An 8 out of 10. Quiet corner of Deansgate provides city life but has room to improve

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is central to restaurants and shops. Most things are within a 20 minute walk. The tram is a shor5 distance away which makes it convenient to access other areas of the city. There is also a park 10 minutes away for those with furry pets.o do wish there were more late night options for food and drinks close by but perhaps that is simply the nature of Manchester.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are often slow and sometimes rude when responding to problems. When I moved in, my bathtub drain was rusted to the point where I could not plug it and had no use of my tub for over a month. The front desk concierge is helpful but property management is the issue. Cory is West Tower Front of House is very nice.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
None that I can think of. If you love and have dogs, this is great development. If you do not, maybe not so much. I have a dog and love the dog community here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The range of local restaurants has decreased - from speaking to past restaurant owners, it seems the rent is very high. This should be considered by the developers as it seems it would be beneficial to have a vibrant restaurant or cafe culture for those that live here and to attract others to the area . The links to local transport are excellent. The immediate outside spaces are very well maintain. I received my parking spot with 4 weeks of moving in, which was excellent. There is daily noise from local construction, but that stops at about 5pm and is absent on Sundays, which works well with my lifestyle and work pattern.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Reporting issues via the app has been easy, and the problems have been managed quickly and effectively
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The vast range of people living here - it's been great meeting people from across the world, of various ages and backgrounds. The convenience of access to public transport - I've not used the car in weeks! The reception team - all really helpful and friendly! The soundproofing between apartments is actually better than expected... (Not perfect, but better than expected) You might need an eye mask for sleeping - the blinds are not black out!

Living in the towers is a blessing! Great views, great location - close to everything by a 10/20min walk to town. The people are nice, it can get noisy with all the construction happening, but all in due time.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I would like to also thank Yaz, one of the concierge staff who works under Facility 24/7, he is one of the best concierge staff I have met over the last two years staying in Deansgate Square. He is quick on his feet, very mature when it comes to dealing with complaints from the residents - I’ve seen him in action! He always brightens the day, asking me if any help is required or if I’m doing well. We NEED more staff like him, Because it shows that we matter as residents due to the concierge staff showing that they care about us. Hard working staff like Yaz deserve alot of credit!!!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The air conditioning The dramatic increase in rent The problems with the lifts and water pipes Entrance sometimes smells strongly of dog odour

I love Deansgate. I have lived here for 3 years. Great staff, great networking opportunities the part that isn’t always up to expectations is the gym, pool & changing rooms.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yeh, there has been a few times I have needed things fixing and they sort it quick
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The changing rooms in the gym and pool are not always up to scratch.
