They are a really friendly and professional team. Highly recommend

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

This is the perfect area location wise, with a DLR station around the corner and shops a stones throw away. The harbour is lovely to walk around and the area is very safe.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about the building work going on, however the properties are sound proof and you can hardly hear anything

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the furniture in the property and the kitchen and appliances are great and brand new!

Manager Response

Hi Laura Jane, what a lovely review. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this review! Really thrilled to hear the team responded fast to your issue and glad you like our furniture and kitchen appliances. I will be sure to share with the team at Sailmakers.

So much better than renting from previous landlords. I feel safe in the knowledge that Fizzy won’t mess me around or do anything unpredictable – and always do their best to help us with any issues we have such as repairs, looking out for parcels or answering questions.

Fizzy Canning Town is a nice place to live – I’ve been in the building for around three years now. I’ve lived in two different flats and they’ve both been finished to a high standard – none of the usual issues you might get in a London rental such as mould, damp or mice! Customer service is brilliant – our Bob, Serina is great as were our previous Bobs Daniel and Bilal. We’re allowed pets, parcels are received while we’re out at work and repairs are done very swiftly. We also receive an annual flat clean. We’ve stayed this long because we like it so much. Only thing I miss is an active Facebook forum for the building, but there is still a sense of community as many people have been here a while and we also chat to Serina.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great location for the underground and DLR – only a few minutes away. Not so great at the moment for local cafes but it’s improving and it’s so easy to jump on the tube. Really hoping for more supermarkets at some point and a new retail development is coming.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the angle of the sun as our balcony doesn’t get much sun at the moment. But it is also worth considering that in summer it can get pretty hot as the flats are very well insulated (great for winter!). Worth getting a fan / some sort of air con machine if you can especially if you are on higher floors.

The happiest renter in town!

There are so many reasons why I love Fizzy,
Trying to think about them all makes me dizzy.
I’m currently a resident at Fizzy Canning Town,
and since living there I have never been down.

Fizzy Canning Town is a friendly place to live,
There are so many residents I have become friends with.
I have also made some great four-legged friends,
That make me wish that my time in Fizzy never ends.

The flat itself is nice and new,
and from my room I have a great view.
If anything ever does go wrong,
We have lovely maintenance who are there in a dong.

Fizzy Canning Town is on the Jubilee Line,
Meaning that we can be in the City in no time.
I love the area and Fitness4Less,
To live in Fizzy I truly am blessed.

We are also lucky to have Serina as our Bob,
She really is great at the job.
I love it how we come home to treats,
and a foyer filled with chocolate and sweets.

Overall, I couldn’t think of a better place to live,
Fizzy living really does have a lot to give.
I think I am the happiest tenant in town,
because when it comes to renting, Fizzy really does take the crown.

Feel safe in the area
Some good shops e.g. Savers
Lots of potential for development

Wonderful!

Fizzy is everything renting in the big city should be. No rip-off landlords, substandard living standards or poor service here! Fizzy and their team of Bobs (property managers) are renowned for cultivating a community in their buildings, something often lacking from apartment living in London. Neighbours are friendly and Tia, our Bob is always smiling, kind and helpful.

This is the second Fizzy apartment we’ve lived in and plan to stay settled here for the next couple of years. The Poplar location in particular is well located with dozens of transport links and Bartlett Park quite literally on the doorstep. The Poplar Union sits just opposite the park offering in-house roasted coffee and baked goods, plus 2 performance studios for live music, yoga, rehearsals and more. A superb space to work in for those who work remotely and great for families with a warm and welcoming feeling.

Fizzy pride themselves on being the ultimate pet-friendly landlord and this is true with their well stocked pet stations at the building’s entrance. This year, there was even a Christmas hamper left for all the furry friends to join in the festive fun. So nice and thoughtful.

The Poplar site has great concierge services so that you never miss a parcel (and if you do then you know its safe) and an on-site residents gym; a relatively well equipped work-out zone to keep active. A new outdoor gym, dog-walking area and accessible playground are planned for development in the neighbouring Bartlett park making this an even more exciting place to want to live for tenants of any kind.

Fizzy also throw great icebreakers and get-togethers for the residents, further developing the atmosphere that makes its residents want to stay so long. Many of the people we’ve met in the building have been there for several years and are so happy they don’t plan on moving any time soon. I’m confident that we fall into this bracket as well!

We’ve loved our Fizzy experience and expect that we shall continue to for the foreseeable. Highly recommended.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Fizzy Poplar boasts superb amenities, great transport links, access to shopping and green spaces. The only downside is that once you get onto the street outside of the development, the quality drop is immediately evident. There is a big problem with persistant dog fouling on the pavement as well as dozens of laughing gas canisters often littering the street. This has nothing to do with Fizzy as such, but is still a bit of a pain nonetheless.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

On-street parking around the area is very limited, as is the underground parking.

Staff is at service at all times, which makes you feel exclusive.

We are a family of four who were accustomed to living in a detached house with a spacious garden in our home country, Turkey. Considering the disadvantages of living in such a house with a high maintenance cost, struggling with vermin and pests and vulnerability, we decided to live in a flat here in Sutton when we moved to England. Before moving, we meticulously researched places where school offsted scores should be high and where crime rates should be low. Sutton came out from many resources.
Of the various alternatives around the area, No 16 Sutton Plaza seemingly has the greatest number of amenities in every respect as public, natural, safety and so on. This alone is enough to decide to move in. Over and above, you will see more inside. Staff is at service at all times, which makes you feel exclusive. Perfect sound insulation, adequate ventilation system and fabulous panoramic London skyline which, of course, is eligible for my apartment, Flat ## and the flats above us, are all the valuable assets of this development.
Nowadays we all feel tense, nervous and strained isolating ourselves during this lockdown. Under such adverse conditions having all negative feelings, you open the door and find three packets of quality teas on the threshold with a letter on saying good appetite. These people in the administration know how to make residents smile. We thank you very much for your generosity and efforts to make the residents join activities online to stay relaxed and well.
As for the cons, rental for a flat with two rooms is as high as a house with four rooms around the immediate area. It was much cheaper when we moved in June. House rentals in the area appear to have decreased.

Cordially yours
Mehmet Ozaksu

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I should have learned whether the flat is eligible for homeoffice. Window cleaning twice a year is not enough for flats with huge windows.

What is the best feature of your home:

Day and night panoramic London skyline view seen from my flat makes me relaxed. Window frames are big enough to provide such a view.
