The best part of living in new islington is everything near by, the tram station and all the local shops you need with so much variety.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
For the management, they need more improvement as it takes long to fix anything ,
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has a lot going for it, especially if you value convenience and a balanced lifestyle. The range of local shops is strong - there are several supermarkets within a short walk, independent bakeries, pharmacies, and small convenience stores that stay open late. You don’t need to drive for everyday essentials. The restaurant scene is surprisingly good too, with a mix of casual cafés, international takeaways, and a few higher-quality dining spots for weekends. Bars are decent without being overwhelming - lively enough on Friday evenings, but not so busy that it feels rowdy. Open spaces are a real highlight. There are well-maintained parks nearby with walking paths and playgrounds, and it’s easy to get some fresh air without leaving the neighbourhood. That’s a big plus for families and anyone who exercises outdoors. Transport links are generally reliable. There are frequent bus services and a train station within reasonable distance, making commuting straightforward. During peak hours, though, traffic can build up on the main roads and buses occasionally run late. Parking is mixed - on-street parking is available but fills up in the evenings, so residents sometimes have to park a little further away. On the street itself, it’s mostly quiet and residential. Bin collections are regular and streets are kept fairly clean. There’s occasional noise from passing traffic, but it’s manageable. Anti-social behaviour isn’t a major issue, though you might hear some late-night noise on weekends. Overall, it’s a convenient, practical place to live with solid amenities and only minor downsides.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team has generally responded promptly to issues raised. Minor maintenance requests are acknowledged quickly and resolved within a reasonable timeframe, while more urgent problems have been handled efficiently. Communication is usually clear, though occasional follow-ups have been needed for more complex matters.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I’d known before moving in is how busy parking becomes in the evenings. During a viewing, it’s easy to visit during the day and assume there’s plenty of space, but after 6pm it can fill up quickly, especially if residents have visitors. I’d advise new neighbours to understand the parking arrangements early and, if possible, secure an allocated space. I also didn’t fully appreciate how service charges can increase year to year. It’s worth reviewing past budgets and planned works in detail so you’re not surprised later. On the positive side, the community here is friendlier than you might expect from a viewing, joining any resident groups or chats early on helps you settle in faster and stay informed about what’s happening in the building
