Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is generally very quiet, and is well lit at night due to the proximity to the BBC and ITV buildings. I never feel unsafe. Paid parking is available but quite expensive. Transport links are good, though it is better to walk to the Imperial War Museum tram stop than the Media City one if you want to get into the city centre quicker.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Some issues have been dealt with quickly (smoke alarm batteries dying). Other issues took persistant complaints before they were addressed (flying cockroach infestation), and some other things were never fixed despite being told repeatedly they would be (bathroom extractor fan, paintjobs). Eventually gave up asking for things to be done.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The best thing is the people (and pets in the building). Always view the exact apartment you plan to move into and take what they say about having something done before you move in with a pinch of salt because it likely won't be done.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location in media city. Staff are amazing. Furniture is good quality and nicely designed. Only bad aspect is how hot the apartments are, especially the higher up you get.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had no problems or issues so far, everything has been great.

How hot the apartments are - very difficult in summer months.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is fantastic; lots of bars, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. You also have access to the tram too which you can get into Manchester City centre fairly easily.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were always very quick to respond to any issues or queries.

How warm it is! Due to the hot water being plumbed into the building, it is very warm.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Mediacity is a great place to live and Green Rooms is in the heart of it. There’s Moose coffee shop and Costa nearby, a co-op around the corner and a small Sainsbury’s not too far from that. Plenty of bars and pubs too, and the Lowry and a cinema. Blue Peter gardens are pretty to walk through and I’ve loved living by the water.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had problems with downstairs neighbours and they were great with supporting it. The only complaint is the hot water company was changed to Community Utilities and they are extortionate

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The heating is provided by hot water and you pay two different companies for hot and cold water so double the service and standing charges. Community Utilities who the hot water is with are extortionate. As a single person in a one bed flat, paying over £100 a month for water because of all the fees isn’t great.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of restaurants and coffee shops around, however, i feel like a bigger supermarket is needed in the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have lived at the green rooms for about 2 years and rarely had any issues. Our washing machine broke a week after moving in, however, it was replaced within 5 days. All queries and concerns have always been addressed promptly.

During summer, the temperature in the apartment can get quite unbearable, but we have never switched on the heating in winter
