No parking, Weed Smell Everywhere and No Support

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living here has been a terrible experience. There’s nowhere to park anywhere near your own home, and the constant smell of weed seeps both outside and inside. Anti-social behaviour is a regular issue, making the area feel unsafe, and the sound of sirens never seems to stop. Definitely not somewhere I’d recommend.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We were brushed off and ignored. They literally do not care about you at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the “beautiful” view is fake and you can’t park anywhere near your flat and they will ticket you!

Lovely complex, awful management

Andrew (Tenant)

Millers Quay, CH41

Aug 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There's pretty much nothing around the complex but this is to be expected as the area is being slowly redeveloped. Parking has been a problem since day 1 as people park over the entrances and on the pavement (where they recently put some concrete blocks, which did not solve the issue but had the opposite effect). When you raise it to the property managers they will lie to your face and basically won't do anything. Double yellow lines are being implemented on Dock Road to tackle the problem, however only because the nearby Stena petitioned for them with the Council. In addition, there is around 300 parking spots (£75 a month and not even allocated) for 500 flats, and no visitors or disabled parking whatsoever. Once again, the property managers could not care less as long as they get our money.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

By a message on the app but never in a timely manner

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That every issue you raise would take weeks to get solved

Nice place but awful management

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Industrial area being redeveloped so there is not much there, however it is very easy to get anywhere with your car or with public transports. Parking is ok if you are willing to pay, however there's been a huge issue with the entrances and the lack of visibility due to people parking everywhere and where they are not supposed to, and JLL, the property managers won't do anything about it despite being aware of it (residents have emailed them on multiple occasions (emails that are clearly being purposefully ignored by anyone from JLL working on site). There are accidents waiting to happen because of this, but they don't seem to care about the safety of their tenants.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have't responded at all on many occasions, or only after 3 or 4 chasers or a visit to their office (where they usually hide)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about all the odd things that have not been fixed despite many requests, or about the property managers not caring at all.

Manager response

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your desire for anonymity, which regrettably prevents us from contacting you directly. If you are a tenant at Millers Quay and would like to discuss specific concerns about your apartment, please email Millers.Quay@jll.com. We will respond to your enquiry as promptly as possible. Please note that external parking issues fall outside our jurisdiction. For assistance with these matters, we recommend contacting Wirral Council directly. We are committed to addressing residents' concerns to the best of our ability. Thank you

Nice place to live but the property managers need to tackle some serious problems

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are not many shops around which can be a bit inconvenient at time, but I guess that's ok since you can get most things delivered. Being right by the water is great and the view over Liverpool is delightful. You can get to Liverpool in 15/20 minutes either by bus or train, which is great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They won't always answer in a timely manner, or not at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that small or big issues would not be addressed straight away by management

Manager response

Dear A D, thank you for leaving such a detailed review. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you sharing it. Your feedback is important, and we welcome the chance to understand more and see how we can help. Please feel free to reach out directly at Millers.Quay@jll.com, and we will be more than happy to look into this further with you. Kind Regards,
