The area is really close to a lot of local amenities, with good transport links, bars, and open spaces. There is the occasional event of anti-social behaviour, usually over by the nearby Tesco but this generally infrequent and just a typical city occurrence. The area around soho yard is very safe and pleasant to walk your dog, even later at night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There has been minimum issues, and where there have been, these are quickly resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The team at Soho Yard are very kind and friendly, if you're looking for a community and not just a property to rent, this is definitely the place to be.

It is perfectly situated with Kelham island only about a 2 min walk with lots of amazing bars and restaurants. Public transport or trains is just little hop and a skip which is perfect for getting to anywhere in the UK! The area itself feels very homely and not noisy at all!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building is very efficient with sorting out any problems that may arise! If there are any inconvenience that may come from the work they have to do to get the problem fixed, they really do go above and beyond to make sure you are still comfortable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure that you don’t leave the viewing having any questions still on your mind. The agents are really helpful and take their time to answer any and all of your questions.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is amazing! We haven’t been to Sheffield much before to know what areas are best but we have definitely fallen lucky with Soho Yard! It’s a very short walk to Kelham, which has lots of bars, restaurants and open spaces to enjoy. We love the friendly and welcoming feel of the area! Transport links are really accessible too, with the train station being a 10-15 minute walk away and a free bus right outside into the city centre! Parking is available at an extra cost.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t experienced any issues but feel confident that they would be quickly resolved with the team.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing we wish we knew that didn’t already! Just how many nice places there are right on our doorstep.

Overall the quality of restaurant, bars, shops is good. The parking is limited but the property has been able to find a deal for its residents. As a bad aspect, I’d say there are no parks or green areas close by.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick response, generous and considerate to our schedules.

Not that I can think of at this time, the initial viewing answered all of our questions.

Close to town and good transport links - location is a big positive. Parking expensive especially on top of rent but limited noise from traffic despite being close to the main road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded quickly and got issues fixed fast with good communication. Good maintenance with extra care taken with pets

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The water pumps are slightly noisy that was not seen on the viewing but this is getting rectified.
