Nice appartments let down by all the management staff firstly keeping this review anonymous as im a current resident here and management have evicted residents in the past for comments made on apps/websites the actual apartment is nice, im in an unfurnished but have seen the furnished apartments too and the quality of the furnishings seems good. parking - there is currently a wait list for the parking that i have been unable to get a parking spot after more than 6 months being on the list meaning you have to park on the streets around millers quay. this is limited as the ammount of double yellow lines that have now been put down anti-social behaviour - there have been a lot of anti-social behaviour as of late. local teenagers have decided this is their hang out spot. thowing stuff in the dock, assaulting security staff and damaging our working/gym space meaning that the staff have now decided to close the gym and working space at 6pm going forward. buildings are un-secure - the access here is supposed to be fob access meaning you only get to access the building you live in however most buildings have broken door locks that management seem to have no problems just leaving broken. anyone can walk into any of the buildings and management dont seem to care

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

aweful - very slow responding to emails and dont seem to care about issues

We just moved to the UK and found our Quay facing apartment and we said yes immediately to staying there, in fact we asked of they apartments were for sale. Loved our stay at Millers Quay and have tons of video's of the ships coming and going. Apartment is very spacious with lovely sized rooms. Our apartment was furnished and comfortable. Sods Law the Sainsbury's opened a months before we left, and very convenient. Ian and his team were very helpful and supportive during our stay. We left as we have now brought our own home.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Ian and his team looked after us and responded to any help we needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Initially having no immediate access to shops was a snag, but we made it an event and enjoyed our walks through Birkenhead Park to Pyramid's shopping center. There was a bus service with a bus stop nearby. The opening of Sainsbury's was of great help and very convenient.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is one of the best things about living at Miller’s Quay. It’s right on the waterfront with great views and plenty of space for walking, while still being very convenient for Birkenhead and Liverpool. Transport links are excellent, particularly the nearby Merseyrail stations and buses, and Liverpool city centre is very easy to reach. There are supermarkets and everyday amenities close by, although the immediate area around the development is still developing and could benefit from more cafés, restaurants and shops. Generally, I found the area quiet and pleasant, with very little traffic noise or antisocial behaviour.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Everything I raised I received a reply. Communal repairs seemed slow as it was outsourced.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the opening date of the new Sainsbury's. It literally opened a few days before I moved out.

Great place for a young couple, especially for location and connections. Also now much more convenient with the local Sainsbury's!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had minimal issues to raise but any concerns that we have could be logged via the app or reception and addressed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would love to have known how practical the flats are- both internally with the storage space and layout as well as practically of access to Liverpool and the Wirral. There is bike storage, always a parking space avaliable and great gym

Honestly there was nothing to complain about at all living in Miller Quays, I really loved it and will miss the place. I only ever intended to move in for the last 6 months of my studies at uni, and moved out because I’m graduating this month, and going to move back home and work closer to my family home. If I had to stay in Liverpool however, I would definitely have stayed at Millers Quay. The rent is very affordable especially for all the space you get. Lovely size kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. My own washing machine. No appliance ever broke down on me and the structure of the property was really amazing. Great gym and study space. Amazing docks. The only thing that made living here a bit difficult is the parking facilities as I did get anxious a few times whether I was going to get a parking space as close as possible, especially when carrying shopping back home. However, I never actually got into a situation where I had no where to park or had to park far away in the 6 months living here. And whenever I did need to carry something heavy I just parked outside the building and then moved my car before 30 minutes, so all was fine!

Can’t comment as never had a maintenance issue. Never had a problem

Wasn’t familiar much with Wallasey/birkenhead so would have liked to know more about local fun things to do
