Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on the marina in Ancoats is great. The local shops restaurants and bars are all that you need with some cheaper or more expensive fancier options. Nothing is more than a 10 minute walk away. The area is quiet and easy to settle into parking. It is difficult to obtain a parking space in the actual flat due to demand however there is on the street parking five minutes away. I have been here for four months now and have not experienced any antisocial behaviour or traffic noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building Management has been prompt and the issues that I have had have been fixed to the original standard.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there is an app that you can request maintenance or ask any questions.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

So far, I have no negative feedback regarding the local area. There are many perks to living in Ancoats. It is a quieter area of Manchester City centre, yet it is bustling with great bars, restaurants and cafes. It is only a short walk to the high street and plenty of work spaces.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve not had any issues thus far. The email, phone and front desk have all been helpful thus far.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

This is a great place to live as a couple or with a flatmate. Being able to have pets is such a lovely addition.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is great, surprisingly quiet for a city centre, not too many green spaces but perfect location otherwise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Only had 1 issue when we moved in with hot water but was fixed next day

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish it was clearer how to use appliances/heating/hot water

The rent is not worth the flat.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We pay for parking when that should be free to renters. The noise levels summer time are not great. The location is great. The rent price is not worth the property.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not bad - very hit and miss. Sometimes maintenance fix things, sometimes it feels as though they didn’t even try.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Pets policy. Urine and dog poo everywhere. I moved in during a time where pets were not allowed. Now the smell of urine outside and in the lifts is disgusting.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very quiet, really nice vibes around the area. Amazing on a sunny day to sit in the various bars and cafes on the water front

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very promptly, always phone you back very soon after you make a request via the app, and then it’s normally sorted in the next couple of days

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking space isn’t included - and is around 150£ per month. The surrounding streets are a bit dodgy to park on, but there are normally spaces if you want to chance it
