Cheap house due to low build quality.

It is good that morrisons is just nearby, which makes daily shopping very easy. The train station is also just 5 mins walk. The transport link is in general good, although a little too crowded in peak hours. Parking is available in morrisons which makes it easy for guests to join. Bin collections have been terrible as Morrisons and building's wastes are dumped together. If not regularly cleans, starts smelling really bad and the gate is through entrance as well instead of basement. The time we moved in, for 3 weeks there was no wastage cleaning, making it difficult to stand around the lift due to the smell. Trespassers were a big threat in this building. Security gaurds were requested by tenants, but would only come after 7pm and will be away on Sundays.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

About the toilet leaks of the 1st flat on 5th floor. It would wet the whole carpet and the house is just near the lift. So there is no way you can skip walking through that carpet. You come home tired from work and first thing you smell is this leaking toilet. Such emergencies were not even resolved in 6 months time we spent there. Just imagine how unhygienic would this be for kids.

What is the best feature of your home:

The view from the balcony was very asthetic. The kitchen is also spacious.

Really great area but the lift often breaks

I really like this area - it has great connections to central London via both tube and bus. There are also lots of shops nearby which is very convenient.

That the lift would break so frequently and that the building management was so poor

Really great area but terrible building management and poor security

I like the area because the residence is close to the tube and bus stations and there are lots of good shops and my child's school is nearby. I would definitely recommend this area in terms of convenience. However, I have noticed that the area is becoming increasingly dirty and ill-maintained and this is a real shame.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the lift would break so often, that the building was not well managed and that people could break the locks on the door and enter into the common parts

The public transport nearby is really useful. It is super close to the bus station and train station.

There is no parking for council tenants. Private tenants is a totally different story.

Harrow is a great place to live in. There is no pollution, the Morrison's is nearby and good to shop in plus the town centre also has good shops. The nearby park is another bonus and the exercise equipment is actually super well maintained in it.

The parks nearby are really nice.
