Location is what makes staying in this building, you can’t complain you are close to city centre but not bang in the middle and have a lot around you. Parking could be better.

Building itself is quite plain, not a lot of design inside the building would be nice to have a gym like the other building across the road. A lot could do with a bit of a refurb. There is a lot of damp in the building. It would be nice to have bigger windows.

Nightlife is amazing, 2 min walk from bars and a few pubs and 15 min walk from the city centre. Downside is parking, as it’s a popular slates the space available out side for residents fills up quickly. Very difficult to find a space outside. You do hear noise outside, cars, faint music but nothing too loud.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response is usually quite quick, never waiting too long.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

New carpets would have been nice for new tenants. living right outside one of the entrance doors to the floor is very loud.

Main floor hallways are hoovered and lobby area get cleaned weekly normally. There’s are quiet few hallway lights which don’t get repaired and remain in a constant strobe/flicking. There’s been issues with the bins in car park which led to lots of overflowing of waste into the car park. Big puddles/leaks can form in the car park which can look concerning. There’s security based inside the building throughout the night and available in the main studios/tower areas during the day.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to Baltic market area for bars and food. Close to waterfront and Albert Dock, some green spaces nearby no major parks. Good transport links for bus. Some apartments come with private underground parking included in rent, in street parking can be busy and a few park on double yellows/dropped kerb/stupid places and receive fines. No antisocial behaviour, there can be skateboarders but don’t cause any issues. Can’t really hear traffic noise as surrounded by the other X1 buildings, can hear occasional building work from surrounding areas and sirens from ambulance station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There’s been issues with water supply cutting over the last few months, apparently haymarket are working to replace the water pumps in the basement.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Some residents can be messy ie spill liquid in lift/leave rubbish in bin chute room.

The building is pleasantly and environmentally designed . There is a lift in this 6 storey building it is well sound-proofed and is well insulated in winter months. There is a refuse chute on every floor and access to read electric and water meters.

We live in area convenient to city and airport with good bus service. Parking is available. It is quiet neighbourhood.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I once contacted them with question, they answered promptly

Quiet and peaceful environment with sparse connection with neighbours

Great location and spacious flats

Happy with design and placement of specific flat - flat is facing resident courtyard so encounter minimal traffic noise from street. Building management are helpful and property management usually reply quickly over email. Flat is very spacious and underground car park facilities are a bonus.

Very close to the city centre (within walking distance) and good surrounding transport links. Surrounding area has plenty of convenience stores, bars and restaurants, close to gym. Flat is facing a courtyard for residents so encounter minimal noise from streets.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Usually respond very quickly over email. Awaiting bathroom light being fixed but usually will respond and resolve issues fairly quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Helpful property management, residents of building very friendly. Families, couples, single residents all living here so residence is suitable for everyone.

Everything is good, they provide a good service about replacing facilities and building has a good management and good support. They always try to solve any problem that suddenly happens . You always can easily find the security building and the are brilliant.

The good aspect is they have a brilliant service when an issue arises and bad aspect is after signing the contract they never change anything in the property

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have a good service management and when I faced the problem they report the issue and it will be fixed as soon as they can.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that they can not take out any furniture or bed that you don’t need.
