Such a shame that the property managers are so useless

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Dock Road and its surrounding area don't have much to offer, however the bus and train station nearby make it really easy to go to anywhere (Liverpool is just 15mn away). Some more developments are to come apparently, including a supermarket (it was supposed to open as I write this review but building hasn't even started yet). Parking is a bit of an issue for many people, the non-nominative parking spot is an extra £75 which is a bit of a rip off.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
It's is incredibly hard to get anything done in a timely manner, they either don't reply, close your maintenance requested by marking them as complete, or just don't take any responsibility for anything.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I have never rented a place before where it takes at least 4/5 weeks to get a problem sorted by the landlord. This is absolutely appalling and anyone considering renting here should be aware of how unhelpful and unwilling to do their job JLL are...

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living by the water on the docks is nice, but the area itself has no close-by amenities and poor transport links.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance has to be requested via the complex's app however you have to chase again and again before they do anything...
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We wouldn't have moved here if we had known how terrible JLL is

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The development itself does nit have much around it, its an old industrial area so will take time to get developed although JLL still charge you as if its in the middle of a city.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They told me that snags are jot done when you move in, they are just compared to a list when you move out. They came to fix a blind issue I had but took off the wall guard so now the chain just hangs, lazy!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wish I had done more research on JLL ajd wish I had done more research on the parking situation.

So this my take on living at millers quay I live in steam yard so this review is my experience of this building only my flat is more than adequate for me and my wife although could do with a few more plug sockets I’ve lived here since October 24 first 6 months was great but as it’s got fuller some residents don’t take pride in where they live as some let there pets pee poo even be sick in lifts and don’t clean it up after them people drop litter in the lift landing Area and just leave it for other people to clean up after them. There is shops about 15 mins walk or short drive transport links are great to Liverpool and surrounding areas I pay £50 to park which can afford but still think it’s robbery but were there is money to be made there is always greed as you have no other option other than parking miles away from were you live noise levels are ok you only here sirens but that’s perils of the location ie main road by Liverpool tunnel sound prop in the flats are great don’t hear neighbours at all bin collection is always on time unfortunately a few things are making us look for somewhere else to live like some people not all being in clean not being able to change electricity supplier parking although I pay now and I can afford it there is no way I’m paying more than the £50 I pay now I have a disability 1 leg and people who don’t have a blue badge are parking in disability bays management have sent countless emails over the past year about people parking in these bays but they fall on deaf ears because people still continue to park were they shouldn’t also family don’t come and visit anymore because there’s no parking this was not thought out when planning to build these flats or was it planned this way to get more money probably
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
99.9 they have responded well apart from the last maintenance issue ie crack in ceiling it says work completed but crack is still there it’s not massive but you think they’d want to keep what is the investment not mine up to scratch
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I wasn’t told I could change my electricity supplier which was told I could on the day of viewing we we’re also told we would have one of the spaces outside are flat

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
A lot of traffic as Dock Road is a major road but we had a flat on the waterfront. There is not much around, but apparently things are being planned for the next few years.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Most of the maintenance requests were never dealt with.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the complec is cheap in terms of building, with a lot of problems.
