Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is a pleasant and convenient place to live, with good local shops, cafés and green spaces nearby. Transport links are easy to use, and my street is generally quiet with reliable bin collections and no major issues. Overall, it’s a friendly and comfortable neighbourhood.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always responded quickly and professionally to any issues I have raised. They are helpful, polite and genuinely willing to assist. Even when my wife accidentally dropped her earring in the shower, they took the time to help us find it, which we really appreciated. Overall, their support has been excellent and reassuring.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I appreciated after moving in is how well‑maintained and peaceful the development actually is. You don’t fully realise this during a short viewing. The community feels friendly, the facilities are genuinely useful, and the building management is more supportive than expected, which makes day‑to‑day living very comfortable.

Terrible management and rude concierge

Elliott's Yard, CV1

Feb 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Parking has been a terrible experience. They charge £150 per month, the charges for electric car charging is crazily expensive and management hasn’t done anything abt it despite being asked and they are supposed to be environmentally friendly? The design of the car park has been terribly done, with barely any room for delivery lorries and bin lorries and so many emails to management goes ignored. Been stuck behind so many lorries despite paying so much money and management do nothing abt this. I have been stuck behind lorries for 15-20mins at a time and been late for work etc. even after building work finished, there’s delivery lorries, bin lorries you get stuck behind.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No response, a lot of emails gets ignored. Emails abt rude concierge, fire safety rules for pets - are just outright ignored.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Very limited public spaces, no gym, no garden, cramped parking, rude and unhelpful concierge, no sound proofing in apartments
