Pretty little house, energy efficient, in a lovely, quiet area with good amenities.

Design is practical, the homes are very warm in winter with lots of light. Energy efficient (with solar panels on most houses). Could do with more storage space but that is a problem that most new builds have. Useful shed in garden. The garden is secure (important for pet-friendly housing!) and in our case very large. Quality of building is a little disappointing (for example there is little internal sound-proofing) but any problems/faults are addressed fairly promptly by maintenance. Property management company is good (Joe is great) and overall we are very happy with our choice to move here! I would recommend it.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A lovely place to live, very peaceful (apart from some construction which is kept as discreet as possible), lots of green spaces. Easy access to the M1 & A5, and a short drive to the train station, making travelling easy. There is a lovely cafe at walking distance and a small but well stocked Co-op. Great place for families as there are several play areas. Good feeling of community, nice and helpful neighbours.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Overall very responsive, and they try to help with any issues with the landlord. They also quickly refer issues to maintenance when necessary.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Homes are pet-friendly but there is a maximum number of pets allowed depending on their size. We had to pay extra for our second dog (upon payment of deposit/first rent) then by the time we moved we had lost one of them and had to keep paying the extra amount for the whole year. For anyone moving to a newer part of the development, do look at the surrounding area and how much construction is taking place near the home.

Well maintained, well managed, clean, energy efficient home with easy access to local facilities.

The move in has been extremely smooth and efficient. The property is well managed and well maintained. Joe has been very responsive as has the maintenance team. It was left in excellent order and whatever minor issues, like a broken door handle, were fixed immediately. The only design issue for our family is that the main bathroom only has a bathtub and no shower available. This is not ideal for an energy efficient home. We are trying to see if one can be installed so the bathroom can be used regularly. There is however a shower cubicle in the master bedroom.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have just moved in. So far it has been excellent. The roads are quiet and plenty of open spaces and wildflower gardens and paths to have a walk or walk your pets. We are a family of 3 and the local children knocked on our door with a big welcome which was very nice to see. There is a new play park opened and they told us all about it. Overall a quiet, clean location with good amenities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most internal problems that could be fixed immediately have been completed. Others maintenance jobs for the garden fence for example have been scheduled.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We confused the Ashlawn development with Houlton/Pioneers, the latter being a further distance from Rugby schools. It would be good to have known bus routes.

Beautiful, picturesque estate. Quiet and peaceful. There is so much available locally and on the estate. Ice cream shop and cafe plus the pizzeria are all great facilities to have close by. Joe has been so accommodating. He kept calm and positive whilst we were selling our home , which was so needed as we were dealing with people constantly putting barriers in our way (or that’s what it felt like at times) But Joe was always calm and had solutions for all our concerns . Ensuring that the process of renting was straight forward

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have just moved in this week. The house is well built and designed with everyday living in mind. Clean , bright and tastefully decorated. Local amenities are great! Joe has been wonderful. We sold our house and had lots of stressful moments but throughout it all Joe was the one person that made everything straight forward for us! We needed to rent storage as no properties have a garage. I think this company have really got it right ! It’s very obvious they care about their customers and they want them to have a good lifestyle . Thankyou

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve not had any building issues yet, thankfully . Personal moving in issues were dealt with in a very supportive manner.

Would have been great if garages were an option with some properties.

House is good, like the white walls and the fact that dogs are welcome as well. The kitchen and bathroom is also up to standard very good Would recommend, also glad that the wife is included in our monthly rent price. Good so far and will see how its goes.

Good so far, I have only stayed here for 15 days now, and cant say much! Overall good and looks good

I do not have any issues yet, have not stayed long enough

Parking, people are parking on the streets and personal I do not like that

We really like living here Joe Gilman was very helpful with the move in. He explained everything and answered all my questions (and I had a lot of questions). The house is modern. When we moved in everything was clean. Good management of the building. Property management very good.

Calm, quiet neighbourhood. Safe with good transport. Good Restaurants. Unfortunately we do not have GP. Bus transport is unpredictable

They are very kind and helpful with everything. Anytime I call Joe he is very kind and helpful.

Modern, clean, smart house. Very helpful management when moving in
