I think the management has been quite poor

I think the management has been quite poor, trying to get problems sorted takes a lot longer than usual and we’re constantly chasing after them to get things done. The design of the house is good it could of done with a bigger bedroom in our living room as there is very little lighting so it becomes very dingy and dark.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s good parking, you can walk into the shops where we have the concourse and the bin collections are always on time apart from in winter when sometimes the lorries struggle.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes but they say they’ll get customer services to sort them out but they let them down.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Once you’re in the house, they don’t care about any problems you have.

The design is good from outside. The bathroom wall was not fully tiled and this has affected painting on the wall. The living room suppose to have window. The backyard exit suppose to link to the walkway for easy movement of bins. Building and property management is good.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good Aspect: There are easily accessible local shops. The area is close to many bus stops. Bad Aspect: The area is too quite. The bin collectors always drop the bin far from the house after disposing. Our small recycle bin is currently missing.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management quickly fixed the bathroom when it was leaking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that there is no park in the neighbourhood.

The development is fine, easy access on and off the site with plenty of amenities nearby. The design is fine with accessibility all round the estate. Facilities wise - basic but well served with amenities (shops, schools and countryside access) a few mins off the estate

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Easy access to local amenities (shops, schools, countryside access). No major problems in the immediate local area

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They've responded but not all issues have been resolved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the quality of the garden was very poor but not obvious on viewing

Good development

Good development, we do like living here, although I would like to see more trees and nature. A nature reserve development would be a big seller, I find that we are in a time of change and as new developments are built it is important to consider as a developer what you are taking away from the land and turning into money. Please take into consideration in future developments the previous wildlife that may have lived here. Some route through or reserved part of the development - perhaps a nature trail for the residents . Thank you

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good, quiet estate. I do feel there needs more trees and greenery

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded well and quickly thanks, will recommend.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I had known how little nature there is surrounding each plot. It is important to understand that when building a housing estate the natural environment must be considered, since living here I have had very little bees/bugs and nature to my garden and the amount of hedgehogs as roadkill as a result of having fenced in gardens when this used to be a flourishing field for nature. it is sad to see. Thanks for reading

Buying a Keepmoat home is the worst experience of my life

Owner (Owner)

The build quality and overall finish of the houses are very poor, the storage facilities in my property type are awful, the location is very good, access to m58 and m6 is ideal, the development itself is very nice, the people are very nice and friendly, the only major issue for me is the quality and finish of the houses, I don’t no how Keepmoat get away with building such poor quality homes.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location for motorway links, few local shops within walking distance, plenty of open spaces and some nice walks, transport links are very poor so car is needed, parking is very good as roads are wide, very quiet and generally pleasant place to live

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The customer care and after sales was shocking, staff were rude and the quality of workmanship is disgusting

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I had looked at Keepmoat reviews before I purchased the property, my biggest regret is buying a Keepmoat home
