Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

So this my take on living at millers quay I live in steam yard so this review is my experience of this building only my flat is more than adequate for me and my wife although could do with a few more plug sockets I’ve lived here since October 24 first 6 months was great but as it’s got fuller some residents don’t take pride in where they live as some let there pets pee poo even be sick in lifts and don’t clean it up after them people drop litter in the lift landing Area and just leave it for other people to clean up after them. There is shops about 15 mins walk or short drive transport links are great to Liverpool and surrounding areas I pay £50 to park which can afford but still think it’s robbery but were there is money to be made there is always greed as you have no other option other than parking miles away from were you live noise levels are ok you only here sirens but that’s perils of the location ie main road by Liverpool tunnel sound prop in the flats are great don’t hear neighbours at all bin collection is always on time unfortunately a few things are making us look for somewhere else to live like some people not all being in clean not being able to change electricity supplier parking although I pay now and I can afford it there is no way I’m paying more than the £50 I pay now I have a disability 1 leg and people who don’t have a blue badge are parking in disability bays management have sent countless emails over the past year about people parking in these bays but they fall on deaf ears because people still continue to park were they shouldn’t also family don’t come and visit anymore because there’s no parking this was not thought out when planning to build these flats or was it planned this way to get more money probably

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

99.9 they have responded well apart from the last maintenance issue ie crack in ceiling it says work completed but crack is still there it’s not massive but you think they’d want to keep what is the investment not mine up to scratch

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I wasn’t told I could change my electricity supplier which was told I could on the day of viewing we we’re also told we would have one of the spaces outside are flat

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A lot of traffic as Dock Road is a major road but we had a flat on the waterfront. There is not much around, but apparently things are being planned for the next few years.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most of the maintenance requests were never dealt with.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the complec is cheap in terms of building, with a lot of problems.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I had a parking space and always got parked outside the block I was living in. Bin area was always kept clean and tidy as well as the general cleanliness around the communal areas. Security team are very approachable and always help when needed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management team have always been around to speak to and provide any help when needed. All issues raised were resolved prompt and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Apartments are very quiet inside, can’t really hear any noise or the lift from inside your apartment.

Manager response

We are delighted to hear that you had a positive experience at our property. Your kind words mean a lot to us and motivate our team to continue providing exceptional service. Thank you.

Think twice before you consider Millers Quay

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There isn't much around, the area is being developed with delays. Public transports are quite good, but crossing a road is a safety hazard as the council says its up to Peel to pay for pedestrian facilities, and Peel say it's up to the council,,,

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have never responded in a timely manner, if not at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We would have liked to know about all the premises and appliances issues.

No parking, Weed Smell Everywhere and No Support

Tom (Tenant)

Millers Quay, CH41

Sept 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living here has been a terrible experience. There’s nowhere to park anywhere near your own home, and the constant smell of weed seeps both outside and inside. Anti-social behaviour is a regular issue, making the area feel unsafe, and the sound of sirens never seems to stop. Definitely not somewhere I’d recommend.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We were brushed off and ignored. They literally do not care about you at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the “beautiful” view is fake and you can’t park anywhere near your flat and they will ticket you!

Manager response

Good afternoon Tom, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We value your input and are committed to addressing your concerns. We take reports of serious issues, such as illegal activity, very seriously. It appears we haven't heard from you directly regarding these concerns, and I encourage you to reach out so we can address them promptly. Regarding the frequent sirens you hear, please note that Dock Road is a primary route for Emergency Services due to nearby Police, Ambulance, and Fire Stations, which could explain the noise. About parking, it was available for lease at the time of your reservation. I'm sorry to hear about the ticket you received, but it may have resulted from parking restrictions beyond our control. Concerning your views on the waterfront, all apartments are shown in person before finalizing applications. If there's been a misunderstanding, please contact us to explore this further. Our management team is here to support you and provide assistance. Please feel free to reach out at millers.quay@jll.com with any further queries or concerns.
