Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A good collection of shops from pharmacy, hair salons, sportswear, fashion, household items, telecom providers and banks. Variety of cafés, bars & restaurants available. About 10 mins walk from train station, bus stop just round the corner or a few mins walk, many routes! No traffic noise living in Windsor House. Some noise from planes though, but acceptable. Public parking available within 10 mins away. We love to be living not far from River Thames.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes and respond fairly quickly. The had replaced parts for the toilet, replaced light bulbsfor us.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noises made by kids when they played in the podium garden and chats by residents in the garden can be a nuisance. And the garden is much loved.

Great Location, Poor Management

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location couldn’t be better, right next to the railway station, and with a convenience store downstairs. Plenty to do in the local area and easy to get to.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As previously mentioned, building management has previously either ignored issues entirely, or taken weeks to respond. A basic maintenance fault has taken nearly 10 weeks to fix.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we had known that the poor building management would have existed - it probably would have swayed us to just rent from a private landlord, rather than a proper managed company.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very nice, quiet, and safe commuter area with excellent transport links to London. It’s also right next to Stansted Airport, which is extremely convenient for travel.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues I had with the flat were dealt with immediately. I always received a prompt response, and solutions were put in place straight away, which is something that’s hard to find. The building manager was always proactive and worked quickly to resolve any issues, making the whole experience stress-free.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing to mention, the fact that it’s a landlord who really cares makes the whole experience a lot better.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Redhill has a good range of shops and restaurants that is constantly improving. That aligned with great travel connections to London, Brighton and major London airports makes this a great location

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes efficiently and quickly with solutions and support

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing I did not know that would have been useful

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Kooky Redhill is well situated, quiet, and a very good place to live. Bin collections are frequent and timely, management responsive, and the location is very convenient. The only downsides are cost utilities and train noise if the windows are open.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The maintenance line was good. When I raised issues with the on site management they were very prompt as well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Train noise with the window open - though I’d say it’s minor.

Manager response

Hi Leah, Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you’ve enjoyed living at Kooky Redhill and that you’ve found the team friendly and helpful. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to provide a great resident experience.
