location in London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The postcode is very new and so is different depending on which service you’re using. Just a heads up..

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There were a couple of issues we reported early on and we got a response almost instantly.

Lovely area

Your building is nice position but I’m not happy with design of balcony. It was designed by wood floor and there are a lot of slit so I can’t relax and feel uncomfortable if I stat there because there are a lot of dusty from above floor when they are moving on their floor balcony. Property managements are nice, helpful person.

Best Place Ever

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Jul 2022

The building itself is beautiful but the homes inside are outstanding. The building and property managers are also extremely friendly. As first-time renters, I would say we have had so much help from management when asking for help with things such as electricity and council tax. Overall I would say that living here has been delightful.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are plenty of activities to do at our doorstep, from restaurants to cinemas. Supermarkets such as Waitrose and Tesco’s are a walking distance from here. No form of anti-social behavior since moving here due to security patrols. One thing that I would say is that it would be nice if the bin collection can happen more often.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Working from home during summer and hearing the construction workers the whole time can be quite unpleasant.

The neighbors are so lovely!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It is so easy to get in contact with Adrianna, she has literally helped us with so much.

A lovely place to live

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Jul 2022

Good: building mgmt is quick to react to complaints (e.g. noisy neighbors) and requests. The building is clean and lovely in design. The bin room is very practical. When windows are closed, you can barely hear the traffic.

Bad: this is not building mgmt‘s fault, there are several very noisy neighbors. I also think it would be nice to have a gym or concierge in the building (but that’s just a nice to have of course).

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good: super close to the tube and DLR, very close to Canary Wharf mall and other shops/restaurants. Generally a quiet area.
Hardly any traffic noise when windows are closed.

Bad: if you’re not a fan of children, there is a lot of playing/screaming outside which makes it difficult to enjoy the balcony in the summertime.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing – the viewing was detailed and transparent.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond quickly and show that they care about the tenants‘ wellbeing and that they’re able to enjoy their homes.

The views from the flat are breathtaking

Verified Resident

Review Date Jul 2022

The flats have been designed well and are of a good quality. The rooms are a good size and there is sufficient storage space. The views from the flat are breathtaking. The building management team including Adriana and Amardeep, are doing a great job in managing the building. The team are friendly and the building is always kept clean and tidy.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is a great place to live. There is a good diverse range of shops and restaurants. The transport links are good with the Jubilee line, DLR and the Elizabeth Line being a 7-15 minutes’ walk. The area has a great selection of outdoor space including Harbord Square Park, Harbour Quay Gardens and Jubilee Park.
Harbord Square is a quiet place to live. There is always security around and the area is well lit at night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t had any issues but Amardeep and Adriana always respond to any queries we have.

Almost perfect

+ Very well designed, feels modern and fresh. Easy to decorate. The team is constantly cleaning the common areas. Extra points for the bike parking.

– Paper thin walls in between flats so if you are unlucky with neighbors, you will hear everything they do.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

+ Perfectly located, safe, easy access to public transport, nice shops and restaurants. Nice views and places to walk.

– There is a lot of construction everywhere so it can be noisy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That triple glassed windows will not help with construction noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Adriana and Amardeep are the best. Their responsiveness is incredible and they always do everything they can to help. It is really comforting to know I can rely on them for any issues.
This was my first flat in the UK and they made my onboarding swift and painless.
