The cinema and ten pin bowling is also a minute away which is handy for those winter nights out

any time i have had an issue it has been resolved very quickly and efficiently

Concerns regarding Kooky Whetstone

Jack (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Kooky Whetstone, N20

Jul 2024

Sadly the Kooky Whetstone development suffers from antisocial behaviours by (a small minority) of residents in Burr and Carmen courts. Smoking on balconies and loud music playing frequently. This is not in keeping with the luxury claim of the development. This has been raised directly by e-mail with Kooky Whetstone team. It would be helpful if Kooky were on site and did checks for antisocial behaviour. This review is three months after another reviewer’s comment regarding noise and anti-social behaviour that persists. The flats themselves and location are excellent but the anti-social behaviour spoils quiet enjoyment of the development. A concerned Kooky Whetstone resident

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Whetstone is a gray area and the location of the flat is ideal for accessing the local amenities. Great transport links: tube buses very nearby and overland train easy to get to. Sadly, anti-social behaviour in the development is a major negative aspect in the development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Kooky have also been directly contacted but the problems persist sadly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Previous concerns regarding noise in the development

Nice looking and modern design

Andrea (Tenant)

Kooky Bishop's Stortford, CM23

Jun 2024

Nice looking and modern design. Flats are all provided with basic appliances such as washing machine-dryer and dish washer. Kitchen is functional. Bedrooms are equipped with double beds. Broadband present. Quality of some pieces of furniture such as dressers, tables, bedside tables, chairs etc... could be improved. Overall a very good package.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Train station located in front of the building. All main shops and restaurants are all within walking distance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management is always quick at addressing issues and queries. Our manager, Alicia, is always helpful and understanding. Worth mentioning is also her availability at providing maintenance personnel access to our apartment whenever it requires servicing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Estimate costs for electrical bills and water bills.

Hi Andrea, Thank you for taking time out to write Kooky such a lovely review. We are delighted to hear that you are settled and enjoying your time here. Your kind words are truly appreciated, and I feel fortunate to assist you both. Regarding our facilities management, Adam has recently joined us and has already demonstrated great dedication and skill in improving our community. We have been relying on our developer to address certain defects during the defect period, and these areas are progressing well under Adam's excellent management and monitoring. My team and I prioritize ensuring that your stay with us is as comfortable and stress-free as possible, and we deeply value your appreciation. I look forward to seeing you both soon. Best regards, Alicia

The best thing about living in Kooky Redhill is the first class building management

Khalid (Tenant)

Kooky Redhill, RH1

Jun 2024

The best thing about living in Kooky Redhill is the first class building management. Charlie has been the most helpful, understanding and responsive building manager we met in the UK. The design of the building is quite pleasant and the facilities are very good.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The building management is excellent, the location, convenience and availability, bin collection are all quite good. However, the heat and water company has excessively high rates compared to other companies we dealt with in the UK.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management is excellent, Charlie has always responded promptly and has always been very helpful

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The rates of the heat and water company are excessive.

Kooky expereince!

Kooky Redhill is a great development. With a gym and co-working space, you literally would not need to leave if you didn't want to. The Garden is great and a nice place to relax during the day. My flat had a balcony, which was slightly on the noisy side as it was on the road, so the garden is a great place to chill out for some quiet.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Redhill is a great place to live in terms of location in London. It is about 30 minutes by train to Victoria or London Bridge, which is excellent. Redhill is relatively quiet, but there is a good shopping centre for urgent needs behind it. On top of that, Redhill is close to some fantastic walks, and its accessibility to Reigate is excellent!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had a great experience from the day I moved into my kooky flat. Charlie was so helpful and easy to contact if I had issues. The team has really gone above and beyond to support my needs while I was living here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I moved into my apartment quickly after I had had problems with other landlords in the area messing around; when I found Kooky, it was the easiest and smoothest experience. I would say my biggest insight is to meet people in the building but dont listen to everything that gets passed around and instead speak to charlie if you have any concerns. I would also say learn how to use the heating properly as it is super easy and smart when you know how to use it! I had to learn that!
