The apartment excels in every aspect, from its aesthetic appeal to its building performance

The development is in e good position. 20 minute walk from Bath spa train station and the city centre. It would have been amazing to have a closer link to the Bath Uni campus, but except for that, the links to amenities are excellent.

Please review your development:

The apartment excels in every aspect, from its aesthetic appeal to its building performance. I particularly value thermal and acoustic insulation, both of which are impeccable in this apartment. Additionally, I appreciate that the flooring is not carpeted, enhancing its appeal. The orientation is another highlight, offering sunlight throughout the day. However, I do miss having a terrace.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that I could not bring my mattress. The fact that the apartment comes either fully furnished or completely unfurnished is a bit of an inconvenience, as my partner and I both have back problems and we need our own mattress. The idea of storing the apartment’s mattress in a rental box to make room for our mattress is not convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, the building management has consistently responded to any concerns or issues I’ve raised, always providing clear and prompt solutions.

We feel secure because it’s a private residential building

This most convenient location for us because it is near to our workplace and our son’s school. And most importantly it is perhaps 10-15 mins walk from the City Centre and shops are just nearby like lidl and tesco.

Please review your development:

We feel secure because it’s a private residential building. We can now access our parcels without bothering the receptionist as well. We’ve viewed loads of units and every unit is different I guess but we feel like it could have been better if for example the bedroom is much bigger than the living room for some of the 1 bedroom units. Like the layout probably needs improvement. It is quite expensive but we do understand because we’re paying for the good services, facilities, security and maintenance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The layout of the unit and the increase of the payment. But don’t get me wrong this is a good place.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, Pete always has the solutions and would sometimes recommend what are the things we can purchase that won’t ruin the wall paint for instance.

A modern, functional and convenient living space

Review Date Apr 2024

The variety of local shops is pretty good and convenient for everyday needs, and the flat is close enough to walk into town comfortably. The local train station is also really close which is a bonus. The road outside can get quite busy but this is understandable and the windows are mostly noise-proof. We haven’t explored any local restaurants in the area yet, although, there is a pub opposite and a Costa just down the road.

Please review your development:

The development is modern and functional and the gym is a nice addition. The flat is spacious and has a good amount of room with an up-to-date design. So far, the only issue would be the limited cabinet storage and size of the worktop in the kitchen, meaning large appliances can’t fit without reducing the usable area. The furnishings provided are good quality and nicely designed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flat is very well insulated and keeps the heat in during winter, we haven’t needed to put on the heating at all.
Although we were made aware of this during the viewing, we wish we had known before that there is no longer a full-sized resident’s lounge available to work in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t had many issues so far, though the maintenance team was extremely helpful and was sent over to us promptly.
