Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is being redeveloped so don't expect many amenities around. The parking is a nightmare unless you pay an extortionate £75 per month for parking (and you don't even get an allocated space). Close to Liverpool and public transports.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Unfortunately, having the slightest issue dealt with requires to waste a lot of time if you want anything done at all.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There were not many reviews of the complex when I moved in November 2024, as I was one of the first wave of people moving in, and I hope people considering Miller's Quay will read them thoroughly before applying for an apartment.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It's nice leaving by the water and being 10 minutes away from Birkenhead, Wallasey and Liverpool. On the other hand, the council is refusing to add some pedestrian facilities even though Dock Road and Duke street are busy roads and dangerous to cross. A Sainsbury's Local was supposed to open this autumn right by Millers Quay but they haven't even started building the foundations yet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They dont. They will never be held accountable for anything, always blaming it on others.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I really wish I was told before even considering this place that it was so poorly managed by such unprofessional property managers.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There’s no nearby shops to walk to if you need some bits - you’d need a car. The road is very busy, especially at peak times and there’s always temporary traffic lights and road works due to continued developments. Also zero parking for visitors which makes life quite lonely!!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very rude, passive aggressive, anrgumentative, accusatory, and arrogant.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d have met *Name Removed* before I moved in. That man is so disgusting. I also wish I knew that I was in allowed to have visitors stay.
Manager response
Hi Jello1205, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and taking the time to leave us a review. We value your feedback, as it helps us understand your experiences better. Regarding parking at Millers Quay, I want to clarify that spaces are reserved for residents who pay a monthly fee. Introducing a flexible parking scheme could disrupt the convenience of our residents, and we must prioritize their needs accordingly. With this in mind, I cannot provide further guidance on the ticket your friend received, especially since numerous signs in the car park specify that unregistered vehicles may incur fines. Concerning your comments on pets, we aim to ensure the safety of both dogs and residents, hence the requirement that dogs remain on leads. This is outlined in the pet addendum agreed upon during tenancy. While we cannot provide duplicate keys to non-tenants—due to rental legislation constraints—we do facilitate access for dog walkers via our reception team. I appreciate your feedback on the area, and while we inform prospective tenants to explore the surroundings and building location before applying, traffic on Dock Road is unfortunately beyond our control. Visitors are indeed welcome at Millers Quay, so please let us know more about any confusion you might have had. Also, I am keen to learn further from your comments regarding management interactions—although I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you personally, our team's correspondence has been professional and friendly. I look forward to discussing this further with you. Kind regards,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Dock Road and its surrounding area don't have much to offer, however the bus and train station nearby make it really easy to go to anywhere (Liverpool is just 15mn away). Some more developments are to come apparently, including a supermarket (it was supposed to open as I write this review but building hasn't even started yet). Parking is a bit of an issue for many people, the non-nominative parking spot is an extra £75 which is a bit of a rip off.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
It's is incredibly hard to get anything done in a timely manner, they either don't reply, close your maintenance requested by marking them as complete, or just don't take any responsibility for anything.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I have never rented a place before where it takes at least 4/5 weeks to get a problem sorted by the landlord. This is absolutely appalling and anyone considering renting here should be aware of how unhelpful and unwilling to do their job JLL are...

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living by the water on the docks is nice, but the area itself has no close-by amenities and poor transport links.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance has to be requested via the complex's app however you have to chase again and again before they do anything...
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We wouldn't have moved here if we had known how terrible JLL is
