Nice place to live

The building management and property management are both good. There is concierge for picking up parcels and security which help keep the building safe. There are postal lockers outside the building and the facilities are nice, including the gym and communal rooms.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are plenty of shops close by at the Lowry, supermarkets nearby and the tram stop is right outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, for example there was a water leak that was quickly fixed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You can sometimes hear noise from the corridor outside.

Spacious apartments with shops and transport nearby

Building is nice and the apartments have spacious rooms however the gates allowing access to the property can be a security risk as anyone can get in by pushing down on the handle with some force. Overall apartments are nice, clean the people who live there a friendly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location with shops nearby and numerous forms of accessible transport. Manchester city centre is about a 30 minute walk. Location is great and shops such as Tesco, M&S, Aldi Etc are literally a 5 minute walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management are great and friendly. They handle everything efficiently and professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Building is great however the bin rooms are outside and as a result you can sometimes see rats running past the front of the buildings.

Great location and nice building for young people

The buildings fit in will with their surrounding areas, very much common style for the Salford Quays and Media city area. The views are really nice if you live on the side with a nice view and the facilities like the gym are great. I have not used building management much but also never had any issues

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a lot of shops, bars and restaurants around. A shop literally downstairs and lots of things going on on the weekends while still being quiet . You also have the tram stop at your door step which is super convenient to get into town and reach train stations

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Never had any issues to be honest but also never heard anything bad

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd known so much is still being built around the development, can be a bit noisy sometimes but it's only temporary and will long term improve the area

good value for money

the building is generally clean, there has never been a problem with the elevator or gate. too bad the residences don’t have a free parking space. there should be an agreement between the residences and the parking spaces. the building is in good condition

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like the fact that the area is quiet and that in case of problems, the service responds quickly to a complaint and sends a technician very quickly I don't like the fact that the apartments are not isolated and that we can sometimes hear the neighbors

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

by e-mail, the interaction is very easy and quick thank you

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I hope I knew about the parking. I see places available but it’s impossible to get any,

Great location but a bit pricey

The design is great, but having more than 200 apartments, I think another lift was needed, especially when one stops working, when people is moving in/out or at peak times, this sometimes turns out to be very chaotic. The gym also needs to be looked after, it's getting old and some machines and stuff are often broken, we've reported this several times but the issue continues. The entrance door is broken most of the time, it gets repaired but it's broken again the next day, causing security concerns to the tenants and staff.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is excellent, since it's next to media city, where there are lots of places to go such as restaurants, bars, shops, theatre and a shopping centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they have been very prompt and professional with regards to that matter.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you want to renew your contract, the rent increases at least £100 more. If you enter with a reposit, they charge a fee of £15 per year per person if you renew your contract.
