Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There is a wide variety of restaurants and open space near by. Quiet neighbourhood with the exception of occasional traffic noise which is to be expected given the proximity to Prestwich Village.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
After 4.5 years, our snagging list is still outstanding. The 10+ leaks, damaged granite worktops (still unresolved), damaged floor tiles and several botched 'remedial' jobs later, we are still awaiting resolutions. Without a doubt the worst aftercare we have ever experienced. Redrow have been absolutely horrendous .
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Do not buy a new home from Redrow. It has been incredibly stressful and frustrating.

Transport link is good, parking car is poor we brought 4 bed rooms home we only can managed to park 2 car, we have 3 cars it’s difficult to park, the lighting in the st is very bad, no st light. Like the area very quiet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We have raised so many issues some have been done other still outstanding, not sure when will they be done.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There's an Aldi just down the road which is really handy and It's a 10 minute drive into Bradford, a 15 minute walk to Frizinghall station so good access to Leeds, Bradford and beyond. Lots of green space round about - the big hill behind our street has incredible views. We've had the standard-for-new-build-estates mini crime wave so you've got to make sure you keep your doors locked. Cars fly up and down the street. Keepmoat put some temporary speed bumps down which slows down some of the traffic, but they're not particularly useful because plenty of people speed over them anyway and all the speed bumps do is make the noise even worse. There's no easy solution though and I'm sure effective speed bumps will we in place when the development gets finished and roads get tarmac over them.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I've had a quick response every time I've raised an issue, and if it's been urgent and site team haven't got back to me, Keepmoat customer services have helped me out.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I had no idea I had to pay for my wheelie bin. I wish I'd known how bad speeding cars would be and how little anyone seems to be able to do about them. And I it would have been useful to know that new build estates get targetted by small time thieves.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The development is situated 1.5 miles from the city centre where there is a wide range good quality restaurants and bars also many places that provide entertainment for the whole family. There are many forms of local transport within a short walk of the development. You will find all the major supermarkets within a two mile radius and one of these is just at the bottom of the development. Frizinghall Train Station is less than 1 mile away on foot which provides a good link to other major cities. There is plenty of parking space on the street and most homes come with off-parking for at least 2 vehicles. Bin collections are on a fortnightly basis for both household waste and recycling and there is also a garden waste collection which to date they have never missed. We have never witnessed any anti-social behavior and feel this is a good Neighbourhood to live in. Although there is some traffic noise this is usually at peak times however it is very quiet during the night and the windows that the developers have installed are very good at minimising all sound.

The building management have responded efficiently to all of the issues we have raised.

Everything was detailed and transparent when dealing with the sales department and there were no unexpected surprises so we have no insights to offer.

There are a number of shops within a 2miles radius of the area, which include coffee shops, supermarkets and gyms. Transport links are great as there is a train station less than 10mins walk away, and 15mins away from the motorway network.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
With very little care, I’ve had to argue my case on so many issues and the poor quality of work that’s been done.

How poor the quality of finishing is when a house is completed.
