Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is really good, theres a lot of greenery nearby like Greenwich park and blackheath common. Cutty sark and greenwich market is on walkable distance. There are two railway stations nearby, one DLR stn. and night bus connectivity is also great!…. Only downside is that the nearest shopping center is Lewisham and we have to for groceries near Lewisham.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Last year the building management was really really bad. Half of the issues took a year to resolve but it seems to be improving with the new building manager, hopefully it does.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Right after I moved in, there were scaffolding placed around the building with no access to podium garden and sunlight! It should have been informed to us about this before we signed the contract.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Lochrin Quay is absolutely amazing. I’m so close to many shops and restaurants. The flat is less than a five minute walk away from the nearest bus stop, which makes it very easy for people like me who have to take public transportation every day. Because we are further away from the street there’s very little traffic noise as well. It also helps that the flat is positioned right next to the canal, which is beautiful!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has not brought any issues since we have moved in. Any issues that have been brought up to them are addressed swiftly, and they ensure that they work around our busy schedule, which is greatly appreciated.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Although the building is further away from the road, there is still a lot of of human traffic around the canal area. Sometimes this can get quite noisy. Although this isn’t usually a problem, I have experienced instances where it gets loud during late hours of the night.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is peaceful and friendly, with a good mix of shops, cafes and green spaces nearby. Transport links are convenient — buses and tube stations are within walking distance. Parking is usually available, and the street is quiet and well maintained. Bin collections are regular and reliable.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always been responsive and helpful. They usually reply quickly and take action to solve any issues in a reasonable time. Overall, communication and support have been positive.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how quiet and peaceful the area actually is — it’s even better than I expected. Also, sometimes parking can be a bit limited in the evenings, so it’s good to plan for that. Overall, it’s a very comfortable and safe place to live.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in Lochrin Quay is generally very pleasant. The area has a great range of local shops and cafes, especially around Fountainbridge and the Union Canal. There are several supermarkets nearby and plenty of open spaces like Bruntsfield Links and The Meadows within walking distance, which is very handy. Transport links are also very good, there are frequent buses to the city centre and nearby train and tram connections, although traffic can get quite busy during rush hours. The street itself is usually quiet and well-maintained, with regular bin collections and secure parking, though visitor spaces can be limited. There’s very little anti-social behaviour, and the canalside location gives it a nice relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had a few issues such as water leaks, but the building management responded quickly and had everything fixed promptly and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d known that parking spaces for visitors can be quite limited, especially during weekends.
