Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great small shops and restaurants nearby, however very far from bigger supermarkets. Anti social behaviour often occurs , people will set fireworks of in the square bellow, drones fly over the area, there are always skateboarders filming and more recently a racial slur was written in the snow and management didn’t even realise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The front of house team are lovely but often make simple mistake in regards to who they give access to and have breached GDPR many times. You will barely see the management team and it seems as though they use other members of staff to communicate for them.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had know the that standards and upkeep of the building would be appalling and that urban bubble are not a great managing agent at all, which is now clear to me now that I know more about the company.

Manager response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We recognise that your experience has not met expectations, and we take these concerns seriously. However, the reality is that maintaining the high standards we aim for can be challenging in a busy environment like The Residences, and we are constantly working to improve where we can. We acknowledge the issue of cleanliness, but please note that some of the concerns you’ve raised, such as dog excrement and anti-social behaviour, are unfortunately beyond our immediate control. While we do our best to manage these incidents, they often require cooperation from residents and local authorities. Regarding building upkeep, we understand your frustration, and we are aware of the challenges with certain doors and security issues. Rest assured, these are being addressed, and while maintenance can take time, we are committed to resolving any outstanding problems. In terms of our management team, we apologise if you feel that communication has been lacking. We are always working to improve the responsiveness and effectiveness of our staff and appreciate your input on this. We also take GDPR very seriously, and any mistakes made are being reviewed to ensure they don’t happen again. We do appreciate the positive feedback on the small shops and restaurants in the area. Our goal is to foster a strong sense of community, and we continue to work on improving the living experience for everyone at The Residences. Thank you again for your comments. While it’s clear that your experience hasn’t been ideal, we remain committed to addressing these issues and improving where we can.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Deansgate Square offers great convenience with restaurants just downstairs and a local shop for groceries. There are bus and tram stations nearby, making transport accessible, though traffic can be heavy at peak times. Parking is challenging unless you have an underground spot. The area is modern and well-maintained, Noise levels are generally low. The overall atmosphere is vibrant yet peaceful, with plenty of open spaces and easy access to bars and shops in the city center.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management is generally good, but response times for maintenance requests can sometimes be slow. Security and concierge services are excellent, ensuring a smooth living experience overall.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that parking can be difficult unless you secure an underground spot

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Area is nice, local shops and restaurants are high quality but expensive. Events are held regularly both to residents only and outdoor public events. Good sense of community, and almost everyone is very nice and friendly. Resident areas are cleaned almost everyday and are generally looked after really well. Coffee machines and free WiFi are nice bonuses.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Communication is basically non-existent via emails or the resident portal, problems and questions have very slow responses, or no response at all. However, in person support via concierge is extremely helpful and usually results in any problem or question resolved there and then.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Maintenance team and front of house is pretty unresponsive. Some doors are only one way accessible to residents (staff can go both ways) which makes moving around the area more tedious. Large rent hikes after tenancy renewals.
