It’s a very convenient location, everything is walkable in terms of city centre and great transport links if you want to go beyond.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly. We haven’t had any issues but wanted some things changing around and they were very quick and efficient. The maintenance man, Terry, is genuinely the loveliest person and is very good at his job, and ensures everything is done to a high standard and as efficiently as possible. We wanted some things hanging etc and he made sure they were done very well, not just a quick job to get over and done, he treated it like he was doing his own home and took pride in his work. He was also so lovely to our cat.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the hot water is charged separately to the normal water bill but other than that they were transparent about everything. There is also a trolley at reception that is very useful for bringing things up or down!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local area is good. Bars and restaurants not too far. Shops are abit scarce as only found the local Tesco so not really much choice.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Terry has done some work in our apartment and hes done a banging job. Super nice to talk to, didnt make it feel awkward to be around and he seemed to genuinely care about his work which is rare to find these days.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing comes to mind really as some issues could no way be expected.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The shops restaurants and bars in the local area are plenty and diverse enough that you will find what you need. The transport links are great as there are plenty of busses that pass through and it’s a short walk to the train station. The traffic noise isn’t too bad but once the windows are shut you can barely hear anything it’s lovely.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were prompt and were able to solve our issues with nothing bad to say.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The amount of flies in the area, we love having the windows and the balcony open but in the day there are a lot of flies that like to come in

The area is really close to a lot of local amenities, with good transport links, bars, and open spaces. There is the occasional event of anti-social behaviour, usually over by the nearby Tesco but this generally infrequent and just a typical city occurrence. The area around soho yard is very safe and pleasant to walk your dog, even later at night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There has been minimum issues, and where there have been, these are quickly resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The team at Soho Yard are very kind and friendly, if you're looking for a community and not just a property to rent, this is definitely the place to be.

It is perfectly situated with Kelham island only about a 2 min walk with lots of amazing bars and restaurants. Public transport or trains is just little hop and a skip which is perfect for getting to anywhere in the UK! The area itself feels very homely and not noisy at all!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building is very efficient with sorting out any problems that may arise! If there are any inconvenience that may come from the work they have to do to get the problem fixed, they really do go above and beyond to make sure you are still comfortable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure that you don’t leave the viewing having any questions still on your mind. The agents are really helpful and take their time to answer any and all of your questions.
