Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The surrounding area is somewhat run down, although a Sainsbury’s is due to open nearby. However, this was originally promised to open over a year ago and has yet to do so. At present, the nearest supermarket is at least a 25-minute walk away, making the location less convenient for everyday shopping. One of the building’s key advantages is the attractive views from one side. However, the remaining three sides overlook neighbouring buildings or a busy main road. Parking is also limited. All allocated spaces are currently occupied, with parking available at an additional cost of £75 per month when spaces become available. There is no guest parking, which can make it inconvenient for visitors and may feel isolating for residents who regularly receive guests.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building manager responded poorly to issues that were raised. Maintenance concerns were often dismissed rather than addressed, and we were told that some building defects would have to be paid for by us, despite them appearing to result from the building’s design. Complaints were not handled professionally, communication was dismissive, and when we continued to raise legitimate concerns, we felt we were treated unfairly and ultimately asked to leave through no fault of our own.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would have liked to know about the recurring security issues, including the frequent failures of the entrance doors, the quality of the building management, and how maintenance concerns were handled. I also would have wanted to know that residents raising legitimate complaints could be met with dismissive or unprofessional responses. Better transparency about the condition of the facilities, such as the gym equipment, and the limited provision of entry fobs would also have helped me make a more informed decision before moving in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The only downside is now near by coffee shop etc, however you are 15 min walk from Birkenhead Park and Oxton Village just beyond that. Local bus gets you into New Brighton and Victoria Road within 15 mins or a quick uber ride
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Within a few days, however the only issue I had was me breaking the curtain chain, which they replaced within a few days
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If any more developments are going to happen, good news is that Sainsbury’s is opening this summer

Do not consider this place if you want a peaceful and drama-free life

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Not much around as it's an area slowly (very slowly) being redeveloped. A Sainsbury's Local is coming soon right next to the complex, though.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
By ignoring them. We will be leaving our flat next week without any of the issues raised (the first ones from June last year) solved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
- there is NOTHING around - management is unprofessional and unbothered - the flats have a lot of building issues

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is being redeveloped so don't expect many amenities around. The parking is a nightmare unless you pay an extortionate £75 per month for parking (and you don't even get an allocated space). Close to Liverpool and public transports.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Unfortunately, having the slightest issue dealt with requires to waste a lot of time if you want anything done at all.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There were not many reviews of the complex when I moved in November 2024, as I was one of the first wave of people moving in, and I hope people considering Miller's Quay will read them thoroughly before applying for an apartment.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It's nice leaving by the water and being 10 minutes away from Birkenhead, Wallasey and Liverpool. On the other hand, the council is refusing to add some pedestrian facilities even though Dock Road and Duke street are busy roads and dangerous to cross. A Sainsbury's Local was supposed to open this autumn right by Millers Quay but they haven't even started building the foundations yet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They dont. They will never be held accountable for anything, always blaming it on others.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I really wish I was told before even considering this place that it was so poorly managed by such unprofessional property managers.
