The best thing about The Lansdowne are the Concierge team. They are all really friendly and welcoming! The facilities are great with plenty shared space. The only thing I would change is the finger print entry system – it can make it slightly more difficult for guests, but the concierge team are always willing to help.

The location is ideal for exploring birmingham. Brindley Place & The Mailbox are a short walk away with options for dining & drinks. The canals are close by for walking as well as Edgbaston Reservoir. Transport links are great with Five Ways a short walk away.

I think I got a pretty good sense of the property when I viewed it – the team answered any questions that I had!

I haven’t had any issues while living at the Lansdowne
Great building and place to live

Like – location, the common areas, the gym is great. Dislike – The bathtub spreads water all over the bathroom

The security at the reception are incredibly nice, helpful and their smile is what I appreciate most. I feel really safe living here and the design here makes me feel like I’m not living in an apartment, but an art gallery.
In my flat, the living area is very big and the home designer actually nailed it as I am satisfied with the spacing between the rooms.
However, I can see some flaws near the lights on the ceiling. There are some cracks in the ceiling but it is totally fine for me.
The overall experience is really good, the only bad thing here is that everything is so perfect.

Morrisons is near, the cinema is near, city centre at a walking distance, the gym is downstairs, the train station is near.
The only thing is the Uni of Brum is so far away from me (rent near there is disastrous)
Yea, so it’s perfect.

Excellent Birmingham living
This really is an excellent place to live. I can’t fault it at all. The place is extremely well designed and the amenities on offer are excellent. Furthermore, the staff are excellent. The management team are quick to reply and sort any problems you may have. Also the concierge team are very friendly and always very helpful should you need them.

Great experience for a first time tenant
Overall I am very happy with the experience The Lansdowne has provided in the first 6 weeks of us living in the property. The only issues holding it back from being 5 stars is the issues around us moving in to the property advertised as brand new when it in-fact wasn’t. This was more disappointing than anything as we would have been happy to go into apartment 208 (which was offered) knowing it was new. Instead we moved into an apartment that wasn’t cleaned to a high standard, had soap and hair residing in the bath/shower area and had a few marks such as damage to one of a cupboards which was documented on our moving day. The previous tenant still has not stopped her post being sent to our address either so we are still receiving post which we have to hand over to building management to deal with.
Other than that building management has been extremely helpful and has made themselves available at any request and me & my partner look forward to the rest of the tenancy watching the community build up. The communal areas are a great place to have family and friends and the onsite gym is very well maintained.

This is a prime location for anyone who works in the city. There are plenty of shopping locations as well as restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. There are travel links near-by which makes getting around the city/ in and out of the city very easy. Me and my partner also work very close by which allows for a very convenient work/social life balance.

Certain free to use facilities we were told about are not currently in use (such as the ice machine). We believe this is due to a small portion of the property currently being occupied but it was a slight disappointment to see it out of use during the summer.
