Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Upton Park is a super lively and convenient area, and as soon as you turn off the Main Street it becomes quiet and residential. There’s a wide array of takeaways and shops (Boots, Lidl, Tesco) and these are about a 7 minute walk from The Forge as is the tube station which has access to District & Hammersmith and City line which can get you into Central London in around 30 mins. Not as many bars/pubs in the area but very close to a park. The street on which The Forge is situated is quite quiet most of the time, there’s some parking in the area and very little traffic noise however you can expect a bit of noise on a Friday & Saturday evening with people hanging around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The onsite maintenance guy Lonny is lovely and gets everything done quickly and to a high standard.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That it would get so warm when the sun comes in! It’s my first time living in a flat so that was slightly unexpected but will be great in the winter. ☺️

Great access to transport and quiet from busy local area - green street is very busy and overwhelming.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Perfectly and swift. Florian is a star and night team are great too

The changes in yearly prices . The communal area was not always open to use.

Close to High street and transport links. Good food options around and a marke for fresh fruit and vegetables

They were always quite quick in resolving any issues reported

I would have gone for longer term fixed contracts to avoide rent increases.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are loads of shops with wet and dry ingredients which is definitely a plus. The high street is extremely untidy and feels unsafe. Transport options are within close walking distance however the closest station does not have a lift and if you have a buggy or wheelchair then it's difficult to use. The council doesn't provide street parking to the residents of this property which is a huge drawback since the property has very limited parking at a high cost.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I have had issues with the Toilette and the maintenance person came over in a few days to fix it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Crime Rate in the area is high. Would have like to know more about the community centers as well.

The local area is quite dirty, and not very safe. No street parking allocated for our building. There are enough shops, but no nice restaurants or coffee shops around

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very fast, polite and efficient. Fixed all the issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there is no street parking allocated to this building, so the only option to park a car is in a building parking, which we have to additionally pay for
