The design suits our needs and is spacious. Great position with good views. It will be super when the roads pathways and common land are finished. Elan need to compensate all for the road and footpath mess and get if finished to many excuses will it be the same in abberley ?

Local super market close as is the hospital, schools are handy if you need them. Very quiet

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very slow still waiting to get snagging list completed

The roads and pavements are still not completed and no idea when they will be done

From start to finish the customer service has been poor

My experience with Elan homes has been poor to say the least. From start to finish the customer service has been poor. I moved into a new home last June, raised numerous snags due to poor workmanship and finish. I am still waiting for the snags to be completed 8 months on. They do not respond in a timely manner and the build quality is poor. I will never buy from this company again and I advise anyone considering buying a new home to think very carefully.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is great and the facilities are good. The issues I have are with the developer, who quite simply do not know or care about their customers. I would not buy from Elan again.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response has been poor. I am still waiting for snags to be resolved. I am also still finding issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have known how poorly the homes are built and how bad the customer service was going to be.

Ten minutes walk from Tesco,nhs hospital, and woodland park. Only trouble we faced was delay in handing over the property during covid times. Bin collection, water and internet service are excellent.there are few good schools nearby. Exterior and interior design are different from each other and beautiful .

Development location is excellent with close proximity to Newtown road but still away from road noises, with an inhouse kids play area,with an excellent view from there, good parking availability

The team was helpful and responded to issues immediately

We purchased before house was constructed,so it was quite bit different from what we thought and the garden had a slope.we didnt know about some offers like automatic garage door

Good living area

Nice and big houses,with car park spaces. Very close to motorway. Big natural park in the immediate vicinity. Cons: -no playground for kids -in front of one house,there are 3 car park spaces for 2 houses.

Near the shops, good transport links, Hospital very close,quiet area.

Good communication. Any problem ,you can discuss with them.

Lovely house, poor aftercare

As said the location is excellent but there has been significant delays and the after care has been very slow. The care of the communal areas is very disappointing. The houses themselves are lovey, very nice layout and some nice final touches. Overall we are pleased with our house but more could be done in regards to after care and site care.

The location is absolutely amazing, backed on to a nature reserve and near many local amenities such as the hospital and shrub hill station

Problems have mostly been fixed but it’s a slow process

That snagging is a massive deal on a new build and not something I’d ever thought about
