Great homes with Good management

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Hassocks high street is around 20 mins away by foot, and there are other good options in Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath. Access to A23 usually takes 15 mins. The streets in the area are clean and well maintained. No issues with parking and bin collections. However, as the construction work is still ongoing, there are big trucks and dust occasionally.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All issues and queries are addressed promptly. We consistently received emails without delay.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Construction work in the area is still ongoing, so there may be small rocks and dust on the road. I suspect one of my tyres was punctured as a result.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we knew more about information on the bills and we wish the garden was a bit bigger but overall a great property!

Profit Over Community

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area itself is excellent; however, reaching the nearest station involves around a 30-minute walk behind the development through an alleyway, which does not feel safe at night. As this is a review of the place I live, I also find that neighbours can be quite nosy, and the estate is becoming increasingly overcrowded. It feels more like a large development than a homely community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There is a dedicated maintenance team in place. Whenever repairs are required, the team is responsive, professional, and efficient, and any issues are dealt with to a good standard.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the development would remain under construction for years, bringing ongoing noise and disruption. The estate is very densely packed, which makes it feel busy and overcrowded rather than homely, and parking can be challenging with cars often blocking roads and access. Communication is also limited, as there is no direct contact for the house or estate manager and all queries must go through reception. Overall, the focus on continued building has had a noticeable impact on day-to-day comfort and quality of life.
