Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
While the connectivity to Colindale station is pretty good ~(10min walk) where you can connect the Northern line from, it could do really well if there are a few more departmental stores like M&S/Waitrose in the vicinity. Overall, a well managed area with frequent pedestrians walking to and fro from the station.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
No problems/issues have been raised by us so far, however the management have been super responsive and warm despite use asking them a lot of questions (since we rented for the first time in the UK). Overall, great vibes.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It took a while for us to get the welcome emails from electricity and heating & water providers, as we had to reach out to them separately. Wifi-setup is pretty easy with 100Mbps free and options to upgrade. The council (Barnet) also appears to be a good one.

Hi Pranav, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience at The Draper. We’re delighted to hear that you’re enjoying the minimalist, high-quality design of the building and that it already feels like a great place to live. It’s also lovely to hear your positive comments about the wider Beaufort Park community and the overall sense of safety in the area. We appreciate your balanced feedback on the local amenities and connectivity. Being within walking distance of Colindale station is a real advantage, and we understand the desire for even more retail options nearby as the area continues to grow. It’s great to know that, although you haven’t had any issues, the team has been responsive and supportive—especially as this is your first rental experience in the UK. We always aim to be approachable and helpful, and your comments about the “great vibes” are very encouraging. Thank you again for your recommendation and for choosing The Draper. If you ever need anything or have questions in the future, the team is always happy to help.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There's an Aldi supermarket for affordable groceries, Morrison's, and retail parks for everyday needs. Restaurants offer a good mix, like the Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall for East Asian cuisine, authentic Italian at Spaccanapoli, and kosher options at Mr Baker. Transportation is generally accessible, providing a 30 minute ride to central London by tube northern line or bus no.113. The street feel is mostly calm and safe. And the free RAF Museum with historic exhibits and play areas
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team Mr Yusuf Khalifa are helpful, smart and good efficient. He will reply your email within 1-2days and try his best to slove the problem.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The new underground station is under construction. There is little traffic jam in peak hours .
