It’s local it many things such as town, park shops, cafes swimming baths, I have spend many hours in the park just a small walk away from my house

The issues you raise can take time for them to be resolved

It’s a good area but with being so close to the police station you can hear a lot of sirens

Local shops are abit far, family has to walk alot. Always have to use car. Bus station is also not close

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very poor response, i has to wait 4 weeks and call 10+ times to get my lawn job, and guy only showed up with a mover and left in 10 mins ! Didn't do any job levae alone a proper job. Lawn was full of 1 foot long bushes. Washroom floor was knackedred, but still has not been done, despite being accepted as a job to do

Slow response of landlord company, complaints on their portal are not entertained.

Living at Deakins Court has been a really positive experience. The accommodation is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The management and staff are always friendly, professional, and quick to respond whenever help is needed, which really makes a difference. The location is convenient — close to transport links, shops, and local amenities — yet still feels peaceful and secure. The community atmosphere here is also great; everyone is respectful and it feels like a safe and welcoming environment to come home to. Overall, Deakins Court offers excellent value and a great living experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for reliable, comfortable, and well-managed housing.

We got the best deal to be honest Living at Deakins Court has been a really positive experience. Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The best thing about living in my area is close proximity of essential things such as grocery shops, high street, public transport links (both train and buses) to few major surrounding cities, thus it is great for commuters and professionals. The only bad aspect of this area would be anti-social behaviour in the wider community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management always responded promptly to any issues I had.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known what a lovely community it is to live in in terms of surrounding neighbours - everyone are so friendly, even on a very first Christmas giving out cards to everyone, building management also throwing up very spontaneous free pizza parties for the community etc.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have lived here for over a year now, and although located right next to a police station, the amount of car break-ins that are occurring on a nightly basis is a very big let down. The parking is fine in the area is good and there are a range of shops, parks & restaurants that are local and within walking distance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues I have raised have not been handled well at all. Not only myself, by the lady who comes and does the 6-monthly inspections had reported the issue with my landing carpet on numerous occasions and I am still waiting for somebody to come and replace it after over a year of reporting and waiting. The wait and communication from Wise Living is very poor when it comes to issues raised and they will always try to pin blame on you.

One thing I wish I knew prior to moving in would be the fact that the rent is increased drastically each year and not all the properties (those that are exactly the same layout, bedrooms etc) are priced differently. (We pay more monthly than my neighbours who have the exact same property and have lived there a lot longer than us)
