Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area surrounding the development is unpolished and next to a motorway which aren’t exactly plus points but the development itself is gorgeous, well groomed and well maintained! Being near Brent Cross shopping centre is convenient and Brent Cross West is a lovely and convenient station.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They respond immediately and address all manner of issues within 24 hours although usually immediately

I’d would’ve liked to have known that my kids weren’t allowed to use the gym. It perhaps there is a way around that… it’s in discussion…

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The shops and open spaces are great, transport links are good. Only notes I would have is that our street (Tinsmith street) can often get very noisy at night with speeding cars and people smoking on the street outside it would be appreciated if security could frequently check this and ask people to politely move on/if residents on floors higher up can be reminded that loud shouting / music in early hours of the morning is often disturbing if you have work the next day. The really frustrating part is that parking permits aren’t given out for visitors - this would be great if they could be as local parking is so expensive.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management - concierge in particular have been nothing short of amazing. Cosmin and Vasileia in particular have been outstanding, they take such pride in their roles, always greet you with a smile and their friendliness, willingness to help, passion and warm energy really make this place feel safe, reminds you you’re cared for and make it feel familiar and homely. The whole concierge team are great but those two in particular are a testament to brilliant customer service. Whether taking the time ask follow up questions when speaking to them about your day, going the extra mile to personally show you where something is or consistently showing they truly care about our experience as residents and people. I cannot praise those two enough and really think they deserve their efforts recognised and resident appreciation made known. Also shout out to Mohsen who has always been very friendly.

It would’ve been great to have been shown how all utilities work but Cosmin and Vasileia made sure that we were well looked after.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
One of the biggest advantages of living here is the location. Having Brent Cross Shopping Centre just a few minutes away is incredibly convenient, with an excellent choice of shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and everyday essentials all within easy reach. Whether you need to pick something up quickly or want to enjoy a meal out, everything is close by. Transport links are equally impressive. With immediate access to the M1, the North Circular (A406) and excellent connections to the M25 and central London getting around is simple whether you’re commuting for work or travelling further afield. This connectivity significantly reduces daily stress and saves time. This place is a dream for anyone looking to live well. The fantastic dining, outstanding shopping and superb transport links are all top-notch. Plus, everything you need is right on your doorstep, yet you’re still perfectly connected to the rest of London and beyond.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes the oven wasn’t working they came and fixed it fast.

The only constructive feedback I would offer relates to the use of temporary staff. While the permanent Maple team consistently delivers an excellent standard of service, my experience with some temporary staff has been noticeably different. On occasion, they have come across as less professional, less approachable, and not as invested in the resident experience or the standards that the building aims to uphold. I believe this is an area where Maple should exercise particular care. Temporary staff are often the first point of contact for residents and visitors, so they play an important role in representing the building and its values. Being more selective in the recruitment and training of temporary workers would help ensure that the high standards set by the permanent team are maintained consistently. The difference in service is noticeable, and addressing it would further enhance what is otherwise an excellent living experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s a really nice area! There aren’t that many shops, restaurants, or bars open yet, but from what I’ve seen, lots more are due to open soon, so it’s definitely developing. The only downside is the parking. The Maple offers parking spaces, but they’re not free, and because of the building, Barnet Council won’t issue a resident parking permit. Other than that, it’s a great place to live. There are plenty of facilities, the development is beautifully designed, and there’s a 24-hour concierge team who are always friendly and happy to help.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Whenever I had any questions about the facilities or needed any information, Cosmin was always happy to help and guide me. Cristi gave us a great induction when we moved in, explaining how to use all the facilities and making sure we felt settled. If you ever have an issue or an emergency, they’re always friendly, approachable, and willing to help in any situation. Their support really makes you feel welcome and well looked after.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only thing we weren’t aware of before moving in was the free parking situation. The Maple does offer parking spaces, but they come at an additional cost which we was informed from the beginning . Parking can also be quite difficult for visitors if you want free of charge , so if friends or family come to see you, it can be a bit of a challenge. Another thing to be aware of is the building’s security. If someone is visiting, you’ll usually need to go down to let them in, as they can’t access the lifts on their own for security reasons. Visitors can contact the concierge using the buzzer, but I don’t believe the concierge can grant lift access, so you’ll still need to meet your guests. While it can be a little inconvenient at times, it’s also reassuring to know the building takes residents’ security seriously.
