Living at The Green Rooms is better than I possibly imagined. It meets all of my requirements as it’s a social building full of lovely residents, managers who are always on stand bye to greet you and support, plus full of gorgeous pets! It has a lot to offer with communal areas, conference room, onsite gym, concierge (so you never have to miss a parcel) and a coffee machine. It is also a peaceful and relaxing development where you can have your space and enjoy incredible views of the Quays. When I’m on my balcony I often feel transported far away like I’m on holiday with a sea view 🙂 I couldn’t ask for more for a home and I can’t envisage ever wanting to move.

The location at Media City is perfect for me with my work near by, several restaurants and bars, plus supermarkets and gyms. I love being next to the water on the Quays. I’ve lived here 9 months and I’m still not board of the view.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Parking is probably the only issue and with multi story car parks being built near by- this could bring both pro’s and cons.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
I can not think of anything which would improve it. The development is always clean, tidy, well managed and friendly. Our three bedroom corner apartment has everything we need: lovely modern kitchen including dishwasher, modern bathrooms, perfect bedrooms, great king size beds, fabulous wrap round balcony. It is perfect temperature- not too hot or cold. The apartment was fully furnished with brand new lovely furnishings. I can not think of anything else we need.
Absolutely love living here!
I cannot fault anything about living in the green rooms. I’ve lived here for over a month now and I absolutely love it! Our apartment is beautifully designed with tall ceilings and thanks to the thick walls we never hear any noise from neighbours and we haven’t had to put the heating on once as it’s always lovely and warm. All the appliances are of the highest quality & the design of the kitchen is really well thought out. There’s so much hidden storage including a floor to ceiling built in wardrobe in the bedroom and two extra built in cupboards. All the rooms feel so spacious, a huge bonus was the large bathroom which is a room that is often cramped in rented properties. We love our big balcony with a view of coronation street! Something that makes this place so special is the amazing team who work here, everyone is friendly, attentive & go above and beyond for the residents who live here even hosting a virtual bake-off and pumpkin carving competition during lockdown! There’s someone at reception for 24 hours a day meaning you don’t have to worry about any parcels being delivered, they’re locked away safely in a mail room. The residents lounge looking over the water, the gym and huge foyer are all beautifully designed and offer extra space which is great for anyone working from home. Couldn’t recommend living here more!!

Media city offers loads of shops including a big outlet mall as well as plenty of food shops and huge variety of restaurants. The tram stop is just a few minutes walking distance from our apartment and they’re really frequent, it’s just a short tram ride to the city centre.

There’s a built in bin in the kitchen with recycling compartments so don’t worry about buying a bin!
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
I can honestly say there’s nothing I would really change perhaps the only thing is the toilet flush could be a bit stronger but it’s meant to save water which isn’t a bad thing!
Living here is easy and safe.
Lovely, friendly, helpful staff team who provide a warm welcome when you get home.
Secure building – feels safe.
Quiet living – good sound insulation compared with many other flats.
Warm as winter draws in.
Great views and sunsets from the NW facing side.
Balconies feel very private.
High spec gym and other in-flat appliances.
Nice shared workspace downstairs with good light.
Rooms feel quite spacious and have decent storage compared to many other flats.
Lovely big bathroom.
Comfy beds.
Well finished apartments with lots of plug sockets too!
Clean bin area!

Living here is easy.
Two decent mini supermarkets, cafes, bars, restaurants (many of which offer takeaway). Lowry outlet is perfect for those new flat essentials.
There are plenty of places to meet people/ socialise yet it isn’t too busy or noisy.
Lots of parking for friends and family visiting.
Walks and runs are decent around the quays.
Public transport includes two tram lines, busses and water taxis in summer.
It feels safe.
It isn’t too busy – as with city centre living.
Nothing to dislike!

Nothing really but I spent quite a bit of time working out which apartment I’d like. Do you want to be next to the lift/ is your balcony best placed for light? It is worth getting a sense of these things before signing up.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues are always dealt with and the team are always helpful.
The Green Rooms all around excellent
In general the design is very good, one change I would make would be to increase the size of the draining board area. The facilities are brilliant, more discounted car parking spaces would be good. The building management and property management are great and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

It’s a nice and quite area with good transport links within walking distance. There are also a good variety of restaurants and cafes close by including Grindsmith coffee shop which does great breakfast and coffee.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Limited options for online ordering as not all companies recognise the address.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
Reduce the size of main bathroom and make bedroom or wardrobe bigger.
Super happy, modern and classy designs and location couldnt ask for more, so lucky to be here
Never seen the building anything other than spotless, everyones super friendly, so many beautiful dogs and the views are amazing from pretty much every apartment, the design of the flats is so well thought out too, so happy with it.
Also special mentions to Avril, Delaney, Jess, Sam and Tom for an amazing concierge service, all such blessed amazing people

Free WiFi
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Hard to react in these covid times, hopefully soon a few things will be repaired by maintenance team, but they are aware
I’m a happy tenant
Car park is missing in the design, and the Communal garden is missing too.
Some improvement in cleaning would help, for example Stains on carpet next to elevator on 9th floor.
Maybe some activity for kids and women would help to create better living environment.

Only downsides probably; good schools, sports center, and supermarkets are little far. Restaurants and other amenities are good

Comfortable New Start
Moved in on the 1st of July and have loved every second of it, the rooms are beautifully furnished with great amenities all around.
The staff are also lovely and a great help, shout out to Jess and Delaney who made the whole process much more welcoming.
Would definitely recommend an apartment here, great community and location.

Wardrobe space is a bit short – would have brought more furniture with me

Always been quick and prompt. Friendly so I feel I can come to them with any issues that there are.

October Move
The development provided the space, design and location we were looking for. Along with easy access into Manchester in a secure location, with enough local facilities for our needs. The three beds gave us enough space and the terrace gave us some outside space. Car parking directly opposite was a bonus.

The Green Rooms are Superb.
The Apartment is perfect, cleverly thought out and a bit of luxury. I believe it is great value because it’s such a great place to live and spend my life in. Main thing is that often when renting you run into problems…things that don’t work, things that are damaged or well used and worn out. Cupboards that don’t fit! Services that are old and tired. In the Green Rooms, everything works!! It is a joy to be in, and I feel it is a bit of luxury to enjoy. The management are so good, very attentive and totally committed to helping everyone to be happy in their home. They are always available all the time, which is impressive. You know – often when you rent it’s hard to get the landlord to help…..at the Green Rooms I just know that everything will get sorted immediately, pleasantly and without any hassle. That means so much and is such a bonus. Also…the internet is awesome…and it’s free!!! as is the brilliant coffee in the Foyer…….

The area is perfect for me because I work in Media City. So I have the best of everything and the Green Rooms therefore are so convenient for all my needs. If I want to shop economically – especially for food and household needs – then a brilliant shopping area is only 10 mins drive away. Media City has perfect everything for eating out and transport. Its a great place to walk and run around and most importantly extremely safe to live in.

How environmentally efficient and economical the apartment is. How good the lifts are. How good the staircase is. How good the bins are. How good the residents lounge is….
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
Nothing to put here, everything is perfect. I just can’t think of a negative thing to say, or a positive change to make. When I look at everything it is all great. Sure I’d like a bigger flat in the same place, but for the same money, bills and council tax. That can’t happen so – I am extremely happy, Thanks.
Tastefully designed apartments in a great location
It’s a well designed and brand new building with a decent gym and very comfortable shared space downstairs. The apartment is large, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. Apartments on the canal side have uninterrupted views across to the Pennines and a very useable balcony space.

Great area with easy transport links to the city centre. Could benefit from more parking options for residents but overall excellent choice.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I had to source my own parking arrangement and only found a space at the last minute. I would have been stuck paying daily fees if I hadn’t pulled a favour.
What is the best feature of your home:
It’s a short term let which was necessary whilst we deal with uncertainty around brexit and coronavirus
